That came out gorgeously! Your final framing idea was much, much nicer than it started out as. I love the idea of using different textures and paint pouring selectively, all on the same canvas. Mixed media pieces are awesome and always interesting. I adore the colours you used. I would love to see a fire element version of this art piece, using reds, yellows, and oranges perhaps. In fact perhaps you could create one for each of the elements, as a series? Would you consider that idea? Your use of metallics with the hot glue surprised me, I hadn't thought of that before, but it came out really lovely looking. Thank you for an interesting video, and never apologise for changing your direction halfway thru the process, it's your art piece and therefore you have complete control and must take it in any direction that your artistic nature impells you too. God bless you sweetie, to you and all those you love, now and always.
Thank you so much for this sweet comment, Carly! I really, really appreciate it!💙🥰 Yes, reds and yellows sound perfect for another one; I’m definitely planning on experimenting more with mixed media. God bless you too my dear!💕
Bravo c’est une très belle réalisation je suis très content d’avoir participé aux petits secrets inventifs de ce beau mix média merci et bonne route à l’artiste et à bientôt pour une prochaine fois.
Oooooh wow. This is perfection. The entire time I was watching my brain was bombarding me with ideas for all the bits and bobs I save "just in case". What an amazing idea. Thank you for the inspiration. 😍
This is the first mixed media piece that gives me some confidence that I could tackle this. I'm mortifyingly new in this whole process, so I continue to be mystified by all things art! But I just feel pulled to start playing, so off I go. THANKS MUCH for sharing this!
Painting Worth putting in A Picture Frame! Very Creative with everyday house-hold items, string, cardboard carton ridges, tissue paper & Lace! Taking them & coming up with A Unique Beautiful Artwork! I Absolutely Loved it!!! Thanks for Sharing!
Once again you amazed me!! This under water scene is so beautiful. I love that you put it in the black frame. Your pieces of art make me so happy! What I like the most is that you do something different each week. I can't wait to see what you create next.
That was so beautiful as always AB! Seriously can’t get over the complete shock at the end but the results were stunning!!! I love how you always push the bar and try something new.
Thank you so much dear! Hahaha glad I could make the process exciting and shocking 😋 I Definitely make it a point to keep trying and sharing new things 😁 I’m glad you’re on board for the ride!
Love your work, its a little bit art a little bit mad scientist all narrated with a beautiful voice! Would love to see you try something like this and add your pour technique on top, wonder how the cells would look like in this underwater masterpiece! Maybe a future video?
Very fun! Haha I might be a little biased though 😂 Thank you dear and thank you so much for the lovely review! I haven’t had a chance to reply to it yet, apologies! 😊
I was unable to watch you yesterday, but I made up for it today and have watched you twice so far, today. Your process to the final piece was really awesome. Changing your mind and redoing this and that to realize a vision is human prerogative. I have lived near the ocean several years of my life and I love to snorkel. The lace and strings remind me of coral and grasses. The cardboard reminds me of lobster cages and pieces of old sunken boats. The rolled rope is so clever to replicate nautilus shells. Your really do have the mind of a very clever artist and you are a great educator. Well done Teach, well done.
Oh what a wonderful comment, Phylis, thank you so much!🥰💙I’m so happy you could see all these underwater items; I never thought of lobster cages, though. I also never tried snorkelling, but I’d love to! 🤿
I do love watching you create and so pleased when you use things you’ve found around ❤. Makes me happy to see “stuff” used creatively to make something beautiful, blessings
Beautiful, and that frame's perfect. I really liked this painting because it was made from cheap, easily available items, and easy techniques, great for beginners like me. I would love to see more like this. Thank you for sharing.
Your work is EXACTLY what I love to see!!! I am so glad to find your channel!!! I will begin a new piece, today, you are inspiring. I use tissue paper a lot and I have been too careful, but now...!!!
It’s amazing how much detail you put into this piece but it really paid off. I really thought you were losing it when you started to remove it from the campus and cutting it. Oh my gosh wow. But once you’ve got it in that frame it is just fantastic. Kudos for leading us through this incredible journey. I look forward to trying this for myself.
I absolutely love your art style and how you guiding us viewers on what and how you are doing your art. My first video I saw was the falling leaves/swipe. My mind was blown! I loved it. Your art gives me so much inspiration! And it helps that I am also in love with Arteza products. I have paint and canvases waiting for me to use, just no space to use them! I just hope I can use them before they go bad, if they ever do. Thank you so much for bringing this kind art into my life. I just love it. Keep the videos coming please!!! Lots of love from the PNW!
Thank you so much 🍐! So glad to hear about you getting inspired by my videos it means so much to me! As for the paints, I don’t think you have to worry about them going out of date any time soon 😂 You are most welcome and I’m so thankful for the support 💓
Well I don't think you were Expecing that Ending, were you? 😉 This Piece is FOR SALE Now: www.abcreativeofficial.com/shop/p/underwater-scene-12-x-12
Could you just use a canvas panel instead of disassembling a stretched canvas?
@@lesliemanning7253 Absolutely. If I had planned it from the beginning 😁
❤ Absolutely beautiful. You make it look easy to do. What a gift!
This looks like it could be the basis for lots of possibilities - can't wait.
