My 4 children are 24 and 29, since 2 years I am being creativ again. Now only my dogs are left, and in fact is a good life.
Never, never I will forget the best time of my life with the kids and would do it over again.
You will have plenty of time afterwards.
Art and kids can be hard to go together, + husband! 😉

That turned out great… ! You know Marta, all couples argue. Sometimes it is better to be in your separate corners. There are times to stick to what you feel is right and not be the one to always apologize. It makes him think he is right all the time and you are wrong. Make him do it sometimes. He will. Marta, I always say the difficulty with children increases exponentially. One child is 1. 2 children is kids squared (so like 4 kids) . Three is like having kids cubed (so like 9 kids!).

I would give anything to argue with my first hubby. I lost him to cancer and now I find nothing is worth not talking to each other. Never go to bed without saying you love each other because tomorrow is not promised. I think you have an amazing family and your Lucas is so cute. You two look perfect together. It IS a fabulous journal Spread. My husband was very stubborn as was his family. I called him teddy bear. He passed away 7 years ago and I miss him so much. Arguments will pass. Love each other like there is no tomorrow.

I love the Victorian feel to this. It reminds me of a calendar that I have framed from 1909. I am trying mixed media for the first time. It is not as easy as you make it look. ;) You create beautiful things...always. I also love that your children are being exposed to the beauty of creating.

Great how TH-cam sends the videos back to time. Especially seeing the girls and their interactions. Watching how we were journaling along with you from before and you are so right how we’ve grown. I didn’t used to comment before and had subscribed til lately just alway had you come up on Ma feed and crafted along. It’s great seeing this two years ago it’s states Feb 19th 2020 although the title is one year ago… great with the girls again and comparison to now. X love you all. X

you can use that embossing folder with a rolling pin or a brayer... you dont need a larger die cut/embossing machine to use it.. you can just roll a rolling pin over it a few times or put a lot of pressure with a brayer quite a few times.. and you will come out with an embossed piece .. just in cause you didnt know and thought you couldnt use it.. You can! :)

By the way I am married to a complete opposite to me and we are still together for forty six years and I would not change him for the world and believe me we have had some good squabbles not so much now are children are grown up and have children of their own. Just found this video. The book that you are using to do your collage, it is just an ordinary book that you have taken and stick pages together and then work on them. If so, what a great idea for old books that you don't read anymore. Please let me know as I would also like to start doing something like this.

OK I'm back too; I had to pause the video for little while in the early hours...and then fell asleep, so now I get to see you create something gorgeous with your new goodies, and hooray...it's the Wine Book!!! :-D What a lovely, kind and thoughtful pair you and Lucas are for helping your neighbours like that... no wonder your Emily, who has such a lovely teasing laugh, is such a kind, patient and loving sister!!! Finally, I'm back to the art hehe! I love the way you use your music pages and doilies to cover the page instead of just gessoing the bright colours out.
I adore those big pink/purple flowers and the birdies!!! There are so many beautiful papers these days, but I don't do fussy cutting... too painful for my stupid arthritic old fingers, but napkins are so easy to cut or tear apart for collage... so they are perfect for me. WOW! I have a glue pen I never used yet, but never thought to use it for embossing... perfect!
OMG!...Emily is such a tease! Hmm...I wonder who she gets that from Marta? ;)

So lovely that you are uploading so much for us at the moment.. but I hope you are still taking care of yourself and not putting too much pressure on yourself Marta! 🤗 This is definitely one of my favourite pages from you, love everything.. napkins.. watercolour feel.. birdies! So my kind of page 😉 gorgeous. Love hearing you and Emily joking on like this. I know the feeling of being total opposites in some way, although my partner and I don't argue so much.. hardly at all actually. But yes, it surprises me how opposites we are from time to time.. him being the more logical and grounded and me the more emotional, intuitive.. "crazy" one 🤣 our music tastes is the funniest one, I love my reggae and light hearted music and he more of a metal/progressive rock fan 😂. That may be our only disagreement.. and the way we make our cups of tea 🤣. He is more shy than me too but not quite as shy as Lucas 😉. It's nice to hear actually about those little moments in your family. Of course you have to keep things to yourself but as your friends we are here to listen to all those ramblings you have 😊 it is therapeutic to listen to you having these talks while I craft. It is helping me so much to have these regular videos at the moment so thank you, Marta. Self isolation is going to be difficult while I find it difficult to cope with someone in the household. So thank you for helping me cope, as always. Love and hugs 🤗🥰
