Hope you guys enjoyed my commentary on this one. One of the challenges I had to overcome while helping with this was working through a throat cold so a lot of these voice lines took many, many shots to make acceptable. Hope y'all were cool with how I presented it and enjoy this awesome game that I love so much. Super grateful to have been included on this project and in awe that so many of you guys have wanted it for so long.
Also, another fun fact: in 100% speedruns of BfBB we actually exploit the Wack-a-Tiki thing that Shesez covers in this video. If you guys have any other curiosities I can try to quench em in this comment thread as well!

@@zacc62 THQNordic released a teaser trailer and some images a week ago during E3 hype. It's supposed to come out sometime this year, if I remember correctly. A full remake too, not a remaster.
I never smiled so big seeing a TH-cam thumbnail. I would spend hours as a kid playing games just to get a glimpse of an out if bound area, trying regular jumps as far as I could go just to see more. This was one of those games. I'm glad I'm not alone in loving it. I freaking love this channel. It is giving me everything I ever wanted.
A lot if ps2 games are very nostalgic for me. One of my favorites is Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I feel like there would be a ton of secrets to discover in that game. There are doors that I NEED to know if there is anything behind and it would just be awesome to see zoom outs of different parts of the castle. And the final boss at the end where the basilisk battle where the snakes goes in and out. I would die a happy camper if I could see all those secrets. Thank you so much for making these videos. It means so much to 12 year old me.
Did you know in jellyfish fields on the slide next to murmaidman you can angle the launch at the end to soar past the ground ur supposed to land on and land out of bounds(all solid) and run all the eay to spongebobs neighhorhood in the far distance and explore it?
I feel exactly the same. As a kid, I would do the same in the SpongeBob Movie video game; I'd jump as high as I could or try running in all these crazy patterns to somehow get to off-the-map areas, haha. I want a video to be made for the SpongeBob Movie video game on this channel...that would blow the mind of 11-year-old me!

The only flaw this game had was Mr. Krabs wasn't voiced by the original voice actor. This game was so fun, can't wait for the remake.
This game was my childhood, best Spongebob game by far, the open world of the deep blue sea, the soundtrack was awesome. I remember getting this game for Christmas and playing it on the original Xbox for hours.

THQ nordic and Heavy Iron said last year that they are partnering again with nick to rerelease old nick games like spongebob or so on the but they said all so that theyre making a new kart racer and must first complete this kart racer game and the nick kart race game released. SO maybe we can dream about any old THQ / Heavy Iron game in the future of the next years;) but that THQ Nordic and Heavy Iron works again is a proof that theyre have a contract with nick.@@minecraftlover555

Step 1 for this trick is to position yourself just right on the 5th dimension in quantum space.
Then fly backwards while jumping on a pogostick to reach this pixel perfect platform that only exists on a full moon but only if the day of the month is divisible by 7.
Step 2 requires you to open unstable wormhole resulting in a supermassive black hole.
Use the gravity of this black hole to fling Spongebob around an invisible barrier thus skipping this area.
This was so interesting! I watched it all the way through. I loved this game when I was little. It was really cool to see the game from a new perspective. Great job on showing us the intriguing things outside the boundaries!
There's also one during Robo Patrick's cutscene. When Squidward and Spongebob are frozen, their character model are immediately placed into the bottom platform below them and were replace with the frozen model of them. They will be missing during the fight until the third phase
I think if there's any game I'd like to see on this series, it would be Viva Pinata. I know the background is likely a lot less detailed than it looks, but I'm super curious to see what the various areas around the garden look like up close, as well as stuff like inside the builder shed or where PInatas go when they enter their home... also if characters like Dastardos hang out on the map, or if they only spawn in when needed

Speedrunning doesn't require ant special talent. Just passion and dedication. The speed community surrounding this game has tons of resources to help you get started if that's something that interests you!
SHiFT that's the problem, dedication. No one who expresses interest in speed running via TH-cam comments ever wants to put in any effort. They just want to be able to do it. Too lazy and impatient.
You'd be surprised at how many great players started just from becoming interested through great videos like this one.
I got pretty decent at speedrunning clustertruck just from watching others do it. All you have to do is try to speedrun to get good, and follow previous strats.

I am quite glad that this episode succeeded since it was a long requested game being featured on the show, based on a popular animated series, a childhood favorite game of many, the game is getting a remake this year and the episode has a big guest star.

hell yeah. i like seeing a behind the scenes look at my favorite and most played game of my childhood. this was truly my version of mario 64 when i was a kid. getting all the spatulas was the proudest accomplishment of my young life.

I personally grew up with the show, not even knowing that this game existed.
I watched the show before I even knew WHAT A VIDEO GAME WAS. Yeah.
Now that TH-cam's evolved into a better-quality watching platform (and that I can watch MORE than one part of the game), I can finally see everything this game has to offer.
And then this video came up in my feed...and WOW, was I blown away.
The game that literally sparked my love for TH-cam has some interesting secrets.
And some of which you can only see by doing Shesez-like things, which this video introduced me to.

I played this for first time when i was 3 years old. Im glad i grew up with cool games. Anyways, im 14 years old now, and i still play battle for bikini bottom sometimes in my softmodded wii, my ps3 broke a year ago and it took my favorite games and memories, so now my wii with faulty controllers, faulty graphic card, is my only option for videogames.
