Also, another fun fact: in 100% speedruns of BfBB we actually exploit the Wack-a-Tiki thing that Shesez covers in this video. same last year i 100%ed this game on my computer on an emulator while playing on a freaking KEYBOARD!! as i dont have access to my ps2 anymore the nostalgia was great, the gameplay was ok, the camera was the worst
one thing you guys could have mentioned that i always found funny as a kid is that if you attack the computer with barnacle boy inside, you can actually see barnacle boys head pop out of the top of the computer

Dude... This game is like the pinnacle of my happiest gaming memories. I remembered the first time playing the PS2 and was blown away by the graphics. New gen + one of my favourite TV shows... remembering the feeling now I was so innocently happy xD
THQ nordic and Heavy Iron said last year that they are partnering again with nick to rerelease old nick games like spongebob or so on the but they said all so that theyre making a new kart racer and must first complete this kart racer game and the nick kart race game released. SO maybe we can dream about any old THQ / Heavy Iron game in the future of the next years;) but that THQ Nordic and Heavy Iron works again is a proof that theyre have a contract with nick.@@minecraftlover555
My favorite part about BFBB (other than playing it for insane amounts of time when I were young) is probably the fact that so much love went into it from the developers. If only more games had the same amount of care and attention nowadays, yeah?
Yeah, especially Tv/movie tie-ins... I remember loving the first spongebob movie game so much, but the second movie game looks really bad and unoriginal. It's a shame, but at least games like BFBB exist as is!

I never smiled so big seeing a TH-cam thumbnail. I would spend hours as a kid playing games just to get a glimpse of an out if bound area, trying regular jumps as far as I could go just to see more. This was one of those games. I'm glad I'm not alone in loving it. I freaking love this channel. It is giving me everything I ever wanted. A lot if ps2 games are very nostalgic for me. One of my favorites is Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I feel like there would be a ton of secrets to discover in that game. There are doors that I NEED to know if there is anything behind and it would just be awesome to see zoom outs of different parts of the castle. And the final boss at the end where the basilisk battle where the snakes goes in and out. I would die a happy camper if I could see all those secrets. Thank you so much for making these videos. It means so much to 12 year old me.
Did you know in jellyfish fields on the slide next to murmaidman you can angle the launch at the end to soar past the ground ur supposed to land on and land out of bounds(all solid) and run all the eay to spongebobs neighhorhood in the far distance and explore it?
I feel exactly the same. As a kid, I would do the same in the SpongeBob Movie video game; I'd jump as high as I could or try running in all these crazy patterns to somehow get to off-the-map areas, haha. I want a video to be made for the SpongeBob Movie video game on this channel...that would blow the mind of 11-year-old me!
Now, I can't even agree more. I'm getting major surges of nostalgia hearing it all. If I could have, like maybe 50 minutes, with my eight year old self again so I can this game all over again, I would, absolutely. This is basically the _best_ (really, the _only_ best) Spongebob game to ever release. This game murders that shitty Flying Dutchman game with almost no effort.
I think if there's any game I'd like to see on this series, it would be Viva Pinata. I know the background is likely a lot less detailed than it looks, but I'm super curious to see what the various areas around the garden look like up close, as well as stuff like inside the builder shed or where PInatas go when they enter their home... also if characters like Dastardos hang out on the map, or if they only spawn in when needed

This game was my childhood, best Spongebob game by far, the open world of the deep blue sea, the soundtrack was awesome. I remember getting this game for Christmas and playing it on the original Xbox for hours.

Speedrunning doesn't require ant special talent. Just passion and dedication. The speed community surrounding this game has tons of resources to help you get started if that's something that interests you!
SHiFT that's the problem, dedication. No one who expresses interest in speed running via TH-cam comments ever wants to put in any effort. They just want to be able to do it. Too lazy and impatient.
I got pretty decent at speedrunning clustertruck just from watching others do it. All you have to do is try to speedrun to get good, and follow previous strats.
Step 1 for this trick is to position yourself just right on the 5th dimension in quantum space. Then fly backwards while jumping on a pogostick to reach this pixel perfect platform that only exists on a full moon but only if the day of the month is divisible by 7. Step 2 requires you to open unstable wormhole resulting in a supermassive black hole. Use the gravity of this black hole to fling Spongebob around an invisible barrier thus skipping this area.

Funny that you mention that, because I never played BFBB, but I _did_ play SBMVG and I noticed that the assets, models, and animations from this game were reused there. Interesting.
There's also one during Robo Patrick's cutscene. When Squidward and Spongebob are frozen, their character model are immediately placed into the bottom platform below them and were replace with the frozen model of them. They will be missing during the fight until the third phase

I had this game on the PS2 as a kid. While you're at it, do Jimmy Neutron Attack of the Twonkies on Boundary Break! That game was my childhood. I had it until the disc got scratched and my PS2 can barely run it anymore!
I love this game so much, and I played it so freaking much as a kid, unfortunately while moving around I lost the disk, so I never could complete the game ;-;
You've got a really enjoyable voice. It's light and cheerful. Also your relaxed demeanor with your script makes these videos feel so natural; like your buddy is right next to you showing these cool tricks he found out. Seeing your financial woes considering you have such an awesome channel with quality content is disappointing. I think you should consider voice acting though. I feel like you would be a hit for cartoons or anime.
I personally grew up with the show, not even knowing that this game existed. I watched the show before I even knew WHAT A VIDEO GAME WAS. Yeah. Now that TH-cam's evolved into a better-quality watching platform (and that I can watch MORE than one part of the game), I can finally see everything this game has to offer. And then this video came up in my feed...and WOW, was I blown away. The game that literally sparked my love for TH-cam has some interesting secrets. And some of which you can only see by doing Shesez-like things, which this video introduced me to. I never thought you could top TF2, but... here you are. Thanks, Shesez.

I personally grew up with the show, not even knowing that this game existed.
I watched the show before I even knew WHAT A VIDEO GAME WAS. Yeah.
Now that TH-cam's evolved into a better-quality watching platform (and that I can watch MORE than one part of the game), I can finally see everything this game has to offer.
And then this video came up in my feed...and WOW, was I blown away.
The game that literally sparked my love for TH-cam has some interesting secrets.
