It is really weird to see the patrick stage being 100% functional, even if the polish is lacking. I really wonder why it was cut. Maybe they literally just forgot it or they decided that they did not have any time left to finish it up.
Probably the latter. But maybe they felt the dream level was getting too long for gameplay balance and cutting Patrick’s portion of it was the best option. From playing the game as a kid, I remember the dream levels taking me far longer than any other part of the game. Almost to the point where it got frustrating and a bit tedious. That could just be the bias of childhood memory, though.

I think it may be based off Brine pools/Undersea lakes which are incredibly toxic to anything that swims into it by sending it into shock and presumably causing it to die then but regardless, I wouldn't be surprised if Goo lagoon is based off a brine pool considering Stephen IS a Marine Biologist and as someone with a huge love for Marine biology myself, I think that's really neat

There were two spin-off games of Wallace & Gromit that are both REALLY good. However I think that they both have lots of unused content, because when you finish "Wallace & Gromit In Project Zoo", there are two item slots that are still empty. This would mean two ENTIRE LEVELS would have been scrapped, as you get a weapon in most levels. If you did a lost bits video on these two UNDERRATED games, I’d be really happy! I’ve had Spongebob:Battle For Bikini Bottom on the PlayStation 2 For the longest time (est.2005) and I’m going to get my preorder from gamestop for SB:BFBB Rehydrated tomorrow (June/23/2020) and I got it for the PlayStation 4 Version for two (2) reasons: 1.Because It’s a nice game tribute to my original PlayStation 2 copy I have ever since I was a little kid 2.Im familiar with PlayStation Line of consoles so I preorder it for the PS4 (at gamestop) instead for the other Consoles (btw I love Nintendo too but I thought it would be fitting to get for the PS4) I never knew there was this much unused content in one of my favorite Childhood games and it’s super cool to see what could have been,this video was super cool to watch and brings me back memories :)
