Why I Left Long Island...

I ended up leaving Long Island! This is why I decided to leave:
Lots of traffic, Stores close early, weather and much more!

😆 all the reasons why you moved away are the same reasons of why I love long island, except for the traffic obviously. I love this place so much and look forward to moving back there when my husband is done with the military. Right now we're in the middle of nowhere Kansas and gosh do I miss LI. ❤

I moved away for the similar reason; Moved from Suffolk to LIC for 2 years with my wife. We had a blast being so close to bars, restaurants and NYC. Also allowed me to level up my career so much faster! Now we're ready to come back and settle back into suburbia. 100% don't regret it for a second!
I also agree with your point about attitude; NYers are kind but not friendly lol

Long Island is over, taxes are high and a lot of abandoned commercial buildings, businesses are leaving. Long Island City is the coolest part of Queens close to Manhattan.
