- In this video I will attempt to connect an iPhone and a T-Mobile Sidekick in order to trade photos taken with each phone's respective cameras.

Isn't it crazy how slow Micro USB was and how long it took to transfer a single music file? But back then, we were just happy that we were able to have music on our phones at all lol. It used to take what seemed like forever if you wanted to transfer an entire average album of 8-12 songs. Now with USB C, we no sooner hit the send or transfer or move button, and it's done right now, not four seconds from now, but right now.
That iPhone was trying to figure out what the hell was happening 😂😂😂
I constantly reconsider searching for a sidekick (2008 gecko, lx, and or Motorola models). Mind you I'm still using my Blackberry Passport Silver edition now in 2019 as a daily driver. Keyboards kick ass.
They need to bring this back asap just updated and bigger screen and camera

I sold that months ago after making the video. Check eBay. There was a guy out of New York that was selling then unused. He had a ton.
Will It Work? Thank you for replying! I did find him. Even tho the trackballs are not fully functioning on the ones he has left I still will probably buy. Do you know a way to fix those? They aren’t selecting he says but everything else works.

Michael Klean yeaa, I gotta Nokia 7360 from ther last year. Refurbished at best. Type in “sidekick” in the search bar on offerup and it should pop up, his is like new, all original
I had the 3 & lx they were great phones sadly they didn’t evolve with the times.

1:05 Never knew that Catharine Zeta-Jones was a spokesperson for this phone (as I am from Australia), also in that illustration her hair looks to be still short from when she played Velma Kelly in Chicago (it's also the only movie I have seen her in)

I doubt that will happen for the iPhone. Of the file systems the iPhone supports, the only optical media that would work is HFS+ (Mac OS Extended). That was used in the 2000's for Apple OS disks and some of their software like iLife and iWork. Just a handful of disks, and nothing you'd want to attach to the iPhone. Now, if Apple added ISO 9660 to supported file systems, then it would make sense to add the USB optical media subclass.
could it be done with an iPod Photo?

Is your iPhone updated to iOS 13? Is it at least a Sidekick 3? Do you have the USB 3 to lighting adapter? Does the Sidekick has a SD card inserted under the battery?
