I'm planning to go in May and spend the day biking if it doesnt get cancelled. Havent been since 2003. French food is not filling, I need more healthy doses. The sandwich looks better than the octopus. I will live off the bakeries. Had great one in St Pierre when I visited recently

I love Paris! I’m so jealous that you made it Du Pain. I really wanted to go there but the only day available to go was when it was closed. But I did explore that neighborhood though which was nice. At the dinner place was that duck? There duck (well all the food) in Paris is so fresh! And that sandwich looked magnificent!
What the heck is on your plate. I know you said it was octopus but what else was with it? I have never seen anything like that before. My mouth was watering thinking that sandwich was a veggie but then all of fresh cheese and the prosciutto came out. That was a masterpiece of food art. Your wife did a great job at playing Peek A Boo. Hahaha. 😂
On the octopus they put a delicious sauce made with veggies, there was some garlic and parsley for sure, plus other stuff! I know that sandwich was a masterpiece!
Great to see another side of Paris, we haven't been for 10 years (actually our first trip trip together!) When we eventually get back - I'd love to check out some of those quirky bars!
@@DreamyTravelStory So easy to forget the things close bby, we are the same in the UK, when we return we will make more of an effort with seeing more of the UK. So far we are enjoying it. Bucharest is a really cool city and atm we are in the countryside for a week or so. Where are you guys atm?
