Hope you made it

There is factory rear camber adjustment. The rear camber bolt adjust up to -2.3. I adjust this to the factory max of -2.3 for rear clearance. I’m running 265/35/18 on 18/9.5 +38 wheels and no rubbing in the back. Also running Faction Fab FR coilovers measured at 25 mm in rear and 30 mm in the front. I daily it 100 miles a day. Just saying there is factory rear camber adjustment.
Looking good as always. 👌🏾
This is the best color. Sad we didnt have it in canada when i got mine.
Got like halfa foot in north jersey.
Hi there, I don’t know if you know the answer to this or not, but I’ve looked on the forums and Reddit and no one seems to know the answer. Are you familia with the 2018 STI Type RA Blistein struts, I’m looking for JDM pink springs that will fit those struts. I’ve heard that those springs are good for handling and lower the car a bit. Can you advice please.
Thanks for sharing your overall setup! I have a quick question, what measurement are you running for your coilovers? I'm installing mine next week and I am trying to figure out what ride heights are people using. (How many inches is your coilovers, what finger gap) thank you in advance!
25” from ground to fender all around.
hey, I know you not doing vids on the sti anymore, but can you let me know if you ever needed a bump steer kit, when you lowered the car. is it a must install in lowered cars or not? and thank you for any responses. by the way I go to RT tunning as well.
I never had one on the car
I’m in love with the fitment you have, hopefully u can respond but what size rims are you running and tire brand?

@@Autofreakgarage thank youuuuu
I'm praying that green is for tein but I'm willing to bet its fortune auto.
I knew it. FA FTW.
Tein makes decent coilovers for the money.
@@ashishpatel350 I know FA is the usual recommend set for track stars. I also know TEIN isn't what it used to be but for the price and my objective they seem like the happy medium between track suspension and shitty springs.
Coilovers still solid I expect?
th-cam.com/video/yub8K54Vc18/w-d-xo.html
Hey bro just installed coilover and it’s pretty low to me and always bumps on the road what’s your coils height, thanks
th-cam.com/video/ktkDWmoVaOk/w-d-xo.html
What do you do for work?
What's the intro song?
Sorry I know the video is pretty old but after lowering the car have you ever felt a need for a roll center correction kit, something like the white line kit KCA313? Trying to decide if the car needs it after I install coil overs on it soon. Thanks!
Nope never needed it. Got some rear lca’a, but that’s it.
@@Autofreakgarage sounds good appreciate you and all your knowledge!
Do you have any rigid collars installed? And how often do you lubricate the sway bar bushings if at all?
I do not. Not specific mileage. If I hear any noises, I’ll add more. It’s been silent since I’ve installed though.
What damper set up did you fortune auto puts it at 5 did you adjust the damper?
I have it set at 18 all around.
great video, now having a DD. Are you considering going for more power
Yes
have you ever ran the Tein coilovers? I just got a set of wheels/tires and now i’m looking into the coil overs, if so how is it?
Never ran teins.
@@Autofreakgarage will be getting the fortune autos you’re running, i’m planning to lower it a litty tiny bit lol. Due to my driveway, it barely makes it on stock height.
i got a set of wheels , they are 18x9.0+30 abs will be getting a 245/40/18 tire. Do you think this will be fine? Or is there anything you would advise me to do.
thanks in advance! I’m new to all this Lol.
go 265/35/18…also if youre dropping it a teeny tiny bit id say run the rce yellow lowering springs. the STi shocks are just too OP. If you arent spending over 2.5k in coilovers, stock just handles way better.
does it remain the same performance in deep snow as stock suspension
also, the ride high in snow, does it bother you a lot?
It handles very well in snow, but being lower does limits your clearance. Thankfully I don’t drive this car in the snow so I do not have to worry about it.
where and what's the carbon fiber hoodscoop from? I'm thinking of suspensions but the roads are horrible over here. how many cm did you drop it ? ty
I’m not sure the difference from stock.
th-cam.com/video/jRe18PLUzIY/w-d-xo.html
What settings fo you typically run on the Coilovers when hitting the twisties? How many clicks front and rear? Curious what you do with the addition of the rear sway bar and strut mounts
18 front and rear. I’ve tried many different combos. I found 18 to be the best compromise between comfort and performance. Remember I am in 7k springs as well. If I was on the default 8k, I would probably be around 15.
@@Autofreakgarage thanks! Yeah i have the fortune auto with swift springs but 8k on my STI. And running a whiteline rear sway bar, Kartboy endlinks and cusco LCAs. Looking at getting the Perrin front brace front brace. Thanks for the quick reply! Love your ride man!
Hey man what Fog Light set up is that. I have a 2020 STI and been looking for the same ones you have.
th-cam.com/video/tGAclIoBezI/w-d-xo.html
What u think about hks hipermax S??
Never experienced them so I can't say. I know a few people that run them and are happy with them.
@@Autofreakgarage also one more thing, my 2021 STi currently have just 4k mileage and started squealing smh so annoying. And also why is brake pads in the front both left and right….kinda angled….kinda look like uneven wear….but the rear is even
Hey bro I dont think i asked you this yet but do you think ill be okay for now with lowering on the stock lca”s with my 2020 sti? Im going to still be sittin on the stock 19”s for a little while. Currently have cygnus performance building me a sweet set of fortune autos. But just wondering if ill be okay for now without having to roll the rears or swap the lca’s rifht away. Probably not going lower than MAX 2” .
You’ll be fine
Curious on the rear LCA , what camber did u end up with ? I’m on same set up but cause of my ride height -3.0 camber and eating up tires , trying to get to -2 or -1.5 super pro LCA get u there ?
I’m at -3.7
Bro the link for the suspensión?
Thanks!!

@@Autofreakgarage Thanks bro! Love your car!! 🙏
Anytime you wana cruise with a brother from PA hit me up
Does the STI corner as firm and as well as stock? Or does 7k springs mean more body roll?
It means softer rebound. Less jarring hits when going over bumps. It is flat with no body roll.
@@Autofreakgarage Thank you for the quick reply! So 8k is stock and just a little stiffer on bounces? 7k is better for daily or passenger comfort? Is 8k (or higher) better for racing because it just settles faster?
Higher the spring rate, rougher the ride. I don’t know what the stock spring is rated at.
Did you roll your own rear fenders?
That’s the one thing I don’t like to do in my own. I had a professional do it.
I’m with you. I have a ‘15 wrx with zero suspension mods but looking into some fortune auto or hks coil overs. Did you consider hks for coilovers? If so, what made you ultimately decide on fortune auto? To add, do you rub at all even despite the rolled fenders?
Hks does not come with camber plates. And they are made overseas. Fortune auto is made in USA so rebuild times are quick snd easy.
No running anywhere on the car.
Hey guys my 15 WRX is long gone but I ran ISC N1s here in MA. I can't begin to describe how amazing these were on that chassis. I've had an S4 on Ohlins, BMWs (e46 on Bilstein pss10 and also m235 on KW v3s). That 15 WRX on ISC N1s was the best ride/handling combo I have ever run. And comes with camber plates and can be had for under $1k.
What lip kit are you running
th-cam.com/video/AwnVwym5lXg/w-d-xo.html
What kind of charger using to charge your battery’s car ?
I was just about to pick up a new one. The one I have was one I used 10 years ago on my m3. Seems like it’s on it last leg.
@@Autofreakgarage I want to buy one for my STI and there is a lot of brand on Amazon I don’t know which one is the best.
Thanks
Y u need charge ur battery? Is it because it is sitting too long?
Yes if the car sits to long without being turned on, the battery can die. Keeping it on a tender will keep the battery charged.
@@oboys1502 yes I use the car on the weekends, it’s not for daily drive.
Are you running 255/40/18?
265/35
