Wait so Devs expect players to be their own NPC's, but NPC's can have very different approaches on life and be violent towards certain races, as that's part of the world of Fallout, but then they ban people on grounds of making their own story the way they were expected to in this game? What?...
Yeah, I remember in fallout 3 when a good portion of wastelanders hated non-feral ghouls. Hell, the brotherhood of steel was built around two large concepts. Collect and preserve technology and cleanse the wasteland of all non-humans. If you substitute the word gay for ghoul every time it comes up in that video they might as well be actual brotherhood of steel npcs.

Probably, rampant homosexuality could theoretically slow down wasteland repopulation, which would be a high priority matter I imagine. If public displays were strongly discouraged, at least some would likely have a cover family to ward off suspicion and do their part in making 'murica great again, the stakes are high enough for sure and it worked well enough before.
