Not only a great tight end as a receiver, he was a fantastic run blocker and pass blocker.

If they told him as a rookie that the only way he could play football was as an offensive lineman he would've taken a few months to put on about 30 or 40 pounds and then had a hall-of-fame career as either a tackle, center or guard.

How about the play when he jump over the field goal post, it was amazing. He jump so high, and caught the ball as he was flying through the center of the goal post... he landed in the third row, in the end zone. Watch that one, in slow motion,,,,,,,,,, 🤓🤓🤔

As great as he was, I still say we only really got one season of what he could have been. He was still a hall of famer after TJ Ward took out his knee. But he was the greatest tight end ever in 2011.
Also a crime against football that they didn't go back to him for the 2pt conversion in 2015.

The touchdown against the Colts should be #1 imho. Gronk's ball handling, shifting the ball from either arm to shield the ball from the defender, while also applying a stiff arm is absolute gold. Also with his footwork and tenacity, is an absolute master class. Pop Warner / Little Lad, and HS and college coaches should show this score to all of their players. This is how football should be played!

No one could believe it until you see it. No one could tackle him, it was so funny funny, and he made catches, that tight ends are not suppose to make. These catches here, are after Gronk broke his forearm. And played with protective gear on his arm. Good video,,,
