    It’s actually says a lot when you’ve played the literal most snaps and most games in nfl history and you still have one of your 100 best plays of your career in the last game you’ve ever played.
    Brady has played and started in the most games at 333, the most dropped backs at 12,615, and been involved in the most plays at 22,773. That means he was still good enough to literally make a play that was better than 99.2% of his career plays in his final game at 45. 🐐

    • @roland7584
      @roland7584 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      @@ProdTrxce I don't think what he's done will ever be repeated. The offense kept retooling and he kept dealing regardless of who was in the offense. He knew how to win, and he never got bored. Most humans lose focus after a handful of years, and that's very evident in the NFL or any sport for most players. I'm not even a Brady fan but I can't stop looking at how he dominated a team sport in so many different ways. It's pretty much impossible to do what he did, and he wasn't even wanted. The expectations were so low for this guy that if somehow the Rams beat him in Superbowl 36, he might not even be the starter the next season. Instead, he drives them for a winning field goal, and for most qb's, they become one hit wonders after a situation like that. Instead, every time the league thought he was done, he kept coming back better. His accomplishments in 3 individual phases of his career could put him in a top 10 conversation for best qb without even looking at his entire career. It's mind boggling.

    Tom Brady was the most lethal QB we’ve seen. His ability to systematically pick the defense apart, play after play, is so fun to watch. The fact that the #1 play is actually a drive perfectly symbolizes that. Mahomes is creating history in his own right, on his own path, but we will never see someone like Brady again.

    It's an irreparable crime that we only got to see one year of Brady and Moss. Sure they technically still had Moss in '09 but Brady was coming back from a major injury and Moss was nearing his end. It's rare to see a top 3 all time receiver matched with a top 3 all time QB. Moss and Brady, Montana and Rice, here's hoping Burrow and Chase take off or Jefferson gets a generational QB somehow.

      I wonder what could have been if he had a hall famer WR from the start. Patriots is also smart by not dumping their money on Hof wr instead invest its money on defense and o.line. all they want is a capable wr that can a ball and know his route.

    • @themauler1599
      @themauler1599 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@onyxblack1167 Every team has different goals and the Patriots want a stout defense and ball control offense. To do that you need a good O-line and serviceable skill positions coupled with a QB that's great at decision making. The modern NFL cuts back a bit on O-line because of players Like Mahomes who can extend plays forever with their legs but not every QB can do that. In fact only one QB can be Patrick Mahomes. But even then you can't have your guy running for his life, case and point the entire 2022 season for the Bucs or the Bucs vs. Chiefs Superbowl. Both situations where legendary QBs could not produce because the O-line was swiss cheese. I agree the Patriots are doing it wrong, because everyone can see that, but Bill needs to bite the bullet, admit Mac isn't Tom, and pay an actual receiver instead of JuJu 4 years after he was relevant. You can't get HoF production out of a rookie and dollar store receivers. Maybe cut a little bit of money from that linebacker core that does well no matter who you throw in there and funnel it towards a D-Hop or a draft pick that could turn into a Terry McLaurin. You can't keep taking rejects. In fact Bill takes so many rejects the Patriots might trade for Jerry Jeudy.

In the 90’s I watched Young, Aikman, Manning and a host of other great QBs play. Then the 2000’s came and it brought Brees, Rodgers, Roethlisberger, and Brady.
    For 20+ seasons I got to watch Brady play and prove all the naysayers who wrote him off wrong. He’s the ultimate underdog story, drafted 199 and kept as the fourth QB on the depth chart to breaking records, playing more seasons than anyone said he could, and winning more Superbowl rings than any franchise in the league has. Now the GOAT is retired and the game just isn’t the same for me anymore.
