Hi there, I used the tripod from Xbot. It is the biggest they have in their list. Here is the link: xbotgo.com/collections/accessories/products/xbotgo-t4-tripod-set-aluminum-alloy-13ft. You can try using my discount code DVYBZ420 if you decide to purchase it. All the best to you! ✌
@@LarryMorris-x5f First, open the XbotGo app and choose your recording mode, then click start. Now your are going to see what the camera sees and above the big red recording button you will find the "live TURN ON" button. Click on it and press ok. Now click "third party stream" or simply look for the youtube button. Now, you need to go to your youtube channel and click on the camera icon on top of the right corner, next to the bell. Click on the camera symbol and then "Go live" option. Now copy the stream key and stream url. Finally paste them in the XbotGo app at the stream settings and you're able to go live now. I hope this helped you 👍
@@LarryMorris-x5f but yes, you can watch the live stream on youtube if the person who wants to stream the game, follows the steps I wrote above. You can live stream on facebook too for example
The maximum height of the tripod I used in the video is something around 4.50 meters tall and to be very safe 4 meters. The AI lens of the XbotGo Chameleon is there just to capture the action as much as possible, hence the wide angle lens... but technically the zooming is still by your phone. Therefore the quality of the footage is strongly related to the quality of your phone camera. So the zooming works together with the phone and the XbotGo. The phones that work with the XbotGo chameleon need to have anyway either iOS 15 or Android 10 version, so usually these types of phones have a good camera and zoom quality as well. I hope I could help you.
thanks for the review. With a soccer match if i want to track a particular player but also the game as a whole how would i do this? does it have this functionality?
Hi there, if you want to track a particular player you have to select the ''Follow me'' mode and then click on ''Jersey number''. This way you will have only one specific player in the focus of the XbotGo. So the way this thing works is basically analyzing the entire image (on football mode for example) and it keeps up with the entire action following the players and the ball. Watch this video... this is football game filmed in real time with no editing whatsoever: th-cam.com/video/-axE_V-YI50/w-d-xo.html So I think the closest way to film the entire game but also a specific player at the same time, is by choosing ''Follow me'' mode and then ''Jersey number'' or simply start a ''Follow me'' mode filming session before starting the football match and the Xbot will follow that particular person, zooming in our out and paning to keep that person in frame. I hope this helped you a bit. Thanks a lot for watching!🙏
@@Dvybz so with the "follow me" and "jersey number" setting it's focus will always be on that specific player but it would zoom out to catch the entire play if that person doesn't have the ball or is away from the action (if I'm understanding correctly). I basically want to film my son playing with the focus to be on him and his positioning but at the same time I want to be able to see the game as a whole as much as possible to put his positioning into context with the game play
@@TheoManifavas I completely understand what you are saying. If you use the Follow me mode you are on the safe side that the Xbot will follow the player at all times, zooming in and out. It will not get stuck just on zoomed in or zoomed out position, but it will rather switch between zoomed on where the action is and the game as a whole. You can try to do the same procedure by using follow me mode and additionaly the jersey number mode. I didn't have the chance to film a football match with many players as you could see in the video, but if I were you I would try the follow me mode alone, follow me mode plus the jersey number and the football mode. This way you can see what works best for you. So, you could order the Xbot using my coupon code for the discount and IF it does not suits your needs or you are not happy with the results you can still send the product back and receive your money 👍. I think you will be pleased with it tho.
Yes, I recorded a football and basketball match with the camera. It works well and it follows the players. The camera doesn't really follow the ball alone but more the player and the ball and it intuitively tries to follow the action. In football mode it's not really zooming in on the players. I guess they still have some work to do. The best is to use follow me mode. That's the smoothest and nicest way to film a game or yourself.
The XbotGo Chameleon is designed for tracking athletes and sports activities using AI-driven technology. While it excels at following athletes in sports like basketball, soccer, and rugby, its focus is on human-centered tracking, using features like player movement, jersey recognition, and trajectory analysis. It is not explicitly designed to track fast-moving objects like RC cars or planes, which might require different tracking parameters such as faster response times and more complex 3D movement recognition. That being said, the system does have a 360-degree panoramic tracking capability and can follow movements from up to 50 meters away, making it technically possible for it to track some RC objects under certain conditions, such as slower speeds or more predictable movement patterns. However, for high-speed or agile objects like RC planes, its AI may struggle to maintain accurate tracking. If you're specifically looking to track RC cars or planes, a device specialized for such high-speed, small-object tracking might be more suitable. I hope I could help you. Thanks for watching!
That's a valid point, man. Look, this product is definitely the best out there on the market in terms of AI tracking cameras, but they ain't yet that developed. I am already pretty sure if I start a self tracking test and I move 300 yards away from the camera, that the gimbal won't be able to recognize me anymore, let alone follow me. You have to keep in mind that the mobile phone camera is the one that films you and zooms in and out. The AI lens of the XbotGo chameleon is just there to recognize the motiv/person/player moving. Both versions of XbotGo are basically there to KINDA replace a person filming you. As long as the action happens within a reasonable distance (I assume 0-70 yards) the camera is able to identifiy and film you. I think 100 yards might be doable, but I never tested it out. I might do it cause I am curious as well. Thank you for commenting.

I’m sorry, but a review of an AI tracking product meant for sports teams that doesn’t actually show any clips of it tracking a player during team play is a failure. It makes it seem like it’s still not ready for actual use and just a marketing gimmick. The 5 Seconds of the half court team during warm-up is nowhere near conclusive nor actually showing off with this should be able to do.
