Kubota Landpride Destroyed Gear Box! we finally open up the gear box to find out what went wrong, we have more videos on replacing this gear box it was Cheaper to Replace the gear box than buy the individual parts for a rebuild!!!

In case you don't know: the higher the gear box HP rating the heavier duty the cutter is. I've got: JD MX-6, JD MX-8 (3 gear boxes) and a bush hog 6'. Smallest rating on any of the gear boxes is well over 100 HP. A mower with a 40 HP gear box is definitely grass only: avoid cutting brush.

Yeah I try to stick to the smaller stuff then head out with my excavator to rip everything else out by the roots, but sometimes I think I can go bigger that's when I get in trouble 😂🤣 good info and thank you for watching!👍😊
