Maybe get a few AirTags to leave in some of your more high value cars just as a sort of temporary tracker untill the vehicle is sold? In case anything like this happens again
What car dealer gives keys to a customer unattended, I don't think the insurance would have paid out as it's like when you leave keys in your car they say it's your fault

This stinks, guys had both sets of keys, no details left for test drive, no log to say what route they'd drive it on and they just give the car back instead of burning it out? It just stinks like viral attempts
Not saying it isn’t a set up but they weren’t given permission to take the car out or given trade plates. They unplugged the battery charger and off they went. What makes me think it was a set up is that they were left unattended with the keys to an expensive car and the rather relaxed approach to it all, I don’t care who you are you’d be a lot more aggravated about the situation than he was.
I'm not being that guy blaming the victim Calv, but please get some auto shutters on your entrance gate. When a test drive is arranged you'd have a log of name and addresses with id, and you'd let them out with a fob. I'm so pleased you got it back a few days later when it happened. Happened to me yesterday, audi S4 Avant... was given keys to start up and fiddle while they dealt with a customer for an hour it is a no pressure sales approach performance car dealers employ it happens at nearly every dealership bro 🤣🤣
I'm a shop manager and I've yet to see someone matching their desciption NOT be a massive thief. They're only in this country because they know they can get away with that kind of thing here, that's not me discriminating, that's what they'll tell you themselves if you ever get em detained. There’s a reason for this… I had a friend who was a bit of a naughty boy back in the day. One evening he stole a car, the police chased him and it turned bad and he sadly lost his life. He was one of my best friends when I was a kid, he might’ve made some bad decisions as he got older but his core was good. These lads could be good lads just making stupid decisions. When my car got stolen I thought about my friend. I’m glad the boys didn’t hurt themselves.

Yeah. Got to say I am not happy to hear Calvin has done nothing to them. At minimum he should have provided their details to the police. If they did it to Calvin they have done it to other people and I GUARANTEE they will do it to someone else. From someone who had there car stolen from their drive in the past your reaction in the first part of the video was truly genuine. I never felt the same about the car when I got it back. I understand what you’re trying to do at Binca, and I respect it, you make buying a car and viewing it as easy as possible for the customer but there will be those who always abuse your goodness. I've had test drives where I've been given the keys to take the car out for a spin, I was even informed of a busy and potentially dangerous road to avoid by the dealer. 20 minutes later, I came back and purchased the car. So it does happen, it's an old school and trusting way of selling a car, but these days yes there are a lot of thieves. Glad you got it back mate!

Police aren't interested so iv been going around trying to trace the car that stole it on all different cctv on businesses around the area. But only got so far. Told the police loads of information but still don't want to know. Just going through insurance now.
You should show their faces, or else some other poor guy without a large social media following will have their car stolen by them and won’t get it back. Do the right thing and pass the details to the police.

How do you give a total stranger keys to a car without any of your staff going out with them on the drive. That’s crazy & why would the insurance pay out when a member of staff handed over the key? .
Exactly. Any test drive I’ve ever been on, they want you to leave your license or take a copy of it. They want you to sign an insurance document. They usually wait round with the keys or unlock it and leave you to look around. Handing over keys to people it just asking for cars to get knicked.
Calv is a genuine & positive guy and trusted people, You just don’t expect that to happen unfortunately, definitely get that gate, on a remote so you can let people in & out
i went to Luton last week to view a mercedes E55 AMG on facebook market place, got a moody address and when i phoned the seller up to say that i'm here ... romainians turned up in the car 3 man up, opened up the bonnet it stunk of oil, looked inside the header tank water bottle it was full of mayonaise, the fella gave me a cock and bull story, me and my pal just walked off and got in our car and drove off, NEVER again will i go to luton to buy a car again.
So maybe start a second channel for other people that get there car stolen and with your social media connections you could get a lot of stolen cars returned to there owners ! Have a think about it Calvin you could be onto something here I feel your the man for the job 👍👊
I recommend as a car sales executive who has worked for main dealerships all my life, just a small change which I recommend is do a license check + Check code + proof of address check before letting anyone go on test drive. Thats how dealerships do it, they do online checks on drivers license etc, then give the keys for test drive. Try that Calvin ive been watching your content for years on all my devices and it hurts to even imagine what you went through when the m3 got taken

Next time I'm in MK area I'll pop in and have a chat. Got something incredibly affordable that you'll be interested in to stop this ever happening again, especially for high value items. Won't mention specifics as it's security related. Also, anger is useful sometimes if you can direct that energy into something productive. For me it was moving some 3m long 50kg awkward pallets by myself the other day. Got it done and you feel stronger when angry, it's great. No point smashing things or people up though, unless it's at a BJJ Gym or something haha
Please check if they didn’t install any tracker in it and clone the keys. As it might disappear from the new owner when it’s sold. Great that you got your m3 back 🫡🫡
I believe by having trust in the majority you achieve more than you would if you didn’t. Of the 10,000+ cars that we’ve sold only one has gone missing but we got it back. All 10,000 of those people appreciate how trustworthy we are. It definitely goes a long way. I’ve considered change but I’ve not concluded much yet.
Just thinking Calv....how about changing your in/out security at Binca? Get those one way ramps going in and then a security barrier going out again released in the office. Will be a lot more secure

As a Romanian myself i can say that you are right,there are alot of us unfortunattely who embarass our country by doing proper dodgy and shamefull stuff,but on the other side the good ones are truly one of a kind and we are trying to clean our comunity name by being totally respectfull,hard workers with good education and common sense,like everywhere on earth and in every country you will find good ppl and bad ppl,guilty ones should be responsible and pay for their acts😊

How do you give a total stranger keys to a car without any of your staff going out with them on the drive. That’s crazy & why would the insurance pay out when a member of staff handed over the key? .

Exactly. Any test drive I’ve ever been on, they want you to leave your license or take a copy of it. They want you to sign an insurance document.
They usually wait round with the keys or unlock it and leave you to look around.

i went to Luton last week to view a mercedes E55 AMG on facebook market place, got a moody address and when i phoned the seller up to say that i'm here ... romainians turned up in the car 3 man up, opened up the bonnet it stunk of oil, looked inside the header tank water bottle it was full of mayonaise, the fella gave me a cock and bull story, me and my pal just walked off and got in our car and drove off, NEVER again will i go to luton to buy a car again.

I recommend as a car sales executive who has worked for main dealerships all my life, just a small change which I recommend is do a license check + Check code + proof of address check before letting anyone go on test drive. Thats how dealerships do it, they do online checks on drivers license etc, then give the keys for test drive. Try that Calvin ive been watching your content for years on all my devices and it hurts to even imagine what you went through when the m3 got taken

Next time I'm in MK area I'll pop in and have a chat. Got something incredibly affordable that you'll be interested in to stop this ever happening again, especially for high value items. Won't mention specifics as it's security related.
Also, anger is useful sometimes if you can direct that energy into something productive. For me it was moving some 3m long 50kg awkward pallets by myself the other day. I believe by having trust in the majority you achieve more than you would if you didn’t. Of the 10,000+ cars that we’ve sold only one has gone missing but we got it back. All 10,000 of those people appreciate how trustworthy we are. It definitely goes a long way. I’ve considered change but I’ve not concluded much yet.
