Glenbrook Vintage Railways "Harvest Festival

During Auckland Anniversary weekend ‪@glenbrookvintagerailway1038‬ participated in the Franklin "Harvest Festival".
The resident ex NZR Ww steam locomotives were the motive power in action during the weekend, with the two DBR's and the DE on static display.
Ww480 hauled passenger carriages on the Saturday and Sunday, with Ww 690 hauling a mixed goods on the Sunday. The mixed goods was a common sight on rural branch lines.
Due to the rain on the Sunday Ww 690 had trouble regaining traction after coming to a stop while waiting on a signal for permission to enter the Glenbrook Vintage Railway depot. The experienced engineers and firemen on Ww 690 regained traction, and Ww 690 entered the Glenbrook yard.
