    I’ve been using the Soon Jung Cica balm for the past 2 winters and it worked perfectly for my combination/oily skin that gets super flaky during the cold seasons. It’s super cheap too 😁

    Excellent video! I love how you spoke in layman terms and didn't just read off of the website or box throughout the whole video. Definitely important for those who are unfamiliar with the products and want to learn more. Very thorough and detailed. Keep up the great work!

      Go for the Etude House one, I also have combination skin and products that are lighter will always be better because they won't break out my oily T-zone and I can always add more moisture to my dry areas in other parts of my skincare routine.

    A good moisturizer has humectants, emollients and occlusives. But I do wonder sometimes wether these more gel like balms, have enough occlusives. I only see humectants and emollients.

    • @JOOHKY
      @JOOHKY  4 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      You make a very good point in questioning whether these gel like products have enough occlusives or not.
      When looking at the ingredients of these products its true that they appear to contain mostly humectants and emollients, but from my understanding many humectants and some emollients have occlusive properties such as Lecithin, shea butter, Squalane, and Beeswax.
      From looking at all the products mentioned in this video, all of them contain Lecithin.
      So far, from what I see in addition to Lecithin, Soonjung 5- Panthensoside Cica Balm also has Squalane, and Cicapair's Tiger Grass Cream also contains Shea Butter and Beeswax, which are occlusive ingredients.

      Hi wassup,
      Cica Balm is a product that is made of Cica ingredient.
      Cica is is short for Centella Asiatica, a green that's both eaten and commonly used as a medicinal herb in Asia.
      The main effects of Cica are soothing, decreases moisture loss, calm redness and also hydrate.
      So Cica balms have these effects that is especially great for sensitive skin, skin troubles or reddish skin.
