Rolling Thunder (ローリングサンダー Rōringu Sandā) is a side-scrolling action game produced by Namco (now known as Bandai Namco Entertainment) originally released in as a coin-operated arcade game which ran on the Namco System 86 hardware. It was distributed internationally outside Japan by Atari Games. The player takes control of a secret agent who must rescue his female partner from a terrorist organization. Rolling Thunder was released for various computer platforms in 1987 and the Family Computer and Nintendo Entertainment System in 1989. The original arcade game has also been included in various classic game compilations as well. - เกม

I was 8 years old when this came out in the arcade and I've been racking my brain trying to remember the name for decade's and finally today after research I got it. This is taking me back to the good old days.😫

There are emulators online. Just google the websites and play these games online. Every single NES and Super Nintendo game is now online as well as the other classic consoles like SEGA and Atari@@392_RHINO

I've thought about this game on and off for years, I could never remember the name! My dad had an original Xbox, this was part of a classic bundle you could get, and I played this over and over! I was maybe 8 or 9, and I wasn't too good at games yet but I've always remembered the look and style of the first level. Thank you for this! This brings back the fun memories I had with my dad.

This is among my fav 15 arcade games. The music & smooth movement (& the uzi) is what I remembered most. 👍

My childhood flashing before me in 18:25. I remember playing this in the summer of 1987, this and Stickball all day long.
Colour me impressed! I played this way back in the 80's and never managed to finish it! Great run through!
I'm just happy to see the ending. After spending a million quarters I actually made it, but he killed me so fast every time I just finally gave up.

Dude this guy has to make the game I was 10 or 11 when this game came out and I made it past level 1 once or twice ! After about $50 bucks!

One of my favorite games Namco ever made I got Namco museum 50th anniversary for ps2 and I play it a lot but maboo gives me the creeps still to this day I wish they'd reboot this though for next gen I would buy it in a heartbeat

Just read about Davy Gallon ko'ing former UFC fighter, Ross Pearson, with a "rolling thunder kick" and the first thing that came to my mind was this video game.

here's one for you maybe IF even a handful of people, and that of which i've shown..i played this game SO much that i dreamt of it...weird part is.. ok.. the dream told me to go to the boxes where 7:43 is...what you do, is take the upper level, line up with the boxes to just a hair into them at the very edge of the ledge that will allow you to jump down.. so when you land, youll be sorta stuck into them, now continue to jump to the right AS YOU HOLD RIGHT... dont just JUMP, but hold right as you do it.... if you do it correctly youll end up behind the scenes sort of...the enemies will shoot and punch but nothing will harm you but you can them BUT>. IF you high jump.. youll then be vulnerable....very effin strange yes , and i swear this all is what a dream told me, and as i did it, ill be damned if i had come to have known, it worked...this only works on the arcade version as far as i know...this trick lead me into one of the few true shining moments in my life....bbasicly reds novelty, a coin slot company vendor for arcade games etc.. always delivered the newest games to our local sweet shop.. so we gt rolling thunder wwayyy before aladdins castle, which was the more popular gaming place in the 80s...So, they get thunder, and i was there, and watched the guy whom delivered it, play an example game.... he got to level 4.. and i asked, cuz i had beaten this game already...is that all you got?,, he said for me to do better...needless to say, on the first day of that games arrival at alladins, it was not only beat, but the trick at 7:43 revealed....but, cuz i did it so fast, idk who noticed.. alot of wtf, if anything else... anyways yeah.. should you run into this in the arcade give it a shot..

Please someone beat this on default settings. Every play through I’ve seen changes them to extend timer and make game easier! I’ll try to do it myself
so in that last scene, are the "bad guys" fighting amongst themselves (in between trying to orchestrate evil sh*t)...
DID THE GUY PLAYING THIS GAME CREATE IT??? HE RUNS THROUGH THIS GAME WITH NO MIS STEPS. I was 10 when this game was out I made it past level 1!! only 4 or 5 times total!! It's funny it's the predesssor of so many games just the left to right scroll with a jump and attack button .like RussianAttack but I think it was spelled "RUSH'N ATTACK , OBVIOUSLY SHINOBI IS SAME GAME WITH A FASTER PROCESSOR.
