    The benefits of these kinds of longboards is that you know exactly where your feet should be without even looking down because you can feel the bumps in the front and rear. Also peddling is easier because the ground is closer. The stability in turns are also improved because of a lower center of gravity. The only downside is that the bottom of the deck might scrape more over speed bumps or if you put too much weight in the center of the deck as you peddle because it will flex more if you stand in the middle part of the board.

    Looking at buying a board to ride with my daughters to the park. Haven’t rode in years and this helped me a lot. Thank you. And send all the prayers and good wishes you can, I’m sure I’ll need it. 😂

    I've been riding your lowrider for two years, I absolutely love it. The concave is super comfortable and it's much faster than my top deck, even drop downs or drop throughs. This board cruises at 12.5 mph flat ground NO EFFORT (pushing once every 10+ seconds), and can reach up to 24-25 mph flat ground due to how easy it is to push in quick succession. I'm very confident that someone could hit 30+ on flat ground with this thing. It's insane.
    It's absurdly stable too, I've literally never wobbled, so it's FANTASTIC for high speed long distance travel, but the turn radius is outright bad I'm afraid. Like, school bus bad. But that's a welcome tradeoff for the ludicrous speed and unrivaled stability, and the turns can be assisted by kicking out your back wheels to tighten your turns even at low speeds, so it's almost a non issue. That's how you cheat the bad steering on this thing, I ride 76mm 78a, and the back easily swings out to help you with corners while the front wheels tend to pivot in place more. I actually drift/slide like this more than I turn normally even while cruising. Mastering this is necessary for urban transport as you cannot rely on the Board's default turn radius. It can barely make 90° sidewalk turns without kicking the back wheels outward for assistance
    TLDR:
    SPEED 9, STABILITY 10, TURNING 3 (but can be cheated up to a 5)

    during mid covid 2020 i was riding my favorite board, a lowrider, and i hit this nasty sidewalk bump that was higher than expected. Threw me forward and broke the front end off the board. Lowrider boards just hit me in such a way. I couldn't find that exact replacement board as the company that made it fizzled out maybe a year prior (go figure the time I found the board). Something about how it turned, the speed, it just felt so good. And what this board did that others keep doing and it annoys me was it was just flat. No special curves or ridges, just a flat board to stand on. It was comfy for my bigger feet.

    I recently buy a lowrider and don't know it, cause there's no much info about it, i tested it for a few days and i love it, my only complain is that i already scratch the graphics because how low it is 😂 i'm thinking about swap the 70mm wheels for a 100mm

  • @nuotatetutti5530

    Beginner level. In the park where I learn to ride, the asphalt has cracks, and often wide ones, 1-2 inches, there are also sidewalk slabs and the depth between them is the same. I have a longboard with 70 and wide wheels, but at low speed I crash into cracks and just stop or can fall. Advise me which wheels are better for overcoming cracks, stones and tiles - small and narrow, or wide, or 100 and is the length of the longboard important - maybe a shorter cruiser will be better?

    • @YOCAHERSKATEBOARDS
      @YOCAHERSKATEBOARDS  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@nuotatetutti5530 I feel yeah. That’s what happens to me too when I cruise in our streets, the random cracks will either throw you off or mess with the momentum. I’d recommend a wider wheel like 71mm. I typically use our dropdown longboard for “city cruising” because it has a dip / concave that levels your gravity lower and won’t jerk you off your board compared to a flat surface board. Or also mini cruisers can be easily maneuvered for unpredictable terrain

    Can I make track cutouts on the board myself?
    Using this video as an example, turn a Lowrider into a Dropdown.

    It doesn't look to me like the lowrider actually sits alf an inch lower, you just have half inch risers on the drop down longboard. If there the same hight without the risers I'd get the dropdown for the deeper pockets
