I'm actually building my own I'm a body that had sitting around since I was younger, and just got done wiring up all of the electronics and string and from my experience you can cut the excess string off if you want but if you don't have very tight string you may not want to because it makes it harder to restring. (I geuss somewhat obvious)
I don’t have any at the moment but If I end up getting some I definitely will, I’m planning on getting some of the new fb county corduroys though so stay tuned!
