I think you would have won if you painted the frame, engine & engine compartment same color as the body…. Awesome build, Car looks Great!!!
I wanted to go for more of a realistic street car look, having all that done would have been more of a frame off full show car look. Not saying you're wrong, just saying I went the route I did to get a certain look.

That is called Bare Metal Foil! It can be tough to work with but it makes all the difference. You can find it in the Amazon affiliate links down below in the description.

Hey nick i just tried the tamiya gold mix, it's kind of thick and dries fast. Did you use any paint thinner, also how did you apply it? Working on a green 57 chevy and this video is extremely helpful. Thanks 🔥🔥🔥🔥

How do you make the suspension like that
@@hansford2006 The top A arms are custom resin ones that I bought, the bottom is just stock lower a arms slightly heated up and bent.

Beautiful Impala and if this was your first build you knock it out the park keep on going forward you learned all sorts of tricks can you got an eye for detail and colors

@@nickshobbycorner over the many years and played around with different paints of what work what didn't sometimes I'll get the really unique colors from fingernail polish LOL but of course you got to play with those to make him work but I'm getting back into the model building again I've still got a few that go back more than 30 years
