This is beautiful. Where did you get the wood place holder I didn't see it in your description?
Thanks Karen! My husband actually makes those using a table saw
Hi, it looks beautiful.. I was just wondering what size is the sign?
Hi Susie, thank you so much! I believe this was a 8x10"
Sorry missed wot glue did you use ??xx
Hi..wondering if the gold leaf changes color over time? Wondering if I should apply a sealant for acrylic caketoppers. Thank you
Hi Sadie! Not sure about it changing over time but I would use a food safe sealant for any paint or metal flakes near food.
Hi Carly, your work is stunning! Can you tell me what the tool is that you use for weeding? It looks a lot more effective than the tool I am using.
Hi Becky! Thank you so much! Those are Lacross tweezers. I've had them for years and cannot find them anywhere but a good pair of tweezers should work :)
Where did you get the wood base to hold the acrylic in?
I make those and have them on my list for a tutorial :)
Can you see any glue residue on the front?
Nope! It dries perfectly clear :)
What kind of glue do you use?
Did you have any issues with the glue showing after dry
I dont! even on clear/nonpainted signs with the metal leaf
@@CarlyKeller Thank you for answering
Was the wood block also purchased or handmade and cut to fit the acrylic sheet?
Those are handmade and cut by us :)
Carly Keller Hi Carly, what type of material did you buy to make the stands ?
Can u show ideas for money box if u do that for weddings.
I just started making card boxes! Will definitely keep that in mind for a tutorial :)
Hi! Just wondering if using a glass from an old frame would work as well as an acrylic piece?
Hi! Yes, I believe so! The acrylics are very durable though compared to glass so I would be extra careful
Are these sun and rain proof (weather proof)?
The acrylic and vinyl are but would need to protect the paint with a sealer. Even then, I wouldn't keep it in rain for very long! Hope that helps :)
I wanna see the silver!!
I just got the prettiest silver paint too! Will have to give it a try together 🤩
Hi love your video where can i get the wood that holds up the acrylic. Thanks
Thank you! I handmake those and they can be purchased in my Etsy shop! Just shoot me a message :) etsy.com/shop/ohmycustomdesigns
