Just wanted to say thank you so very much! Every tutorial on TH-cam a cricut (which most people don’t have!) was needed or it was free hand. This was a life and $$ saver! Thank you so very much!!!!!
I don’t usually comment on video but thank you so much for doing this video without a cricut… so grateful for this cheap and inexpensive way to make these signs. Thank youuuuu
This is the best acrylic sign tutorial I've seen on TH-cam. Thank you so much! Another great place to find acrylic frames is Goodwill or other thrift shops or even a yard sale/swap meet. Or sometimes I even see people discarding them at apartment dumpsters on the end of the month.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I had never used Canva or Rasterbator before and your instructions made it so simple. I created the most beautiful 24 x 36 acrylic seating chart for my best friend's wedding. You're awesome!
This has saved me £40 I was going to have to spend on a custom bought one 🥰 thank you! It has also saved me £200 because while doing this I saw canva has wedding invitation templates too and decided to do digital invitations ❤
Girl! I created the board yesterday! it was so much fun, I did struggle to find the right pen lol but the outcome was amazing! Thank you for the helpful tutorial.
I just want to cry. This is so beautiful. I am 2 weeks away from my wedding and no welcome sign. Super expensive everything is and i am exhausted. This is so cool. I'll do this ♥️♥️♥️
I would recommend this if you intend to keep it. A lot of other brides though would probably prefer the method she shows in the video because if you sell this to another bride, they can use the acetone to erase and redo their own sign
I learned from your previous video using vinyl and have made lots of wedding signs and thank you so much. Can you help me with a process to do pictures on the acrylic?? I love this video you did as well
As I’m planning to craft the majority of my wedding this BY FAR was the most informative and useful tutorial I’ve seen! I can’t wait to make a welcome sign and so much more!
this is amazing. I am working on a sign right now and i wanted to get a flat gold back so i wondered if i could use gold spray paint to avoid any streaks, any experience with this??
Thanks so much for this video. I am working on a welcome sign at present for my son’s wedding. I so wanted to use Perspex and now I know exactly how to do it. Fantastic tutorial...straight to the point...no useless chit chat....absolutely the best!!!!
Amazing! Thank you for this extremely in-depth and detailed tutorial. I loved how you linked everything you used. This will be so useful for DIYing my wedding sign - so much more preferable to paying goodness knows what to some random Etsy person. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!
I’m hand-writing and painting a sign for my son’s upcoming wedding. You have given me some great ideas. One little tip, if you will: be careful while using some strippers on the the acrylic. Some strippers may have an undesired effect on the acrylic.
This is an amazing tutorial! Do you have any tips for the painting. I am finding even after three coats, when held up, it is very transparent and you can see every brush stroke 😱 It looks good when I’m painting laid flat on the table, but held up looks terrible 😞
Hi How are you!! First Thank you for this very well done and explained video!! This is the third time I try to make a welcome sign myself and fail again... My most important problem is that when I trace the letters with my paint pen, the first coat is super light obviously, but when I try to go back and do a second coat for my writing to be more dark and clear, I just can't do it!! It's like when I rewrite with the same paint pen, it erases the coat that is under... Should I leave it to dry a lot between 2 coats ?? Because on the pen it says fast dry and when I touch, I really feel it's dry but then I repaint with an other coat and it doesn't work... PLZ HELP, I need to do it for in two days !!!
I dont think so! As long as it fits and looks like a good size on your acylic sheet it shouldn't be an issue! once u print it out and put it behind the acrylic you will be able to tell if you will like the look or not
Quick question: what kind of paint did you use for the acrylic sheet? And would it come off or is it permanent? I’m working on a friend’s wedding. LOVE ALL YOUR IDEAS!! ❤️💋🙏
Thanks so much for this was exactly what I’m looking for. However, just followed each step which went well and then printed off . Not sure what I’ve done wrong but it’s not matching up and not in line on some letters. Any suggestions? Thanks
hi! i love the video and the sign came out amazing. i tried to recreate and had no problem until i used acetone to clean up my edges. the acetone left an ashy look and i can’t get it out. i’ve tried alcohol and glass cleaner but nothing worked. do you know of any way to fix this and is it normal?
I bought a 24 x36 frame from Hobby Lobby and it equals to 60 x90 cm. I'm just going to use the acrylic from there I bought an ikea one and it was too flimsy. The frames are half off at hobby lobby right now and mine was only 30!
This was SO HELPFUL. I must have watched this 6 times to make sure I did everything right. It worked! My sign looks great; thank you!
What kind of pen did she use?
Just wanted to say thank you so very much! Every tutorial on TH-cam a cricut (which most people don’t have!) was needed or it was free hand. This was a life and $$ saver! Thank you so very much!!!!!
Glad it was helpful! I wanted to get the circuit look but with a hand drawn touch! Best of both worlds here :)

This looks great. Could i wash the paint off and re use the board?
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I had never used Canva or Rasterbator before and your instructions made it so simple. I created the most beautiful 24 x 36 acrylic seating chart for my best friend's wedding. You're awesome!

Cool! Just an idea: mirror print so you're writing on the back side and the print gets "sealed" by the background color.
Hello! How to mirror print?
@@makiwifi89 You can do it in Canva 😃
I would recommend this if you intend to keep it. A lot of other brides though would probably prefer the method she shows in the video because if you sell this to another bride, they can use the acetone to erase and redo their own sign

For the frame you ordered 76x55 but the template on canva was larger, is this correct? I want to make sure it’s the right size :) thank you x

Hello, do you know how to get rid of the acetone smudge marks on the acrylic when using acetone to correct mistakes?
It’s awesome.. can you list down what is the name of pens and color you use?
What is the size of frame used? 76x55 or 91x61
Do the size of the acrylic frame and size of the sign/letters have to be the same, I’m having trouble with the sizes ?
I dont think so! As long as it fits and looks like a good size on your acylic sheet it shouldn't be an issue! once u print it out and put it behind the acrylic you will be able to tell if you will like the look or not
Love this video thank you!! Can I ask, what brand and color paint did you use on the back please? X
I would love to order with you but I live in Malaysia, hard to settle with shipping issue
Do you use any kind of sealant spray for the side with the lettering?
This was awesome! Thank you so much!!!
Is it possible to remove the paint from the acrylic sign?
Currently doing it,ughh how do you deal with the patches i did 2 coats already
Hey! Beautiful piece! I have a question tho. Do you use any sort of seal on the paint or the marker so that it's wratherproof and doesn't chip off?
Will this work the same with glass ???

Your video is really helpful. Thank you so much.
Anyway where can I find the pen like this ?

hi! i love the video and the sign came out amazing. i tried to recreate and had no problem until i used acetone to clean up my edges. the acetone left an ashy look and i can’t get it out. i’ve tried alcohol and glass cleaner but nothing worked. do you know of any way to fix this and is it normal?
the acetone will damage the acrylic. you can only use acetone on glass to clean up. hope this helps! :-)
Hi is there any way after writing on it can I wipe it off
I didn’t see the 50x70 size on ikea. I really wanted the acrylic but I’m not in Uk
I bought a 24 x36 frame from Hobby Lobby and it equals to 60 x90 cm. I'm just going to use the acrylic from there I bought an ikea one and it was too flimsy. The frames are half off at hobby lobby right now and mine was only 30!
