DIY Acrylic Seating Chart + Copper Stand | Wedding DIY

- By Request on TikTok, I am continuing to make wedding DIY videos. In this video I show you how I create my wedding seating chart. I use an acrylic board as my base, I print off the names, take them back to the acrylic board and use that as a guide to write them out with a sharpie oil based pen. After that I use my Cricut to cut all the headers for my sign in white vinyl. Once it is all placed, I paint the back with Blue Eco by Folkart and the board is finished. To display the sign, I create a stand out of metal copper pipes.

How many people were on your seating chart. For example if you invited John Doe and a guest did you put John Doe and then his guests name as well.... like what if you don’t know their guest. I LOVE how this turned out tho. Just wondering if it would work for our 225 people wedding next summer.
There were about 100 names. You could definitely do smaller font plus a bigger board for more people. We personally didn’t give too many plus ones of people that we didn’t know, for the few that got a plus one and we didn’t know who they were, we just asked for their dates name. Then the dates name was alphabetized
Question; so I found these super nice 18*36 inch picture frames that are from Michael’s and there buy one get 2 free right now! Could I use these instead of buying the acrylic will it work just the same?? Please help me soon So I can save money..!! The frames say in the description there made out of MDF and polystyrene.. will this work??
If the clear part of the frame is glass, I would just say as long as you are comfortable transporting it, it should be fine. All of my steps should work for it. As far as the base in this video working for a frame, they aren’t super sturdy and I wouldn’t rely on the base to hold glass.

Hi, I'm not the author of the video, but most probably fishing line was used as it's transparent but durable. :)
