Absolutely perfect! It’s beautiful 😍 great job!
Thank you so much!! 💕
This Is so pretty
Thank you so much!! 💜
Carly I do not own a circuit but had questions regading what size font to use typically for 18x24...trying to purchase the custom decal from etsy
This is gorgeous! Thinking about making one for my wedding. Do you think this is something that will last if I make it in advance? My wedding isn’t for 6 months so I don’t want the paint cracking or anything if I make it ahead of time.
Sooooo beautiful!!!
Thank you so much!! ❤
Hi Carly! I was wondering if you wet the sponge prior to dabbing it in paint?
I dont!
Beautiful! Love the colour. Have you ever done acrylic wedding invitations?
Thank you Lisa! I wont cut any smaller than names on a seating chart (app. .4"), so the super detailed acrylic invites I recommend purchasing through a site like Basic Invite: www.basicinvite.com/wedding/wedding-invitations/clear-wedding-invitations.html
question!!!! i’m trying to make a white wedding sign. do i need to buy a clear one and paint white or order a white one? i can’t seem to find a white one already online.
Hello! My local plastics store carries white in solid and opaque. If you cant find any near you you can always paint the clear acrylic white! I love the look of a white painted sign wedding 🤍
If someone was to hire these out is the paint easy to remove?
do you sell stand with the acrylic ?or just acrylic ?
they are rentals!
When you apply the vinyl decal do you flip it as I think you placed it behind the glass, thanks why you are able to clean glass from front.
The vinyl is on the front and paint on the back! I clean over the vinyl lettering with no issues
This turned out so beautiful thank you for sharing, I was wondering what thickness of the acrylic sheet you used for this sign?
Thank you so much Kathy! The thickness is 1/8”
Wow, it looks amazing! 🥰 Could you please do a customized / personalized name , Hot Cocoa sign????
I love that idea and actually have a winter wedding with a cider bar! Will make sure to share ☕☃️
I’m sure whatever you do will be awesome. It will be a keepsake they can use every year for years to come.
What type of acrylic paint do you use - matte, glossy?
Really gorgeous work! Spot on with color matching. I’m helping with my daughter’s friends wedding that she’s in and they are wearing a light lilac. Beautiful color but I’m having a go deciding on the color of vinyl to use. I’ve tried silver and also white and a darker grey. The silver and white fade too much and the dark grey looks too severe. Any suggestions would be so appreciated!
Hi Lucy! Thank you so much. What if you did a few different shades of the lilac brushed to give the background some dimension? I think it would help the lettering pop. Kinda like I did with this acrylic sign at the 5:20 mark: th-cam.com/video/cvLH2pRtXwo/w-d-xo.html
@@CarlyKeller great idea! You have so many wonderful ideas and your work is so professional. It is so nice to be able to create special things for such a happy day. Thank you for sharing your talents ❤️ your couples are very lucky to have you!
Was the vinyl on the opposite side of the paint?
Yes, it is on the front of the acrylic! With the back painted
How thick are the acrylic sheets you use?
Depends on the size sign. Thinner acrylic for smaller signs, thicker for larger ones like seating charts. The welcome signs are usually 1/8"!
Does rose gold vinyl is copper vinyl from oracAl 651
This is gold but I use copper too
what font did you use for this writing? cricut has that many im struggling to find 1 that I really love but :(
Beautiful! Where can I get the big measuring mat you have under the acrylic. Thanks.
Thank you so much!! The mat is linked in the video description as "Cricut cutting mat"
Do you wet the sponge or use it dry?
Its dry
where do you get the acrylic from
From my local plastics store!
Do you put another glass over the vinyl?
Nope! Just the one acrylic sheet :)
What size is you font please
What Vinyl did you use? Permanent or Removable. Turned out so beautiful❤
Thank you! I use permanent, even for my rental signs. Hope this helps!
What size did you use for the acryli
This was 18x24"
When I do a sign, when the sun hits it, I can see the strokes. When lights not shining on it, it’s completely opaque. How do I fix this? Thanks!
Hi Megan, I'm not sure there would be much of a work around this. When I coordinate weddings, I keep the mirrored and acrylics inside for photos because of this very reason!
Its a burgundy.💜✨
💜💜
what size of acrylic is this?
18x24"
Do you sell these acrylic signs ?
My shop is currently closed to catch up on TH-cam!
@@CarlyKeller awww okay. I’m getting married soon and you do them perfectly!!! I’d love to have one made from you.
