Grandpa died just a few months ago. She also sang Willie Nelson’s “You Were Always on My Mind” and dedicates it to her Grandpa and starts crying in the end. If you look at the end table there’s a picture of him sitting there…PS, when she performs on Stage, you will see her “Barefooted”. That’s because when she was 9-10 years old, she saw a 6 yr.old little girl w/o shoes and gave the girl her’s. Since then she swore she would never perform on stage with shoes unless all the children in the World have shoes…SanJoséBob
ANGELINA WROTE THIS SONG FOR HER GRANDFATHER WHO PASSED AWAY, THEY WERE VERY CLOSE. . SHE DOES A COVER OF A WILLIE NELSON SONG ALWAYS ON MY MIND. SHE RECORDED IT IN HER ROOM RIGHT AFTER HE PASSED AWAY. SHE IS SO EMOTIONAL IN THIS COVER. BEAUTIFULLY DONE !!!.
It will be close to impossible to cover Angelinas songs better than she does. Tough for the tribute singers 25 years from now. Because she will be superstar in not a far time.
Angelina wrote this after her grandfather passed away. In her words ‘Million Miles’ is about losing someone you really love. This song is very personal to me because I had never felt the feeling of losing someone before I wrote this.” - Angelina Jordan explained
Our Barefoot Princes of Music who first grabbed our hearts at 7 has grown up and after looking up the back story to this song and wiping my eyes all I can say is. Gone is the Bare foot Princes, Long Live the Queen.
It has been suggested that the song was dedicated to her grandpa, who meant a lot to her and who had passed away. It probably was to a great extant, but it seems to be even bigger than that alone, because in her own words, she says that "The song is really about everyone and reminding us that we are never alone because we as humans, our biggest fear as human beings are (sic) that we are very afraid of being alone or losing someone." It obviously affected her deeoly, as she says “When I was in the booth, while I was singing, my tears were running.” It is obvious that in addition to her soaring and incomparable talent, this beautiful angel has a heart and soul that are just overflowing with boundless love and compassion. and it started very early: just ask the six year old homeless girl to whom she gave her shoes.
Warning: if you watch 3 Angelina TH-cams, you'll be hooked and be watching all 140+ of them. 😁 This girl has over 2 Billion Facebook views alone. Not had for someone "no one" seems to have heard of.. yet! 😁
Angelina is the the most talented singer I have ever heard. Just can't get enough. Her 5 original song and covers of over 140. I watched her progress from 6 to now 15 and it's a magical journey. I hope you take the trip.
Hooray for US!!! CONGRATS 👏👏 You're the 1st Vocal Coach who: didn't dwell too long on the technicalities of getting certain sound AND (drum roll, please) you DIDN'T COMPARE HER TO OTHER SINGERS!!! Whoop, Whoop! Our sweet Angelina CANNOT be stuffed into a box and LABELED... There's only one Rembrandt, Einstein, Gershwin and there's only "1" Angelina!! I appreciate your kind words about the fans...GAGA has her "Monsters", Angelina has her "Angels"..❣️❣️❣️You have a marvelous, wondrous journey ahead...next stop: ABSOLUTE JOY!
You might want to hear Angelina's cover of 'I Put A Spell On You', the black and white studio version. It will help you understand the depth of her talent. She is 9 at the time of the recording and it is her own arrangement. If there is a such thing as a cover masterpiece, this is it. Her influences in this cover are Screaming Jay Hawkins, the author and the cover by Nina Simone.
Angelina’s voice has been recognizable since she was little. She is already an elite master class level artist. Her melismas and runs are uniquely her’s. When she chooses to cover a song she sprinkles her angel dust on them and owns them. She writes the arrangements and edits the lyrics to suit her age level. She had written, composed and recorded four songs by the time she was twelve years old. She speaks four languages and plays several different instruments. She is the youngest Norwegian citizen to have written a book and have it published. She was nine when she wrote her book. She was performing in front of dignitaries and world leaders at the age of seven. She has already accomplished more in her young life than a great many people have or will in their whole lives.
This song is very powerful as it's Angelina's tribute to her grandpa who unexpectedly passed away at the end of 2019. This song became more relevant during the pandemic, so many people grieving over lost ones and those that they were isolated from. Angelina was kind enough to share her inermost feelings with us, all we can do is listen and appreciate the story, supported by the beautiful vocals and the gentle music.
She is the most uniquely talented and gifted music artist on the planet. There is no other fourteen year old I know of that has Angelina’s mature and seasoned tone or have the ability to go deep into her lower register like Angelina does.
👩🏻🎤🎵🌎⭐️🇳🇴❤️ Thanks Elisha Ann for this very nice Angelina reaction. As you recognized, this song is very personal for Angelina. She wrote on her Facebook page: "This song is dedicated to anyone who has lost a loved one. I wrote this song thinking about all the great memories I had with my grandpa and how much it hurts to lose someone. I hope this song finds a place in your heart, as it comes straight from mine."

Whereas I don’t find that you have an Angelina playlist and a search on your name yields very few related results, I hope you will listen to and react to more of Angelina’s music. I think her work must be or will be the vocal coach for all vocal coaches; because I find that Angelina does not sing notes, she paints emotions with her voice. Angelina had a personal experience to connect with this particular song, but you will find from her performances dating back to age 7, she is soulful even without a direct connection to experiences like those of the original artist.
she wrote this for her grandfather after he died around two years ago .. they were very close. She is 14 here. She dedicated the song not just to her grandpa but to anyone who has suffered the death of a loved one. She is now 15. She has another original that came out about a month ago. It is called 7th HEAVEN. She has close to 140 covers on you tube .. and she is exceptional. She won Norway's Got Talent in 2014 when she was 8 years old and did so singing old classic jazz songs. She has a huge number of followers and of you keep reacting to her, all her followers will come and support you. it's an amazing group of people. They will tell you tons of info about her. Thanks for your reaction ..
Thank you for doing a reaction Angelina. I know for some of the fans regardless of when we descovered her, we feel like we’ve watched her grow up and couldn’t be more proud of the young lady she’s become and I do mean lady. Even since this song came out she’s covered the popular Adel song and Mercy as her first movie score. I think it’s more than being proud of how she’s using her gifts but the way she’s conducting herself as a young woman of 16. We’ve all seen great young singers implode with fame. Credit must be given to her parents and family. Reactors like you help get her name out there where she needs to be. I hope you keep doing more.
Hi Elisha, This was Angelina's first original song released under her new label Republic Records (UMG) at 14 years old. She wrote this not long after the passing of her grandfather. The video version stars her little sister playing the part of a young Angelina with her uncle Michael Astar (also her manager) playing her grandfather. She did a tribute to her other grandfather's passing around 2 years earlier with "You Are Always On My Mind". To see this young artist perform at a younger age consider "FEELING GOOD,Live on the Stream Gir Tilbake" at 10 years old with a full jazz band and televised live in Norway. She performs it as good as any of the greats including John Legend who performed it on Jan.20, 2021for the presidential inauguration. Really enjoy your enthusiasm and breakdown of the singers and the songs. Thank you!
Even more profound influence is Angelina's grandmother, a famous poet and artist in her own right of Iran descent. She encouraged Angelina's early interest in jazz and we see Grandmother's design in her outfit (singing Bohemian Rhapsody at AGT) and cover of her record label design (in 7th Heaven) and the girl climbing a ladder to Heaven (in Million Miles).
You mentioned that the music delivers the emotion and this is exactly where Angelina is virtually unmatched. You don't just hear the music when she sings, you feel it.
You did a great reaction. "Powerful and purposeful " that is Angelina and fits her to a tee. And also, great advice 👍 it's music 1st and about the performers 2nd. Also 💯 Angelina jordan. Thanks for sharing with us Angelina fans. We are proud of Angelina Jordan and we appreciate respectful reactors., like yourself. Keep up being bold. 😇🧡
Hello Elisha, thank you for that nice & honest reaction. She wrote this song shortly after her 2nd grandpa died in Nov. 2019, she was 13. Angie wrote this shortly after his death & recorded it in 2020 at 14, ( her 1st grandpa died in 2018). The producer of RR of UMG heard it & wanted to sign her ASAP, & they did finally at the end on Aug. 2020. Angie & her grandma did the art for the (official lyric video). Angelina said, “This song is dedicated to anyone who has lost a loved one. I wrote this song thinking about all the great memories I had with my grandpa and how much it hurts to lose someone. I hope this song finds a place in your heart, as it comes straight from mine”. Stargate producer singer/songwriter Dakota posted on her Instagram regarding the collaboration with Angie, said “This girls talent is freakin insane.” (The piano player is Rob Christie, a Grammy winning producer & chief executive of RR of UMG. He's been in 3 of her video's.) (I do hope you buy & download her single to show your support for her art & music too.) You should start from where it all began. “I who have nothing” by Ben E. King & covered by Tom Jones & Shirley Bassey. She’s 6 in a sound booth at her school. th-cam.com/video/RjQZKBpVaes/w-d-xo.html “Gloomy Sunday” by Billie Holiday she was 7 here on NGT Audition th-cam.com/video/d3gSho9yf88/w-d-xo.html “I’m a fool to want you” cover by Billie Holiday she was 7 just turned 8 NGT quarter finals The Judges cut. (a capella & haunting) th-cam.com/video/6LIcQL5gLoY/w-d-xo.html. “Bang Bang” cover by Nancy Sinatra she’s 8 NGT semi finals th-cam.com/video/pcBoB49Gxn8/w-d-xo.html “Summertime” by George Gershwin th-cam.com/video/bnpFsCNKzFg/w-d-xo.html Finals on NGT & she’s 8 here . Angie has always done her own arrangements & song writing. She is a true word master, a master story teller even when super young.
It's strange how many different emotions this song can invoke within me. Angelina has the ability with most of the songs she performs to bring grown men to tears or to smile like Children do on Christmas Morning. When she hit's those high notes in this song it makes me feel like she's looking to the heavens and crying in despair. Fantastic reaction and honest review yet again! Thank You. Please stay in the Angelina Rabbit hole! Because you definitely won't regret it. ❤
Thank you Ms. Elisha Ann. We thank you for caring about others in Life. So nice you are sharing your Music Craft & Using it to help others understand how things work in this setting. We love your Personality on Camera. "Fantastic Natural!!!" Zoom Teacher!!!! We can't Waite to see U here again!!! Outstanding Production Too! Who needs Cable!!! DD.
Angelina wrote this in dedication to her grandfather who had passed away recently, and she was very close to. It is also written for all of those who have lost a loved one. Yes it is a very personal composition.
Not many singers could pull this song off. It is not just tone and natural feel here.but that insane quick vibrato combined with a tender rough edge that give it vulnerability and innocents. Perhaps a very young Stevie Nicks could fit this song but I cant think of anyone else Adel perhaps. It is not just the runs or being in key that makes this song stand out. The message and the artists natural approach sets it apart.
Elisha, hello 🖐 and welcome back to Angelina's music . I think from memory you mentioned you have a love for jazz , well , let me tell you you are in for a treat with our gal. Have a go at reacting to her own song 7th Hreaven and give us your insight into this jazzy number.
i love reactions from pro musicians or and vocal coaches and teachers,,,,,,,most of them do not get it yet with Angelina and its ok,,,,,,,,,,,Angelina you have to listen to with your soul and heart ,,,,,,,like most of her music family ( us) do it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,she heals not just sing,,,,,,,,thanx for reaction
This one a tearjerker for me, as I am thinking of my lost ones, and Angelina is brilliant in storytelling and pouring emotions into a song, so this song is special for me ❤
This was a great reaction, you had the format down here. It flowed, we got to listen to the performance with you, watch you react in real time and give your analysis, all nicely stitched together, a performance in itself. 👍👍👍👍 K.I.S.S.😜
There is also a lyric version of this original song with art by her and her grandmother. Very touching! Would love for you to react to more of Angelina. I’m hooked on her and appreciate your analyses.
Can you say Child Prodigy? She is exceptional, like your breakdown, by the way this is about her Grandfather who had passed away a few years before. Check out Heal the World. God Bless!
Elisha - wow. You have an amzing voice also. ( that also to Angelina of course) - Before the end of the video when you had repeated a couple of parts of the song I thought, WOW, you could be one of the first to cover A.J. then you suggested it at the end. Lol. I think you should. Thanks for a very lovely and thought provoking and interesting reaction. I won't say much about the actual song or Angelina's performance as I can see it has all already been covered in the comments by my fellow Angels. ( and oh, thank you so much for the compliment about Angelina's fanbase. We try., ) And of course words to describe this sheer heartfelt performance surpass me. I am normally in tears before half way through. Look forward to your next one. 👍
What a spectacular artistic and technical analysis! You were able to connect on various aspects of the personal importance of the song to Angelina as well as explaining how she utilized a variety of vocal techniques to make it hers. I’ll be honest, you were likely more able to “step back” from this performance better because you were unaware that she was reaching out to her late and very close grandfather. Others have discussed that this was a big part of her grief process, but they were aware of the context in advance. Great work and thank you so much.
This is a tribute to her Grand father died some months before this recording. She wrote this song it was her first release on Republic Records. She was 14 years old on this recording. If you like her runs you should listen to her cover of "I'd rather be blind" from Etta james a classic soul/blues song from 1968. You'll surely be impressed on this one by her raspy tone and her extensive use of vocal fry. Enjoy!
That was fun - thanks! ... It looks like you're still early in your AJ journey - yes? ANd I like your analysis so buckle the heck up LOL! This one was for her grandfather who had passed a short time before. I'm sure others will cover that in more detail so I won't - but I particularly like the fact that we can almost trace her respect and love for him through several of her originals - for example, MM contains the line "I'll never regret what I do." ... Now this was a bit confusing to me till I listened to her 7th Heaven. And I'm willing to bet her implication that we are each responsible for making our OWN 7th Heavens has something to do with the fact that doing right is sometimes hard - but if ya do, you'll never regret what you do. (now she's gonna see my thought on this somewhere and think I'm a loon or something but it cleared up the line from MM for me HA HA) You'll find that AJ has an amazing range of techniques allll in her back pocket - AAAAnd she seems to have an almost unnatural ability to pull and use JUST the right ones for each song she performs - I really do believe you will have a lot of fun analyzing her performances. Annnyway, I'm sure others will suggest various of her performances ... so, here are a couple of my favorites for your consideration (note: ages listed may be a year off either direction LOL) ... FIRST!! I Put A Spell on You !! (9 y/o) "I Put A Spell On You" here: th-cam.com/video/nwFloCPXzCs/w-d-xo.html ... You probably know that I Put A Spell On You was written and performed by Screamin' Jay Hawkins in 1956. You can review one of his performances th-cam.com/video/orNpH6iyokI/w-d-xo.html for insight into AJ's offering - she, as 9y/o, takes his theatrics and makes her magic! Gloomy Sunday (7 y/o) Rezső Seress and popularized by Billie Holiday th-cam.com/video/d3gSho9yf88/w-d-xo.html - note: this was her audition piece for Norway's Got Talent (which she won at 8) Feelin' Good (10 y/o) Newley/Bricusse - th-cam.com/video/p8kAL-sGJx8/w-d-xo.html - just watch her comfort and work with the camera!! At TEN!! Faded (not sure but someone said 10) live with and by Alan Walker - th-cam.com/video/k_obf1BTBtE/w-d-xo.html Back To Black (9 or 10 y/o) Winehouse/Ronson cover - th-cam.com/video/ICY1uJe15cM/w-d-xo.html - warning, she rewrote the lyrics at the behest of her mother who felt that Amy's original were not appropriate for a 10 y/o young lady. I have Nothing (12 y/o) a Whitney - th-cam.com/video/eTcvvO6B3Io/w-d-xo.html Fly Me To The Moon (12 y/o) a Sinatra(?) cover - th-cam.com/video/OMkwoqUNNkE/w-d-xo.html I'm Still Holding out for You (12 or 13 y/o) Baby Fuzz cover - th-cam.com/video/Dv8mjCh5iiE/w-d-xo.html All of Me (12 or 13) Legend - cover - th-cam.com/video/oEeEurjqdWg/w-d-xo.html Stay (12 or 13) Rihanna - cover - th-cam.com/video/_GSVPvCy3Yg/w-d-xo.html Wicked Game (maybe 13 y/o - not sure) Chris Isaak - cover (just her and her piano - nice) th-cam.com/video/5IAMF4FDfw4/w-d-xo.html Valerie (13 y/o) A.Harding, B.Chowdhury, D.McCabe, R.Pritchard, S.Payne - popularized by Any Winehouse - cover - th-cam.com/video/sqmJLkgk2Ik/w-d-xo.html (hint, her little sister is the dancer LOL) I'd Rather Go Blind (13 y/o) Jordan/Foster/Etta James cover - th-cam.com/video/pK8mMXQb3_I/w-d-xo.html I see you've already done All I Ask (15 y/o) and her original, Million Miles (14 or 15 y/o) so I'll drop them from y list - HOWEVER, you might want to at least watch the final video of MM - it is WAY better done than 99% of the music videos out there in that is a subtle but true visual allegory of the song - it brings you even further INTO the piece with her ... but, a heads up, ya may choke up just a bit when she lets out that defiant warrior's scream towards the end ... ... I mean, of course I didn't ... I'm a guy .... but young ladies might :-) th-cam.com/video/XA1_CUaM52I/w-d-xo.html 7th Heaven (15 y/o) original - th-cam.com/video/bM8DzMRbiIc/w-d-xo.html ... and just for fun how about one waaaayyy back when she was 6 - I heard this was her first booth experience - not sure but certainly an early visit heh heh ... you can hear that it's a child but you can also hear the promise of a singer for sure! I Who Have Nothing (6 or 7 y/o) "Uno dei Tanti" cover - th-cam.com/video/RjQZKBpVaes/w-d-xo.html
Please do make a cover of this Elisha. This is such a beautiful song that lovely singers like yourself can help get this out there some more. Thanks for your interesting and heartfelt reaction.
Great reaction again, Elisha. Here's what Angelina said about this song: “This song is dedicated to anyone who has lost a loved one. I wrote this song thinking about all the great memories I had with my grandpa and how much it hurts to lose someone. I hope this song finds a place in your heart, as it comes straight from mine." Since you did this anthem to loss of loved people you can react to her other original song released almost at the same time "7th Heaven" th-cam.com/video/bM8DzMRbiIc/w-d-xo.html oh, btw, the singer-songwriter Soundofdakota who contributed to the making of Million Miles expressed upon its releases: soundofdakota OUT NOW! So excited for the world to hear this and so honoured to be a part of just the beginning of your journey ❤️ written with dream team @angelinajordana & @stargatemusic Ps, the talent on this girl is freaking insane! instagram.com/p/CHQYzyYH_R4/
Hello, I love Angelina, that's why your reaction came up on my radar. This song is truly beautiful, but if you love Adele and Ella you really hit the jackpot with Angelina, her covers of their songs (and others, like Elvis and Billie Holiday) are simply stunning. May I also give you a couple of suggestions for other really good singers? First we have Floor Jansen, she is lead vocalist in a Finnish symphonic metal band called Nightwish. But don't let the genre scare you away, her range and technique is as near flawless as it gets, and Nightwish makes beautiful music, trust me on that. To react to Floor singing with her band I would recommend "Nightwish - Ghost Love Score" (Official Live). To react to Floor singing a musical tour de force try "Floor Jansen & Henk Port - Phantom of the Opera"( Beste zangers 2019) or "Floor Jansen - Shallow" (Beste zangers 2019). For a truly amazing male vocal experience try: "Chris Kläfford - Imagine" (Kitchen Session Episode 9) or "Chris Kläfford - Tennessee Whiskey" (Kitchen Session). BTW. If you choose to react to Nightwish, their fans, called "The Nightwish Army", will find your channel, and there are a lot of them...lol! 😉👍
Great, thanks! It's interesting that not too far into your reaction I wondered if you would like to do a cover, and by the end you were verbalizing that idea...YES Please!
Thank you for the presentation. Personally I would love to hear a cover of it. Check out her other two more recent studio releases: Seventh Heaven (her own song), and a cover of Adele’s All I Ask. Thank you for your insights. This was for her beloved grandfather who passed away not long ago.
ANGELINA JORDAN - NEWS! NEWS! NEWS! - New release from Angelina via Republic Records today; On this episode of Switch Hit, @Angelina Jordan Official covers "When You Believe" by Whitney Houston ft. Mariah Carey.
Ann, thank you for another wonderful reaction with the studio version of this enchanting song by Angelina, her voice is truly unique, it's a wonderful excerpt from all the great female singers and she always hits you deep in the soul. Seeing her sing again after more than a year, in this beautiful black and white video she is absolutely wonderful. This is a very sweet and very intense song dedicated with infinite love to the missing grandfather and to all the people who have lost someone, but it is also a song full of hope, with beautiful lyrics, especially if you think it was written by a 14 year old girl ❤️ ❤️ If you like, here you can find her latest original song, she has been released in April, "7th Heaven", it will leave you amazed again. th-cam.com/video/N0yK_07a1_U/w-d-xo.html
Million miles dedicated to rent value passed away. I see my tears I see your materials I know you’re there but I can’t see you. I can see my tears and told her that’s the way Moon watching over her know I want you to hear things will be OK. Those lines through this song.
Why thank you. I feel she definitely has somehow managed to rub off on her fans. Funny how a lil kid can set an example where even older people feel it matters to them.
She's got that great voice, of course, but her skill at writing lyrics is also pretty impressive, imho. Listen to what she's saying in Seventh Heaven, for example. Anyway, thanks for sharing your expertise. See you next time. :)
I believe you're not just dead on when you say that the music comes 1st and then the lyrics. I believe that when it is done in that order people actually remember the message of the lyrics because of the music and the emotin it. Most artists are reliant on the words and belt of them to get the listener to tunein. I also believe that when things are done in the wrong order people may enjoy the belting but they forget the Song when it's over and the audience attention moves on to the next artist and song.
gracias por reaccionar a angelina,"el angel de los pies descalzos "si podes pone subtitulos en español,gracias 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 ella es increible, tenes mucho para disfrutar de ella 😘
Grandfather passing away he’s gone I’ll see my tears but I know we’re always there because we’re connected in spirt What song released by Records company Republic about the passing of her grandfather a tribute to him they were so close
You should use the original video or the lyric video... There are 2 differences... I am sure you hear is at as well... It's not sure if this happens because of using software or she sang it twice... Please react also to her newer song '7th heaven'
Great reaction and analysis. I'd love to see you react to two of her other original songs. One when she was 12 years old called "Shield" - th-cam.com/video/lQtUbVKb0vs/w-d-xo.html. The other is a recent one called "7th Heaven" - th-cam.com/video/bM8DzMRbiIc/w-d-xo.html which has a great modern jazz feel to it.
she wrote this song for her grandpa that past away and for everyone who lost someone
We are all kind and sweethearted cause we are all norwegians when we are lissening to this norwegian prodigy, Angelina🇧🇻🥰
Angelina wrote this song for her maternal grandpa who passed away and for anyone who has lost someone close to them.
Angelina said in an interview that the day they recorded this, "The tears were flowing'.
She does sing from her heart and soul.
"Music is about emotions and Angelina is....MUSIC!!"
Angelina is amazing
Our Barefoot Princes of Music who first grabbed our hearts at 7 has grown up and after looking up the back story to this song and wiping my eyes all I can say is. Gone is the Bare foot Princes, Long Live the Queen.
It has been suggested that the song was dedicated to her grandpa, who meant a lot to her and who had passed away. Warning: if you watch 3 Angelina TH-cams, you'll be hooked and be watching all 140+ of them. 😁 This girl has over 2 Billion Facebook views alone. Not had for someone "no one" seems to have heard of.. yet! 😁
ABSOLUTELY! !!!!GO ANGELINA JORDAN!!!!!!!
She was a natural at 6.
Angelina is the the most talented singer I have ever heard. Just can't get enough. Her 5 original song and covers of over 140. I watched her progress from 6 to now 15 and it's a magical journey. I hope you take the trip.
Yes!!! It's absolutely true!!!!
Put into consideration also that English is not her first language
We are talking about a intelligent and hard working person who knows almost everything about singing since she was very young.
She was performing in front of dignitaries and world leaders at the age of seven. She has already accomplished more in her young life than a great many people have or will in their whole lives.
This is a REAL SUPERSTAR.
She wrote the song of her grandfather that passed.
Just love it even with no knowledge of what your saying ...thank you

She's doing two jazz gigs in Norway July. Tickets available for one. Love her voice. Short flight from UK. Hello Norway!!
Enjoyed your reaction , she wrote at the passing of her grandfather which she dearly loved
Thank you!
In addition, she wrote "SHIELD" for, and about her mom.... Just a little more info... personally, i think it would make a great James Bond Song lol
@@PopsBarnCatMafia Yes, also "Oslo" at 12 and "What Is Life" at 11 before she signed with Republic.
She is singing to her Grandfather, who passed away in 2019...
She is beautiful ..... she sings and writes this song beautifully...... amazing young artist.... thanks.✌
welcome to Angelina's world!!
so many covers and originals
enjoy!!
Angelina Jordan, another original, 7th Heaven, released a couple months ago. She is 15. (Live in Studio)
A tribut to her grandfaher who passed.and all of us who had lost one we lovd..🌹💟
Stargate producer singer/songwriter Dakota posted on her Instagram regarding the collaboration with Angie, said “This girls talent is freakin insane.”
(The piano player is Rob Christie, a Grammy winning producer & chief executive of RR of UMG.
He's been in 3 of her video's.)
(I do hope you buy & download her single to show your support for her art & music too.)
You should start from where it all began. “I who have nothing” by Ben E. King & covered by Tom Jones & Shirley Bassey. She’s 6 in a sound booth at her school. th-cam.com/video/RjQZKBpVaes/w-d-xo.html
“Gloomy Sunday” by Billie Holiday she was 7 here on NGT Audition th-cam.com/video/d3gSho9yf88/w-d-xo.html
“I’m a fool to want you” cover by Billie Holiday she was 7 just turned 8 NGT quarter finals
The Judges cut. (a capella & haunting) th-cam.com/video/6LIcQL5gLoY/w-d-xo.html.
“Bang Bang” cover by Nancy Sinatra she’s 8 NGT semi finals th-cam.com/video/pcBoB49Gxn8/w-d-xo.html
“Summertime” by George Gershwin th-cam.com/video/bnpFsCNKzFg/w-d-xo.html Finals on NGT & she’s 8 here
.
Angie has always done her own arrangements & song writing. She is a true word master, a master story teller even when super young.
ANGELINA....👏👏👏👏👏
It's her song she wrote it and its snout her grandfather's death
The song is for her Grandfather !
DD.
Nice reaction, she wrote for her grandfather that passed away and for anyone else that has lost someone close to them
So pleased you have found Angelina and yes a Queen!
Angelina wrote this in dedication to her grandfather who had passed away recently, and she was very close to. It is also written for all of those who have lost a loved one. Yes it is a very personal composition.
Angelina her Grandfather passed away. I am so sorry Rest In Peace In Eternal Life with God an forever.
I keep pray for you.
🙏🙏🙏
Great reaction. Thank you. :-)
すばらしい歌声です!
かっこいい!
This song is about her grandpaw, who passed away.
Elisha, hello 🖐 and welcome back to Angelina's music . I think from memory you mentioned you have a love for jazz , well , let me tell you you are in for a treat with our gal. Have a go at reacting to her own song 7th Hreaven and give us your insight into this jazzy number.
ty for the great reaction to our princess :)
Nice reaction. Angelina dedicated this to her late grandfather and to anyone who has lost someone. Yes, there is lots to learn from her!
i love reactions from pro musicians or and vocal coaches and teachers,,,,,,,most of them do not get it yet with Angelina and its ok,,,,,,,,,,,Angelina you have to listen to with your soul and heart ,,,,,,,like most of her music family ( us) do it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,she heals not just sing,,,,,,,,thanx for reaction
I enjoy hearing knowledgably people, like yourself, delve into details that I would not have known about otherwise.
Please do more Angelian.
Thank you Elisha for another wonderful reaction on this Friday morning it went well with my coffee. Smile.
A gift from God to makes us realize great music soothes the soul, and can raise our spirit
about her grandad who died recently
Beautiful 🥰🥰🥰
:-)) Love
@@elishaannmusic - You are welcome. :-)
Please view Angelina singing "Young and Beautiful" and " I Have Nothing"
What I know this song is dedicated to his grandpa who is passed away thanks for your reaction
(now she's gonna see my thought on this somewhere and think I'm a loon or something but it cleared up the line from MM for me HA HA)
You'll find that AJ has an amazing range of techniques allll in her back pocket - AAAAnd she seems to have an almost unnatural ability to pull and use JUST the right ones for each song she performs - I really do believe you will have a lot of fun analyzing her performances. Annnyway, I'm sure others will suggest various of her performances ... so, here are a couple of my favorites for your consideration (note: ages listed may be a year off either direction LOL) ... FIRST!! I Put A Spell on You !! (9 y/o)
"I Put A Spell On You" here: th-cam.com/video/nwFloCPXzCs/w-d-xo.html ...
Gloomy Sunday (7 y/o) Rezső Seress and popularized by Billie Holiday th-cam.com/video/d3gSho9yf88/w-d-xo.html - note: this was her audition piece for Norway's Got Talent (which she won at 8)
Feelin' Good (10 y/o) Newley/Bricusse - th-cam.com/video/p8kAL-sGJx8/w-d-xo.html - just watch her comfort and work with the camera!! At TEN!!
Faded (not sure but someone said 10) live with and by Alan Walker - th-cam.com/video/k_obf1BTBtE/w-d-xo.html
Back To Black (9 or 10 y/o) Winehouse/Ronson cover - th-cam.com/video/ICY1uJe15cM/w-d-xo.html - warning, she rewrote the lyrics at the behest of her mother who felt that Amy's original were not appropriate for a 10 y/o young lady.
I have Nothing (12 y/o) a Whitney - th-cam.com/video/eTcvvO6B3Io/w-d-xo.html
Fly Me To The Moon (12 y/o) a Sinatra(?) cover - th-cam.com/video/OMkwoqUNNkE/w-d-xo.html
I'm Still Holding out for You (12 or 13 y/o) Baby Fuzz cover - th-cam.com/video/Dv8mjCh5iiE/w-d-xo.html
All of Me (12 or 13) Legend - cover - th-cam.com/video/oEeEurjqdWg/w-d-xo.html
Stay (12 or 13) Rihanna - cover - th-cam.com/video/_GSVPvCy3Yg/w-d-xo.html
Wicked Game (maybe 13 y/o - not sure) Chris Isaak - cover (just her and her piano - nice) th-cam.com/video/5IAMF4FDfw4/w-d-xo.html
Valerie (13 y/o) A.Harding, B.Chowdhury, D.McCabe, R.Pritchard, S.Payne - popularized by Any Winehouse - cover - th-cam.com/video/sqmJLkgk2Ik/w-d-xo.html (hint, her little sister is the dancer LOL)
I'd Rather Go Blind (13 y/o) Jordan/Foster/Etta James cover - th-cam.com/video/pK8mMXQb3_I/w-d-xo.html
I see you've already done All I Ask (15 y/o) and her original, Million Miles (14 or 15 y/o) so I'll drop them from y list - HOWEVER, you might want to at least watch the final video of MM - it is WAY better done than 99% of the music videos out there in that is a subtle but true visual allegory of the song - it brings you even further INTO the piece with her ... but, a heads up, ya may choke up just a bit when she lets out that defiant warrior's scream towards the end ... ... I mean, of course I didn't ... I'm a guy .... but young ladies might :-) th-cam.com/video/XA1_CUaM52I/w-d-xo.html
7th Heaven (15 y/o) original - th-cam.com/video/bM8DzMRbiIc/w-d-xo.html
... and just for fun how about one waaaayyy back when she was 6 - I heard this was her first booth experience - not sure but certainly an early visit heh heh ... you can hear that it's a child but you can also hear the promise of a singer for sure!
I Who Have Nothing (6 or 7 y/o) "Uno dei Tanti" cover - th-cam.com/video/RjQZKBpVaes/w-d-xo.html
Great reaction and analysis. Glad I subscribed to your channel. 😄
Please do make a cover of this Elisha. This is such a beautiful song that lovely singers like yourself can help get this out there some more. Thanks for your interesting and heartfelt reaction.
🌟⭐️⭐️🌟⭐️
Great reaction again, Elisha.
Here's what Angelina said about this song:
“This song is dedicated to anyone who has lost a loved one. I wrote this song thinking about all the great memories I had with my grandpa and
how much it hurts to lose someone. I hope this song finds a place in your heart, as it comes straight from mine."
Since you did this anthem to loss of loved people you can react to her other original song released almost at the same time "7th Heaven"

oh, btw, the singer-songwriter Soundofdakota who contributed to the making of Million Miles expressed upon its releases:

It her sang and melodi.
Song is to her maternal grandfather who passed. She says this song is to all those who have lost a loved one.
This is a very sweet and very intense song dedicated with infinite love to the missing grandfather and to all the people who have lost someone, but it is also a song full of hope, with beautiful lyrics, especially if you think it was written by a 14 year old girl ❤️ ❤️
If you like, here you can find her latest original song, she has been released in April, "7th Heaven", it will leave you amazed again.

Grandfather passed away and sing tribute to him!

'Who is she singing to'?.....she's singing to you.
