    To anybody reading this there is hope!! I had post concussion syndrome for 9 months!! I couldn't think, walk straight, massive headaches, and memory loss. I now feel 100 percent back to my old self. Trust me all it takes is TIME! If your struggling just please hold on!!

      Same with me but I hit my head again and it came back worse. The problem seems to lie in the top bone of your neck the atlas being knocked out of position. You can go to an upper cervical chiropractor they take X rays to check the atlas then figure out the direction to gently tap it back into place.

      @@DylandontplayYes I had it again until I saw a NUCCA chiropractor. I didn't even hit my head very hard the issue was in my neck.

    This has been a hard eye opening journey. I had a skiing accident in March of 2020. Still dealing with many concussion symptoms. Trying to stay positive.
    Thanks for the video the more info is always appreciated.

    Did you feel like your "old self" after this treatment? If so then this better be real because I'm tired of spending so much money on stuff that doesn't work. I'm kinda desperate at this point and just want my old life back.

      Ilir Cami I’m 100% cured now

    • @r-7012
      @r-7012 4 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Ilir Cami My symptoms were horrendous. Dizziness, fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, feeling like you’re never present in conversations, depersonalization, depression, personality changes, just to name a few. I was like a whole nother person when I went through this. It makes sense because your brain controls everything about you. But after getting let down by so many typical doctors who have zero understanding of brain functionality, I started doing deep research and found a chiropractic neurologist that specializes in functional neurology. They did an intensive diagnostic test on my eye movements (the eyes are the window to your brain) and figured out which part of my brain needed rehabilitation. Based on what part of your brain is low functioning, they customize the brain exercises for you to complete in a matter of weeks which will remap your brain and form new connections. This is called neuroplasticity and chiropractic neurologists do this with patients that suffer with TBIs. Unfortunately you don’t normally hear about this because mainstream medicine teaches doctors to only look for structural changes and assumes that if you have an okay MRI, then you must be fine. If you don’t mind me asking, Are you suffering with PCS?

    • @r-7012
      @r-7012 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Ilir Cami Did that Doctor ever even try to examine you and see what’s going on through the diagnostic testing? If no then that’s a little bizarre of him to say. Like you said, there are people that have had PCS much longer than you and still recovered. Look up Daniel Carcillo... That guy sustained so many head injuries playing hockey since the mid 2000s and even he got better after going to Plasticity Brain Centers in Orlando. Start researching other people and chiropractic neurologist and even if you gotta travel, it’s probably worth it. And if I had to refer you to a few TH-cam channels of some doctors who are VERY knowledgeable on PCS, I would really recommend you watch Dr Gabella. She knows a lot and is also Carrick trained. Also start researching other Chiropractic Neurologists ASAP.

    • @r-7012
      @r-7012 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Ilir Cami And what were your results on that diagnostic test? Did he ever specify which areas of your brain were impacted? That’s kind of weird that all he did was adjust you and didn’t do anything neurological with you.

      @@r-7012 Hey man. I've been dealing with visual symptoms, floaters in my eyes, and soul-crushing depression for about 10 months since my concussion. I'm so glad to hear you got better. I think I've seen you comment on a few videos so you are giving me hope. Do you have any specific Chiropractic Neurologist recommendations for the New York metropolitan area? Or the Northeastern US in general?

  • @blanebostock

    Thanks. I'm at three months, feel an overall improvement, but still have stretches where I feel like I'm sleepwalking, disoriented. I will keep doing my PT and I found a wonderful Russian spa that really helps with the pain. Intense heat alternating with
    intense cold helps me every time. At home I go from the heat of a hair-dryer to the cold of ice in a cooler- use a towel or washcloth, also hot showers and cold packs. I still have low energy, but I know I'm slowly recovering. I was thrown from four feet in the air by a malfunctioning inversion table onto the back of my head. My hand was stuck in the lock mechanism as I fell, so I couldn't break my fall. I'm lucky I didn't break my neck. My CAT scan showed nothing either. Thanks again, sorry you had to suffer so long.
