Jay I am SO happy that youre doing this build too. When I saw it I thought it was the heir apparent to our old build. I can't wait to play the same thing.
Oh damn... for 14 days straight i was sure about playing a Infernalist but this video REALLY made me consider going for a Blood Mage Bleed Bow- type of build .. It seems so freaking cool but I dont know how strong it will be.
brother i respec'd to this build and i am STRUGGLING at lvl 54 i cant clear basic camps in act 2 cruel. I am working on getting the support gems i need, but i mean i feel very underpowered. Is there something that makes getting to end game easier? When i snipe the bosses it does like maybe 2-5k, probably 1/20th of what yours is doing.
there's no chance to bleed support, how play? no play? sad me and what skill would u use to proc bleed early game? im currently using lightning arrow w brutality and lacerate to proc bleeding..
You would need to use a Crossbow for Flash Shock Grenade and Crossbow exclusive gems, you would most likely be swapping between bow and crossbow for different skills!
i was thinking of doing something like blood mage bleed bow :D if the blood mage bleed is different to the normal bleed i can probably double dip bleep and of course a lot life stack and leech/regen from blood mage :D
Bleed was changed. Ailments now scale with the hit of the damage. Bleed is 75% of the total of the hit damage. Over 5 seconds. You also can’t respect ascendancy, and you cannot level up support gems. Don’t listen to this guy chat. He doesn’t know anything lmao
Going to fact-check this fact-check: 1. Ailments have always scaled with the hit of the damage (even in PoE 1), I have never said otherwise. 2. From the PoE 2 DB datamine, "The base Magnitude of Bleeding is Physical damage per second equal to 15% of the Physical damage of the hit that inflicted it". In PoE 1 it is "Potential damage from one bleed application is based on the base physical damage of attack that caused it: 70% per second if the target is standing still (reduced to 10% if an enemy monster applied it)." This means the "hit" damage for Bleed matters much less in PoE 2 than it does in PoE 1, almost 5 times less. 3. You CAN respec ascendancy points within the same class, you CANNOT respec into another ascendancy i.e. Witch Hunter into Gemling Legionnaire etc. (I only ever mention changing nodes within the Ascendancy) 4. You are right with being unable to level support gems, this will be something to get used to. I appreciate you trying to make sure the information in this video is accurate, but you should do some more of your own research before jumping out of the bushes and yelling "Gotcha!".
Always happy to see your Bleed builds! Hope you will enjoy POE2! Will check your progress.

Last min build for me. Thanks!

I'll be sure to try both versions and find out which one feels better!
Best bleed bow stuff on youtube, no glaze
"I'm getting glazed!"
Bleed looks good. I'll try poison/armour break build. Maybe ad bleed if I can.
I’m going to do bleed bow blood mage. Snipe for guaranteed crit and extra crit bonus for bigger bleed and volley vortex for clear
Not thinking crit bleed is good with stuff like perfectly placed knife?
Played one of your bleed bow builds in the totem league got it to 98
This time you can go for 100 ;)

do you have a passive tree for blood mage?)
Sorry if it was answered in the video: How do you deal with enemies that have energy shield? Is there a workaround to apply bleed to them?
Bleed was changed in PoE 2, it now goes through ES similar to Chaos Damage
@JayTX Yes but how do you inflict Bleed in the first place on an enemy that has ES? Since only hits that damage Life can inflict bleeds.
With what skills are You leveling...to 52
Death, Taxes, JayTX bleedbow

Chance to Bleed is now Lacerate, I used the default Bow Shot attack as it doesnt cost mana and is very decent until you get Rain of Arrows at 31
Its work with only crosbow ? Or must have use bow?

Double-dipping and stacking bleed would be INSANE
bleed bow, mad lad
