You've been quite helpful with my hitch install, 2006 BMW x3, less than 50k miles. It's my new mobile business rig now! Thanks for the great vids!

Wow, Eric, that makes me very happy! Dealing with the plastic body parts was the real fiddly part for me. Only 50K miles??? That's like brand new! Thanks and good luck with your business!

Thanks for the video. Light connectors are smaller in Post LCI models.

Thanks! Since we lost our pickup truck, the X3 is going to have to step up and get busy towing!

Thank you for the video. I used it to install on my X3.
I did have an issue with my brake light on my dash coming on.
Would you happen to know what caused this? Or how to fix it?
My guess was a weak ground spot but I moved the ground directly to the unpainted metal and the dash light remains on?
    Thanks for any feedback!

Electrical problems can be frustrating. Did you try disconnecting the new wiring in reverse order to see which connection triggered the dash light? I'm no mechanic, sorry!

I was able to reset the dash light and it has stayed off. Thanks for your help Stan!

You should never use quick connectors for a permanent connection as they will get hot over time and may cause a fire. Not good under the floor in the rear of a car. 😅
