How to bead - ladder stitch

How to start a ladder stitch strip the easy way. I was taught this method by a local beader and do not know who the originator of this method is but, it is my preferred way of starting a Ladder Stitch strip.

I learned how to do Cubic Right Angle Weave by following your videos and I was just learning how to bead, so thanks very much.
Just a suggestion when you use your phone to record your tutorial, please turn your phone to the landscape position so that it will take up the whole screen rather than this very thin strip of video. Thanks
