My mother used to bead and I'm trying to get her interested again, she used to make Santa clauses earrings that were to die for. I tried to make her jealous by saying you were going to teach me, she still hasnt takin the bait.

That sucks. I saw something similar with my father-in-law. It's sad and disturbing to see a loved one lose their old passions, but hopefully your mum will get some joy from seeing you take up the torch x

Should tell people what size beads you are using, needle, thread, etc ....this isn't helpful without that information. And why are you whispering
