Great tutorial, but I have a question: What do you do when the pattern says an even amount of beads? Then both your threadends are at the bottom. Do you just flip it so you needlethread is pointing up? What do you do then with the tailend because as I understand it it's supposed to point down?
It would be great if the lesson included how you step up to the next row and follow it with a few rows so that it actually sinks in. I want to make dangle fringe beaded earnings and I need to know how to step up....to create a pyramid. I noticed many of the youtube video don't show that step and it is useless for people who are beginners.
After you have the base of the ladder stitch, you then go into the brick stitch to build layers.
Check that out on youtube Crystaldreams. Tutorial of making dangly earrings. Even though in Spanish you can understand just by watching. Very good.
