So I used your advice and none of that worked. BUT while I had my hood up my daughter heard a hissing sound. A tube was disconnected, I’m sure part of the EVA system. The clam rusted off. So I reclaimed and we are back in business. Would have gone straight to a mechanic if I hadn’t started poking around from your videos! Thanks!

Years ago I had the same problem in a mini metro and the problem was over filling the petrol tank which was blocking the cap breather and taking cap off there was a hiss and then put cap back on it was fine .

Car fuel tanks are meant to build up pressure to stop vapor leaking to atmosphere, but there is a pressure relief valve to let excess pressure out, and they also have a valve going the other way to let air into the tank when either the ambient temperature drops, or you use up the fuel.

Got a similar issue with my 07 Corolla Verso. Intermittent cutting out and a smell of petrol. Got some things to look for now. Cheers.

It's booked in for repair next week and good to have reassurance it's OK to drive for now. (I don't have the kangaroo problem just the funny smell when filling up).

You installed a Valeo fuel cap but the link on Amazon is for a different brand. Any issue with Valeo?

Which gear oil-75w-80, 75w-85, or 75w-90-is best for a 2009 Yaris with a 1.3 MMT transmission? I want smooth gear shifts and good performance.
Most Yaris users online say 75w-90 isn't great for MMT transmissions; it's better for manual gearboxes.
The Yaris manual suggests using only single-grade 75W oil.

When I open my petrol cap I get a lot of pressure in the tank. On these cars do you know what could cause high idling. When cold my car is idling about 1500rpm then it goes down to 1100rpm.

Sir, is it normal for my Vitz 2015 with a CVT, that it jerks 2 times when releasing the accelerator , and when accelerating again. My mechanic said it was normal but its bothering me a lot. recently serviced .

Bit of a death wish there at 4.20 ish is it not !!
Sticking your head under a car eith no axle stands in place is pretty basic i would have thought.
Certainly not something to show others in a 'how to do ' video i would have thought .
    Glad you survived unscathed 👍
