If neither the heat or cold will turn the compressor or fan on and instead there is a large solid blinking bar under the inside temp what does that mean?
I needed to hear this because the 2 idiots who put mine in put it in incorrectly and the temperature is set higher on it than it actually is. I need to put it at the real temperature. Previously I had a mercury thermostat and there was something wrong with the heater but they didn’t know how to fix it so they just changed my thermostat. And I demanded that thermostat to be put in but now it’s gone.
Hi John, awesome video! My Home Pro 3000 from like 4pm-3am would gradually increase to 81 degrees. We have it set at 75 degrees. Could this be a problem with the thermostat?
@@quagmire5765 i don’t now the exact term for the fixing but there’s a pipe on the side of my house where the water from the AC comes out. It just needed to be flushed out because there was a lot of gunk building up over the years. I had a guy come do it but I’m sure there’s some tutorials on TH-cam about it
My thermostat light turns on then off about every minute when it is off. This just started. What’s going on with that. The manual doesn’t mention this.
What should you do if the timeline is on 77 and the room is on 83 and you can’t seem to put the room down to 77.
So what should we set up during winters is it setup function/ system test

What could be happing if it's working just fine and every now and then it'll start blowing cold air when it's set to heat?
Right? same thing happening to me?!

You said, "To the left is for electric or heat pump. To the right is for gas or oil." It looks to me like it is the opposite of what you said.

This just happened to me…
