One of the toughest guys i know is like 4'9. He's one of the most popular guys at my school, and sometimes people joke about his height but nobody really messes with him bc he's confident in himself and he's overall just a good person. The people who really matter in life won't care about your height.

Just came out as non-binary to both my parents. They told me they were proud of me and that they loved me no matter what. We're having a conversation about binders/name changes and such tonight. Lots of love to all the ftm, mtf, or non-binary teens out there. Wish you all luck in your journeys ❤

You are so lucky. I came out as ftm and my mom said I was crazy so I was in depression for sometime. But thing is unlike a lot of trans man I don’t want people to know I’m trans. Trust me I’m don’t hate trans people I think they are awesome. But I just hate to think that at one pint of my life. The early parts I was a female. I want to think of myself as a male from the moment I was born to the moment I die. But in reality I will have to tell some people I’m trans. I hope no body thinks I’m discriminating or hate the trans or lgbtq community I respect and think all y’all are awesome people. It’s it’s what I think of myself. No attack worth hate comments. itsjay I know this comment is a little late but one thing you can do is sports bras. Ones with no padding and you might need 2 depending on how much you have "going on". For me I need 2, and what I do is I wear one forward facing and regularly, and the other one layered over it backwards. The first one facing forward being my regular size, and the one flipped backwards is a size smaller. This is safe, and doesn't do as much compression as a binder could ever do. Im a size C and with a baggy tshirt and this method it looks completely flat! Also my ribs, or lungs dont hurt doing this. I've been doing it this way for about 2 years now 12+ hours a day normally. I really recommend this method if you're trying to bind with no binder. Good luck B)

I'm a 32 D, And I've had my gc2b binder for about 6 months now. Well, I've worn it every day, and for defiantly more that 9 hours at a time,(DON'T BE RISKY LIKE ME THOUGH😂), and I've only ever had one issue with it. Which went away by simply taking it off for about 10 minutes. It's perfect, I love wearing it, it's comfortable, it feels like a sports bra and it makes my chest look completely flat. It is my first and only binder ever, I guess I'm one of the lucky ones👌
I wear those binders and they used to be quite good but my chest isn't really flat now? I think I'm a c/d size and I bought mine in a L size. Do you have any advice? should I just buy another? I've had it for over 6 months now.
I have a GC2B binder too and for almost 10 months.. it's pretty well for me, my chest flat now more than sport bra.. however I'm a small person so I'm A/B cup =P but I like to be completely somehow flat.
I tried the gc2b and it made my my double d's into about a b so idk I didn't like it waste of money

Funky colored button ups are my lifesaver as well, especially on my more dysphoric days. Just buying clothes from the mens department in general makes everything better honestly
My mother can't know that I think I'm a male and she won't let me cut my hair because she says it will make me look like a boy so idk what to do

Tell her(for now) : Mom, plenty of girls can have short hair keeping it long is doing me no good and trimming or cutting it will do no harm.
You will feel complimented if thats all it takes to "look male" but she won't know that, long hair can be a pain its hot it drags water soaks with sweat hangs in your face blinds your eyes just on and on. Short hair is MUCH easier to wear and manage.

Show her more masculine cuts on women she'll think it's a feminist thing. Though I can't help if it doesnt work. And for binders, I used to tell my mom they were for cosplay (anime boys and male TV show actors). I just came out recently tho so my mom buys or lets me buy whatever I need. I'm a 30i and I'm a little scared to try binding again but I'm hoping I can get one that fits right. 😁 I really help I'm not too late and that this helps.

binding tip: bind for your body type. if you're 200 pounds you're not going to have a completely flat chest, there's gonna be some chub in there whether you're male or female and making your chest completely flat can be self destructive if that's not your body type

Shaving doesn't actually do anything for your facial hair, besides cutting it. But if it makes you feel better, feel free to do that.

Woah, I guess I am sort of lucky, my voice is freaky deep... When I was 7 and on a youth choir I had the deepest voice out of all the 6-10 year olds... Plus I am a pretty hairy person... I am supersized in everything hair, height, voice and unfortunately breasts too... Eh I'm a 2 for 3!
Hi Sam! I really love all of your videos, as I tend to come here to learn what's new in the community (since I'm not super active myself) and to gain tips on how to keep my transition going. But I looked through a bunch of your videos, and I haven't really seen anything about how to conceal my hips. My hips are pretty wide, and I can't really wear jeans anymore because I get to scared that I'm not passing. Do you have any tips about how much to exercise to lose hip fat, or just anything about concealing wide hips?

i never thought about this... i can't think of any ways to conceal that, maybe wear pants a bit lower? i probably sound stupid because i haven't dealt with this but maybe try that and a longer shirt. or just longer shirts? lmk if anything works
Okay, I'll try that. Ty Turner mentioned wearing board shorts (but I don't have any), so I might have to invest in those. But besides, I think wearing my pants somewhat low and wearing a long t-shirt will let me blend in with the hipsters.
Hey alex. This was something that I really struggled with pre-T and my hips were something i was EXTREMELY dysphoric about and was honestly probably the biggest reason i started taking T. pre-t i think the biggest ways i dealt with this was wearing pants that were a little too big--like carhartts or other pants that are much less slim around my upper thighs. if i wore bigger pants and wore them lower, then it would a lot of times conceal my hips. I also coupled this with bigger shirts or layering shirts in the winter because that definitely takes out a lot of figure. i have a hard time with exercising because of body stuff, but maybe if you work more on making your thighs bigger than itll look a little more congruent? i think the key with body fat distribution is just trying to make spaces look more level, so anyway to do that is kind of key. i hope that helps!
Cargo pants! I have pretty wide hips and they're the one thing I can think of that helps. Board shorts help too. Longer shirts are good too as others mentioned. Wearing a button up shirt that's unbuttoned and fairly long works wonders from my experience. You could also invest in compression shorts to squeeze your hips in a little.
As far as exercises go, squats, lunges, and hip raises are all good. I've lost a bunch of weight on my hips after I did some of these. Basically any exercise in the lower parts of your body will help.

I really agree with the binding. I used a cheap binder from ebay that has now fucked up my ribs to the extent where I can't bind anymore - fortunately its not worse than that, because I stopped in time. But yeah, I can't bind now and that sucks. So be careful everyone

I know this video is super old, so nobody's gonna respond. But I have always felt that I'm not masculine enough. Wearing "girly" colors or "girly" patterns makes me very uncomfortable. Luckily, I have a low vocal range, so I'm not very dysphoric there. I've been trans for about a year, and I'm not out to my parents, because they are very unsupportive. They are becoming increasingly suspicious, and have been calling me LGBT slurs. I honestly don't know what to do.

I bought a binder that I thought was going to be slightly too big cause I was sort of between sizes and went for the larger one. It fits perfectly and makes my chest look amazing! I love it. Feel so hot when I wear it.
So, I have my uncle that is helping me with being comfortable with me being trans, and he's very accepting, and he's looking for a binder and trunks (I wear skinny jeans all the time so no boxers.) for me, and he's using my preferred pronouns and my preferred name. He's helping me ease into telling my mom and my grandma, and aunt and dad. My mom thinks I'm too young to decide for myself with these things, (I'm 12) so she'll be one of the last people I come out to. But overall she's not a very mom to me, my grandma is, but still, and I hope that anyone who is going through what I am can find a family member, or someone who accepts you for you.

So I have on and off dysphoria. I have permanent chest dysphoria but it can be mild or heavy whenever. If I identify myself as trans or non binary itll feel good for a few days and then weird, then I'd go back to female pronouns and being uncomfortable. I want to bind but my parents wont let me until I'm fully developed but the problem is when I'm fully developed my breast will be huge to the point where binders dont work because of genetics from my mum. And another thing, how do I get people to stop talking badly about me one group chat because I'm questioning myself..? These are people I considered my friends at one point and it hurts so goddamn much... someone please tell my wtf is up with me
Honestly, I transitioned as a teen. You need to talk to a therapist. And look inside yourself. And figure out if you can see yourself as an Adult man, or as an adult woman.

So yesterday my mom got a polo shirt for me, I wore it and my chest didn't flat. IDK out of nowhere I got the line in my head which u said "It's all about layers" so I wore a T-shirt inside that Polo T-shirt and boom. Guess who's chest is flat and got thier shoulders a bit wide. :)

There are no genderless bathrooms, there are only male and female, and the teachers make me go to the girls. I can’t wait until secondary school (In eight months) where I can get a fresh start and no one will know I was born female.

i came out to my mom a while ago, but I don’t think she is taking me seriously. i’m glad she’s at least tolerating it, but she won’t let me cut my hair and I’m too afraid to ask about a binder or anything like that.

you should talk about how when people think they are giving a compliment, and say things like, "you wouldn't even know your a girl!" or "wow, I would have never guessed you were born a girl", etc. but things like that are not actually a compliment.

I'd find it reassuring if people told me that more often, when they don't I feel self conscious. Compliments and insults are subjective.

Sometimes I am REALLY close to passing as male in public, but then my fucking parents ruin it. One time I was at a restaurant, and the server asked, "what can I get for you, young man?" And then my MOM said, "SHE'S gonna have," Like, I can order myself, and you just ruined it. I have had MULTIPLE conversations with her, but she always says, "I CAN'T call you Cameron". She won't even try. She has the ability to say Cameron, why can't she call me it?

My mum has said she’ll order the binder I’ve asked for and I’m so excited! I’ve been using sports bras for months and they just don’t work. I’m using GC2B (getting the Nude no4 half binder). Just so excited for it :) I’m always scared I’m not passing, especially in school where I get so much hate. I’m just trying to ignore it and keep fighting :)
Hey Sam maybe for binders you should suggest the website GC2B in one of your videos. I have a binder from there and it binds really well and doesn't roll up👍 and it doesn't hurt👍 it has never hurt me😎
I have a pretty big chest, but I've gotten more used to my binder. I pass fairly well, I think, if I wear something to hide my binder better. My voice doesn't hate me too much, but I'm in Tae Kwon do (they say ma'am and sir ALL THE TIME and I can't come out bc my dad, brother, sister, and lower-key my mom all hate it) and that doesn't help (also I can't wear my binder there). I do naturally have facial hair, though, which is weird for how pale I am. I mean, it's visible enough that people have commented on my 'stache. It's awesome, and I have a little bit of more-than-just-peach-fuzz on my chin and jaw line. I think I have a medical condition... Pros and cons, people.

Dear FTM's in comments: If your parents won't let you get a chest binder, I always used a waist training belt! X3 They work good and are only like 10$. You can just say you are getting it for your belly, but use it on your chest. Obviously they are a little bit thicker, and not perfect, but it worked for me :)
also, if it's possible, try to work out your arms and shoulders to get a broader look! It's a slow process, but it works. I'm genderfluid BUT I'm more masculine than feminine, so I'm working on the masculine look.

I don't know what this means and lol I'm kind of happy because I've heard that happens around this time in male puberty. But how? I thought I may have a bit more testosterone in my body than first thought, but I don't know. Just wondering if you would know why. Thanks :)
There’s an app for MTF girls called Eva MTF to make your voice higher and one for FTM guys called Eva FTM to make your voice lower. Hope this helps!

I have a binder, I’m called max, I have boxers, I’m getting male clothing, and.... they won’t call me male until I’m alittle bit older, but I’m 14 and I’ve known since I was in 3rd grade.but I can’t do anything about my chest, shark week, not having friends because I’m homeschooled.
