I have no incentive to go to the overworld unless it’s for Blindseer or upgrading mantras. I literally unlock bell around level 15-16 through diluven with VoT and faster prog and I get to avoid voidwalker vermin? They should add something to the overworld to make it fun again like how it was during verse 1.
The only thing fun about verse 1 was that no one knew what they were doing I have to say I had tons of fun figuring stuff out during the 1200s people were terrified of the depths so that’s why it seems so much better than it does now. The problem deepwoken has now is that the depths is supposed to be this “high risk high reward” thing and they can’t really implement that into the overworld.
@@SomeNormalName nah maybe they should add like a voidwalker base in the depths and voidwalkers can take bounties there, only it would send them down to layer two for invasions/only taking bounties for people higher level than them(seeing as most people who do layer two are max levels.) this would make the depths seem more scary and seem more risky than overworld.

And the only unique enemy that spawns there is a horrible boss with buggy attacks that fling it across the entire map and barely fits the quality of a “boss”
I think they should add a ton of new boats, have them work like armors where you need to find schematics for them and then get ingredients atop of the note cost, and have them have just a ton of new features, with mix and matched stats. Maybe even add quests to get certain special schematics based on npcs or entire factions. Secret bone ship from layer 2???? Frostdraw cannons???? would be awesomesauce
the moment we get something fun it's ruined because of chime's balancing needs. someone cooks up a cancer build that only works in chime and suddenly a whole system needs to get gutted
REAL, shit only gets buffed/nerfed depending on Chime and Overworld is completely left untouched. Ice Eruption Lava Serpent Crystallisation with Gravity Bell is still utterly fucking stupid. Potions ONLY got nerfed because Saltchemist allow you to use them in Chime. They were always overpowered, but no one gave a fuck about it because it didn't touch them in their private server we call Chime. I say that as a potions/bombs main. Wiping people by chugging 2 insanity + no ether potions at people is absolutely fair and balanced. Especially on my artillery thundercall slot. (Thanks heroblades for allowing me to save 80 points, definitely not broken.)
From the slight teaser that Arch showed us, Conquest is quite literally going to be as removed from the game as Battle Royale is, except from what it sounds like, you actually get rewards from it. The teaser was a Talent shop, so you probably don't even bring(or risk losing) your builds in it. So much for the overworld, I guess?
i reckon a cool sea event would be A small arena opens up in the middle of the sea, you go onto it and you are challenged with fighting npcs equivalent to your depths trial but enforcers are squibbos

When I first picked up deepwoken I thought the place "Crypt of the unbroken" and luminants and depths was so interesting, I thought it was massive and had a story in it. Now it's just a glorified mini open world with sailing and parrying
they added blacksteel pirate towers, mabye some blacksteel pirate boats that will attack you, there can also be a blacksteel port island that randomly spawn that you can raid and it would kinda be like a duengon, sorta like a duke duengon
Something that could make the seas a lot more interesting is being able to use the guild base as a boat, a giant fortress on the seas like they were supposed to be!
I think they should add all the npcs in the boats so that it feels more alive or something so dinghy would have none sloop would have none but all the other boats would have npcs in the hull like a guild base
Ngl random island spawning is such a good idea for deepwoken, especially since its a roguelike and theres very low risk since everyone knows what to expect

Bro all they gotta do is add a bigger whirlpool into the void sea, that sucks everyone in to a new server where they're in a green like area where its like an abadoned shipyard with ghost ships and shit, idk if theyll be water or not, but being in that realm, or making it a wave survival sounds hella fun, it could have its own story where you gotta shoot with cannons or sum, with kaido being a real boss fight, with cool loot at the end, itll give a bit more fun into acquring pentras anchor, or introduce a new weapons to the game like ghostlock (gun) a saber/cleaver thingy (spooky gangplank inspired weapon) and petras anchor maybe a rework or sum. idk just yappin a little, but it sounds fun and makes void sea have more depth than just an ardour and ferryman
1. Really tough to ask for anything right now from devs who are already almost half a year late for a pvp mode they promised a year ago. 2. Potions were always broken, you just never participated in ganks where people actually were trying to win and they were hard to make and sustain for a reason. New oath needed a nerf and just cause your salty you can’t cheese your way to victory anymore doesn’t mean your right. 3. The boat idea is actually valid. Let me do something meaningful rather than just afk while staring at a map.
Just make sailing more challenging, you HAVE to wind your sails to move, add a more detailed ocean system with waves and etc, add anchors to boats, add crew members to every part of the map that you can hire for your ship
The issue is that theirs nothing in the water to actually feed players. Arcane Odyssey did all this but it actually had events that were worth the reward. If they made sailing more challenging people would just find it tedious and literally not touch the overworld at all
Simple depth update slow because these alot of reason 1 : What always happens is that bugs lead to you dying on the map in a bullshit way, most recently they added a feature that prevents you from dying in pve if you're over 65% and lost internet or quit game 2 : They tested NPCs and built the story as logically as possible, featuring items rather than games like Blox Fruit that simply build maps and add accessories to sell. 3 : Long updates can add more ideas to the game and future updates, they focus on the fun and balance of the game
I think like 99% of my builds for the past months (many many months) have always just been Deepbound. Have rarely touched Overworld unless its for Chime or some random thing related to some build.
Thats why im making an entire new game from scratch, primarily based on Exploration and Survavaling on an ALIVE WORLD Like arcane odyssey but permadeath and with a more grounded and realistic gameplay and ideas. While also having a similar lore style to deepwoken I have a bunch of things done and im really happy with my results but Im starting to feel that permadeath doesnt really belong in a game like this. You could say is for making the risk of dying something real, yeah that would be a good statement. But the problem comes when it becames just something that makes you rage quit the game and I dont know how to fix that 😭 If Deepwoken is really a roguelike then the devs should find some way to make the whole gameplay(the progression, build making AND EXPLORATION) tied to wiping and make wiping fun. Like making stuff being blocked unless you wiped on certain conditions. So when you wipe you atleast unlocked something that feels real, not only just the more """skill""" you got because that can be easily obtained without wiping(Like in the trial of one for example) Deepwoken right now is more focused on the progress more than the ending, deepwoken devs should start making the ending more fun(and too, adding a real endgame) and making the progress better and more complex and vivid. Because right now deepwoken progression lasts a BUNCH of time for nothing
If you want permadeath, add new content behind it like any other roguelike. Otherwise you could have a semi-permadeath, where it doesn’t kick in until later levels, or you don’t wipe at all but have significant downsides to death.

But the game has no Leveling because progression is tied on exploration, stats and other things like equipment or magical attack ideas and ""talents"". So idrk how I would be doing those ideas, but adding content behind wiping is a step on the right direction. I like the idea of dying and learning that I've obtained a bunch of things I can try now that im creating a new character.
You ask for all these stuff to make the Overworld/Sea to be more interactive but you don’t understand that after a week it will get annoying. When they added Lightning Strikes and Sea Events, it was annoying and a hassle after the first time. Once people understand and master a mechanic it will get boring and tedious

only reason i don't prog in the overworld anymore is due to voidwalkers like damn bro i understand that pvp is a core part of the game but don't push it to the level where i lose a life every 5 damn minutes (South America player btw so yeah my ping is 250-600), i think a way to solving this is by making it so you don't get hunted by voidwalkers if you get positive rep with eylis (atleast above friend) and had done some bounties for them (maybe 2 or 3, less than tacet for sure)
Ok most of the time you cook, this time its in the middle, im not sure you understand how limited roblox can be at times. I do think they should add like pilot ships and floating islands to bring more interesting lands and such because yes the overworld can be boring. But some of the things you said sound good on paper but would probably be garbage in game😅
Limitation breeds creativity, and it's not like anything I said in the video hasn't been done before on roblox. The real problem is the devs not working on content that already exists unless it affects them or becomes really obvious, idk if you saw the most recent CC event but it was a large ship battle which was unplayable because of how poorly the sea is optimized, shortly after that the sea was looked into, with updates like the waves bobbing your ship and heavy optimizations which should've came months ago.
bro is capping if you get jumped in the depths you can lose most of your hp before the fight even started with stupid assassination builds and also depths gankers are really common not rare

ok so here is some ideas: Make small islands as an event in void sea Make Ethiron harder fx: Make the void he comes up from an actualy void where you die, make less health packs, make the bridge at the end of floor 2, when you escape, collapse so you have to be quick (if you are more than 1, its individually activated) Make chasser spawn bounders but you can lure them to run over the edge.
