Attunement paths are paths that change the fundamental passive effect of an attunement. For example lava serpent changes flames burn debuff into explosions. You took the surge path which makes your lightning blue, instead of shocking enemies and stunning them, your lightning now jams rods into your enemies which when built up enough will explode into thunder damage. This thunder path will come with new talents youll get that will be focused around these lightning rods called surge stacks. 4. When fighting a megalodaunt (the thing every one in your comments says looks like rika 💀) pressing right click when dodging can cancel the dodge early which lets you keep the i-frames but you dont move too far from the monster and dont have too much endlag from dodging so you can do more attacks 5. Youre WAY overlevelled for lower erisia, you should find songseeker in the eastern luminent (basically another sea) or minityrsa.
Nah he needs to stay at lower erisia to farm the bandit camp and once he gets better to sharko cave then he can go to minityrsa to practice trial of one or he can go to songseek.

ANOTHER THING is that a blindfold 7:56 can be used for a oath called blindseer in which you see through a blindfold and it’s actually kind of op the only downside is that in order to level it up and get it’s moves you have to help people without oaths to pass the depths trial, personally blindseer is like my 2nd or 1st favorite oath but also because it’s really easy to get as you just get 40 willpower you climb to the top of etris and find some ruins with a big door that’s open or closed and you have to get to the big building in the back and talk to some glowing text with the blindfold on to get it but don’t get caught by the watchers gaze though as it’ll summon 2 lesser angels unlike the depths ones that summon 2 greater angels also one of the npcs in that cave you were in when you got the blindfold there is an NPC in some of the ruins that will tell you to find the purple flame or light I don’t fully remember but in the big building where you get blindseer the purple flame is in there in which you interact with it and come back to the NPC in the cave and talk to them which will give you a aerial dash which is much better for movement than a normal dash I REALLY HOPE THIS HELPS BECAUSE I SPENT TO LONG TYPING THIS THING. I also noticed that you were having trouble getting to the top of erisia so an easy way to get to it is to go to the sharko cave you were in at 10:41 and defeat both sharkos before climbing up after defeating the second one in which you go forward and go across the jump to the top of erisia idk why I’m so obligated to help you but yw
quick tips: your skills were blue because you got the talent "Surge Path: Unstable Capacitator" which basically removes the stun from thunder mantras but adds extra damage (not that straightforward, do some research about it) you can modify mantras by unequipping the mantra you want to modify through a campfire and putting it on a mantra modify table like the one in the etris mantra shop and putting the wanted modifiers on it(i would reccomend blast or magnet spark on electro carve since its pretty underwhelming at base) also you should go to the eastern luminant since youre kinda too high level for erisia

Hey HW, I have a few tips 1. You can only do Trial of One (To1) when you are level 1 and by yourself. You can do the trial at minityrsa, which I don't recommend going to. 2. I suggest using a wiki or trello for a map when you first start. 3. If you decide to look at the map you can go to the eastern luminanat to get better loot. High risk high reward. Personally I suggest miners landing where the mechasharko is. 4. If you find loot that is grayish-white keep but don't equip them, they are enchants. Once you have 3 enchanted items you can trade them for a random enchant on a weapon of your choice at greathive aretel. 5. Don't be scared to search things up. The game would take actual days to learn if you don't search the wiki for info. I hope this info helps
I forgot to add that if you end up in the depths there's a way out and it can be pretty easy depending on what level you are. Ex if you're power 20 it will be hard If you're power 1-15 it's quite easy
The trial of one is a good idea for learning how to fight monsters, however you can only go in there at level 1. Btw once you feel like you've started leveling up too slowly, try exploring the other half of Deepwoken's overworld, accessible by sailing into a giant gate. Also try clicking the question mark button on top of your screen. Also remember that if you see a person with a black tentacle aura going towards you you should leave the game with the button that takes you to the menu immediatly (if you leave through the button after pressing escape or just use alt f4 your character will still be there for a few seconds) and don't let them catch up to you, those are known as Voidwalkers and they got that origin through PVP, they take bounties and teleport to people around the map killing them for every kind of rewards so avoid them at all costs.

Here some tip from a deepwoken verse 1 to 2 felinor main. Alway prepare campfire or have campire in your inventory. Campfire is easy to craft just 1 wood and you need flint to make the campfire work when you place a campfire. Campfire provide rest by press E which can regen your hp and ether during resting. It is incredible useful while out of pvp or pve when you are in temporary safe moment. Voidwalker. They are the players who choose voidwalker origin and focus on pvp progress. If your power level more than 5 then voidwalker will started to hunt you as your bounty is available in the knives of eylis. The higher level you are the higher level of voidwalker coming for you. When Voidwalker has bounty on you. They will spawn near to you. They have black aura or black particles effect on them so you can easily recognise they also sometime voidwalker teleport near to you will have some whirring sound so you known they are coming. Here some tips for fighting or escape voidwalker. first when they approach you press exit before you get danger signal(if you leave the game when you still have danger signal the game will consider you die so you lost one life) . Second just fight them if you can grip them you will reward by a chest with good loot . Third let other player or npc deal with them. Some player will try to help or just super hate voidwalker and wanted to kill them. When voidwalker fight with other player. Use that moment to run away or just help them to kill voidwalker but has a risk that other voidwalker may join in. In some place such as etris or isle of virgil or summer isle. The guard will help you to kill voidwalker. Final tip if you manage to grind a voidwalker leave that server as fast as possible. Some voidwalker may come back with higher level or main slot/character or call their friend/guild/boyfriends to help them to gank you. Oh yeah forgot mention about reputation. If you manage get the knives of eylis good reputation by help them win during the knives of eylis verse etrean ship battle events by killing all the etrean guard(careful the knives of eylis NPC will attack you during the event so avoid fighting with them or just ignore them). This event often spawn on the sea. Keep help them win 4 or 5 time until you get a message about the knives of eylis no longer see you worth for fighting then voidwalker will no longer hunt you as your bounty gone and the knives of eylis NPC no longer hostile to you

The purple thing in ocean at 4:53 is called an artifact. They aren't that rare but if you bring them to the bank at Etris they give a lot of loot and money. As well as a chance for enchanted loot. I suggest looking around for them for a lil to get some extra equipment.
Yo, love to see you and Nano playing Deepwoken again. Don't be scared of being wiped it will be a learning experience and not gonna lie after wiping so many minmaxed build I'm not scared of wiping again. Anyways I recommend doing trial of one till you can complete it. Trial of one is a place where you fight basic monsters for a headstart in exp, learning trial of one will cause you to wipe so many times but over all worth it and learning it will definitely make you so many more times better at the game. Making it also so much more fun.

To put it in short, voidwalkers are apart of a faction called The Knives Of Eylis, and they can basically take a bounty, teleport close to their target, and hunt them down. Once they kill their target, they get rewards. You were his prey, and he was the predator.
Trial of one is a good idea, but you need to be power 1 to attempt it. It’s very difficult to learn, but once you do, it becomes much easier to progress new accounts and you learn some of the important monsters while doing it. Also ur lighting turned blue cuz u got surge path which is a good thing. Also when monsters make a “ding” noise and a red circle appears, that means it’s an attack you can’t block/parry, only dodge.

yes, do trial of one. it's great for beginners, will help you learn a wide variety of opponents, will sometimes drop good loot, and will get you to power 7 (with autodidact) right from the start. (you can only enter at level 1, and it's located in minitrysia)
8:07 you need to go to a place above the bandit camp in erisia and get in the building then go speak to the purple flame then go back to the guy and he will give you a very good mobility card. And dont die while trying to do it or else you will have to do it again.😊
What I actually recommend doing for the next video is head to the burning stones garden, there are golems there with really easy patterns but can do some good damage to you. Do the trial when you’ve only got wiped since it can only be done when your power one, remember it can only be done once per character so you have to start a new one too
The guy with swirls was a void walker aka a bounty hunter, also for thundercall i suggest thunder kick as its your only autoguard break when your mantras are fully leveled up You can only do the trial of one if your level one aswell, id suggest trying to get your bell, you get it by killing bosses alot then dieing in the depths and then itll revive you (not kidding) If you go the the eastern Luminant the exp gain there is alot higher but player and mobs are more dangerous

Afro ur lvl 10 that’s half way to max lvl u need to grind at a different place. I reccomend the song seeker isles the enemies are medium for your lvl and in there you get the chime. The chime is pretty much PvP ranked. Theres 1v1s to 3v3s. Winning gets you exp and good rewards. Losing gets you nothing but if u lose 3 times in a row you insta get sent to depths. Depths are easy to escape though you will fight… something to escape. I won’t spoil it. Also the guy who chased you down with the black aura was a voidwalker. They are the bounty hunter class. If you want to be one in your next life, kill 15 players in this life, find a ship event with an npc, and bam. Next life instead of spawning in as some random guy with no clothes in an island, you will be a bounty hunter void walker. Your main XP gain will be kills. There is so so so much more but that’s all for now

A tip that I can give you for experience and xp is to probably get out of the etrean luminant and move onto the eastern luminant. If you want directions to get there, just start at Isle of Vigils and go straight and hug the left path the entire time. When you end up seeing two giant gates enter the second one. Afterwards, you should try and grind at songseeker wilds. Its like a nature looking island. However, you might see some thresher that look like they're on roids and you should probably evade those at all costs. And finally, the Ivory person you were talking about was going to give you air dashes if you finished her quest. Just go to where the sharkos are (the disgusting white fish thing with legs) and just go up the hole where the second one spawns. Right after just keep heading upwards until you see some sort of broken down bridge. Just try and slide to get to the other side (ctrl while running + space) and get to the very end of the temple, and touch one of the purple fires and you can head back to get your air dashes. I hope this very long explanation explains somethings you can do, and I hope to see more content on deepwoken. :D
Tips : That little player that tried to attack u are called voidwalkers they are annoying fiends trying to progress like you by killing YOU! Also Trial Of One Is Nice to do but you need to be lvl 1 and you fight most mobs in the game. Would Recommend trying to get a stormseye from Ferrymen in the eastern luminant as your weapon
once you get lvl 10 you should go to songseeker to farm there are stronger npcs but better loot and better exp and dont attempt the trial of one just yet first make sure you know how to parry a tresher and a stone knight
HW, if you like this game, may be you should try an Arcane Odyssey. That is game with open world and with story mode, but there is alot more different items and etc, also you dont lose your progress when dying
Equipment helps with only your stats like hp stats. I'm glad you're enjoying this, if you want to two hand your sword just press "Y" but I do rcmd two handing since it has better scaling and better posture damage. This game has a Rythm. You can easily tell how mobs have a pattern to them. So predict each move, also another thing this game no matter what pvp is inevitable. you cannot avoid it, there are players called "voidwalkers" who will hunt you down for their own progression. If you plan on making a mage build look up hero blades on the wiki. They have every variant to each element. Since you're picking up the game pretty quickly I say you should do more content on this everyone would enjoy more of it. Tip: don't get attached to anything, your build will eventually wipe due to your actions. you can still get mad at your death but don't be sad you can make a totally different build or improve the build you plan on making again.
Google how to get to the crypt of the unbroken, head over to minityrsa and fight the dudes in the crypt of the unbroken. They all use heavy weapons so they're easy to parry but bring a friend cuz they do a lot of damage. They do not roam and only aggro when you walk into their line of sight or grip an npc too close to them. Because of this make sure to bring knocked npcs outside of the area before killing them. Huge exp and loot.
The purple glowing things at sea are artifacts, if you carry them back to somewhere with a bank (like etris and isle of vigils) you can turn it in for money and alot of loot

if you want to attempt the trial of one, you'd have to wipe and go there on level 1. (it won't let anyone above level 1 inside) the monsters in the trial have their health significantly reduced, so it's actually possible to kill them. If you keep attempting the trial, then you'll improve really really fast against many monsters. (Also it's the fastest way to get to level 6/7). Also you can tell how many points you need for a level up on the right when you click tab. ("Investment points")
Fight the Duke, he is the guy that the person by the broken statue told you about, Duke Erisia. He is a boss and if you kill him enough times you will unlock ur bell, the bell is like an extra ability that can be good or bad, depends on luck. You can fight duke erisia by talking to the NPC guard thats interactable near two bridges in the big starter village instead of the small vigil one. But maybe its better to do that in a higher level, depends on your skill.
Hey HW, if you find a purple ball thing in the sea, grab it and give it to the bank you will get some loot and 200 notes, i suggest to make a guild because with that you can have a guild base to do stuff like getting a new cut, modifying your mantras, etc
Alright so the guy with the black effects that attacked you is a "voidwalker", it's basicallya faction players can join that is focused on bounty hunting (basically hunt a player down). And your thunder skills turned blue because I think you took the talent "surge path". Basically most elements have a "path" that changes how most skills work. surge path for thunder makes your skill blue, and instead of shocking the target, it puts a blue marker on them for each hit. when there's like 5 markers (i think) they all explode and do huge damage
If you want to do The trial of one you will either need to wipe your character as you need to power one to enter or you can rip money out your pocket and buy another slot for it. it’s a good way to learn fighting mobs so I would try recommend doing it.

i suggest u going to a thing called trial of one. U can spawn there once u wipe ur first time, once u spawn u gotta go trough the door and u will start the trial, u fight mobs such as sharko golem and stuff like that. Once u die there u go to the depths instatly(only if u spawned there) once ur in the depths just wipe and reapeat till u defeat it

yo hw5567 quick tip when you accidently hit a friend or a player whos helping you say mb all it removes the red combat tag if they have the red tag they dont heal from mob kills (u dont need to say it in bossfights but some you have to say it)
If you press Y you switch the stance of your sword one handed allows for you to wield something in your offhand. Two handed makes you deal more posture damage. With some weapons the stances have other effects.
Attacks that flash the color red after NOT parryable only dodgable. You should also try to complete the trial of one as completing it will allow you to understand the attack patterns for alot of the monsters in the game.

I would for sure recommend doing atleast afew trial of one attempts the only issue being you will either needs a new slot or to wipe your current one because of how it works but doing trial of one help so much in getting used to deepwoken mechanics parrying, making muscle memory on common enemies
yo hw quick tip:that purple ball on the sea you found while running from the voidskipper,you can sell that to the bank guy(NOT ANTIQUARIAN) go to the bank and click the second option at the dialogue,it gives a lot of armor and a lot of notes (200 notes each)
What thunder wisp does is it applied "sapping" to a target you attack, what sapping do is basically increase the enemy mantra's cooldowns and give them shocked when sapping effect ended So it's pretty decent against enemy with mantra's
The fact he has a friend that is willing to play with him with his luck is surprising but a good change keep up the hard work and keep on trucking I think your doing great better then me at least
you can upgrade your electro carve by putting a blast spark on it (you need to recall it and go to a black table found at the place where you buy the items to train Attunements)

Alway prepare campfire or have campire in your inventory. Campfire is easy to craft just 1 wood and you need flint to make the campfire work when you place a campfire. Campfire provide rest by press E which can regen your hp and ether during resting. It is incredible useful while out of pvp or pve when you are in temporary safe moment.
Voidwalker. They are the players who choose voidwalker origin and focus on pvp progress. If your power level more than 5 then voidwalker will started to hunt you as your bounty is available in the knives of eylis. The higher level you are the higher level of voidwalker coming for you. When Voidwalker has bounty on you. They will spawn near to you. They have black aura or black particles effect on them so you can easily recognise they also sometime voidwalker teleport near to you will have some whirring sound so you known they are coming. Here some tips for fighting or escape voidwalker. first when they approach you press exit before you get danger signal(if you leave the game when you still have danger signal the game will consider you die so you lost one life) . Second just fight them if you can grip them you will reward by a chest with good loot . Third let other player or npc deal with them. Some player will try to help or just super hate voidwalker and wanted to kill them. When voidwalker fight with other player. Use that moment to run away or just help them to kill voidwalker but has a risk that other voidwalker may join in. In some place such as etris or isle of virgil or summer isle. The guard will help you to kill voidwalker. Final tip if you manage to grind a voidwalker leave that server as fast as possible. Some voidwalker may come back with higher level or main slot/character or call their friend/guild/boyfriends to help them to gank you.
Oh yeah forgot mention about reputation. If you manage get the knives of eylis good reputation by help them win during the knives of eylis verse etrean ship battle events by killing all the etrean guard(careful the knives of eylis NPC will attack you during the event so avoid fighting with them or just ignore them). This event often spawn on the sea. Keep help them win 4 or 5 time until you get a message about the knives of eylis no longer see you worth for fighting then voidwalker will no longer hunt you as your bounty gone and the knives of eylis NPC no longer hostile to you

The purple thing in ocean at 4:53 is called an artifact. They aren't that rare but if you bring them to the bank at Etris they give a lot of loot and money. As well as a chance for enchanted loot. I suggest looking around for them for a lil to get some extra equipment.

Yo, love to see you and Nano playing Deepwoken again. Don't be scared of being wiped it will be a learning experience and not gonna lie after wiping so many minmaxed build I'm not scared of wiping again. Anyways I recommend doing trial of one till you can complete it. Trial of one is a place where you fight basic monsters for a headstart in exp, learning trial of one will cause you to wipe so many times but over all worth it and learning it will definitely make you so many more times better at the game. Making it also so much more fun.

Trial of one is a good idea, but you need to be power 1 to attempt it. It’s very difficult to learn, but once you do, it becomes much easier to progress new accounts and you learn some of the important monsters while doing it. Also ur lighting turned blue cuz u got surge path which is a good thing. Also when monsters make a “ding” noise and a red circle appears, that means it’s an attack you can’t block/parry, only dodge.

yes, do trial of one. it's great for beginners, will help you learn a wide variety of opponents, will sometimes drop good loot, and will get you to power 7 (with autodidact) right from the start. (you can only enter at level 1, and it's located in minitrysia)

What I actually recommend doing for the next video is head to the burning stones garden, there are golems there with really easy patterns but can do some good damage to you. Do the trial when you’ve only got wiped since it can only be done when your power one, remember it can only be done once per character so you have to start a new one too

The guy with swirls was a void walker aka a bounty hunter, also for thundercall i suggest thunder kick as its your only autoguard break when your mantras are fully leveled up
You can only do the trial of one if your level one aswell, id suggest trying to get your bell, you get it by killing bosses alot then dieing in the depths and then itll revive you (not kidding)
If you go the the eastern Luminant the exp gain there is alot higher but player and mobs are more dangerous
As a relatively new player to the game I mastered the most useful mechanic in the game. It’s called “return to menu”.
Press Y to dual weild your weapon wich make you deal slightly more damage and more posture damage
1.) Alr so HW the purple things in the ocean give you 200 notes if you turn them into a bank person at Etris or The Isle of VIgils.
2.) The people with black tenticals are called Voidwalkers they are players that kill you for exp so make sure to avoid them.

Afro ur lvl 10 that’s half way to max lvl u need to grind at a different place. I reccomend the song seeker isles the enemies are medium for your lvl and in there you get the chime. The chime is pretty much PvP ranked. Theres 1v1s to 3v3s. Winning gets you exp and good rewards. Losing gets you nothing but if u lose 3 times in a row you insta get sent to depths. Depths are easy to escape though you will fight… something to escape. I won’t spoil it. Also the guy who chased you down with the black aura was a voidwalker. They are the bounty hunter class. If you want to be one in your next life, kill 15 players in this life, find a ship event with an npc, and bam. Next life instead of spawning in as some random guy with no clothes in an island, you will be a bounty hunter void walker. Your main XP gain will be kills. There is so so so much more but that’s all for now

A tip that I can give you for experience and xp is to probably get out of the etrean luminant and move onto the eastern luminant. If you want directions to get there, just start at Isle of Vigils and go straight and hug the left path the entire time. When you end up seeing two giant gates enter the second one. Afterwards, you should try and grind at songseeker wilds. Its like a nature looking island. However, you might see some thresher that look like they're on roids and you should probably evade those at all costs. And finally, the Ivory person you were talking about was going to give you air dashes if you finished her quest. Just go to where the sharkos are (the disgusting white fish thing with legs) and just go up the hole where the second one spawns. Right after just keep heading upwards until you see some sort of broken down bridge. Just try and slide to get to the other side (ctrl while running + space) and get to the very end of the temple, and touch one of the purple fires and you can head back to get your air dashes. I hope this very long explanation explains somethings you can do, and I hope to see more content on deepwoken. :D

HW, if you like this game, may be you should try an Arcane Odyssey. That is game with open world and with story mode, but there is alot more different items and etc, also you dont lose your progress when dying

I'm glad you're enjoying this, if you want to two hand your sword just press "Y" but I do rcmd two handing since it has better scaling and better posture damage. This game has a Rythm. You can easily tell how mobs have a pattern to them. So predict each move, also another thing this game no matter what pvp is inevitable. you cannot avoid it, there are players called "voidwalkers" who will hunt you down for their own progression. If you plan on making a mage build look up hero blades on the wiki. They have every variant to each element. Since you're picking up the game pretty quickly I say you should do more content on this everyone would enjoy more of it. Tip: don't get attached to anything, your build will eventually wipe due to your actions. you can still get mad at your death but don't be sad you can make a totally different build or improve the build you plan on making again.
Google how to get to the crypt of the unbroken, head over to minityrsa and fight the dudes in the crypt of the unbroken. They all use heavy weapons so they're easy to parry but bring a friend cuz they do a lot of damage. They do not roam and only aggro when you walk into their line of sight or grip an npc too close to them. Because of this make sure to bring knocked npcs outside of the area before killing them. Huge exp and loot.
The purple glowing things at sea are artifacts, if you carry them back to somewhere with a bank (like etris and isle of vigils) you can turn it in for money and alot of loot

if you want to attempt the trial of one, you'd have to wipe and go there on level 1. (it won't let anyone above level 1 inside)
the monsters in the trial have their health significantly reduced, so it's actually possible to kill them. If you keep attempting the trial, then you'll improve really really fast against many monsters. (Also it's the fastest way to get to level 6/7).
Also you can tell how many points you need for a level up on the right when you click tab. ("Investment points")
Fight the Duke, he is the guy that the person by the broken statue told you about, Duke Erisia. He is a boss and if you kill him enough times you will unlock ur bell, the bell is like an extra ability that can be good or bad, depends on luck.
You can fight duke erisia by talking to the NPC guard thats interactable near two bridges in the big starter village instead of the small vigil one.
But maybe its better to do that in a higher level, depends on your skill.

Alright so the guy with the black effects that attacked you is a "voidwalker", it's basicallya faction players can join that is focused on bounty hunting (basically hunt a player down). And your thunder skills turned blue because I think you took the talent "surge path". Basically most elements have a "path" that changes how most skills work. surge path for thunder makes your skill blue, and instead of shocking the target, it puts a blue marker on them for each hit. when there's like 5 markers (i think) they all explode and do huge damage

If you want to do The trial of one you will either need to wipe your character as you need to power one to enter or you can rip money out your pocket and buy another slot for it. it’s a good way to learn fighting mobs so I would try recommend doing it.

i suggest u going to a thing called trial of one. U can spawn there once u wipe ur first time, once u spawn u gotta go trough the door and u will start the trial,
u fight mobs such as sharko golem and stuff like that. Once u die there u go to the depths instatly(only if u spawned there) once ur in the depths just wipe and reapeat till u defeat it

tip: press Y to change your stance to two-handed, it will increase your posture dmg by a bit
If you press Y you switch the stance of your sword one handed allows for you to wield something in your offhand. Two handed makes you deal more posture damage. With some weapons the stances have other effects.
Attacks that flash the color red after NOT parryable only dodgable. You should also try to complete the trial of one as completing it will allow you to understand the attack patterns for alot of the monsters in the game.

I would for sure recommend doing atleast afew trial of one attempts the only issue being you will either needs a new slot or to wipe your current one because of how it works but doing trial of one help so much in getting used to deepwoken mechanics parrying, making muscle memory on common enemies

What thunder wisp does is it applied "sapping" to a target you attack, what sapping do is basically increase the enemy mantra's cooldowns and give them shocked when sapping effect ended
So it's pretty decent against enemy with mantra's
