I tried so hard lol. Tried mussel meat, tried a kelp ball, tried lucky crafts tried swimbaits. Saw the from the shore and cast right into the pile… nada
Too bad we can’t cast net here … mullet are great bait… everything eats em… saw em 1 mile inland in my local river (gutter) and decided to try casting a 150 jerk bait and got bit by a legal halibut that may or may not have been taken home for taco dinner 🤣
@@surffishinginsocal there is a TH-cam channel called Bush Fishing from Australia. He figured out a way to catch em hook and line. I have seen them chase my lures before and thought that was curious
I wish I could catch one. I’ve heard stories of some dude catching them with banana peels. Others say peas. They’re supposed to be vegetarian so I guess it makes sense. Spider hitch rig with a string of peas maybe?
@@surffishinginsocal legal, moral, nonfattening (unless you deep fry them, at least they taste pretty good around here, unlike some I've had from warm water)..
scud shrimp fly is the way to catch them..12-10 size hook.. or on blood worm
Did you try to catch any of them?
