Nerdy Broski lol you dont understand that average consumer doesnt have to be geared towards you there is plenty of other people out there willing to pay well over $200 to have a good looking and good sounding pair of headphones.
glad your channel is named UrAvgConsumer. that way anyone hating just seems dumb for arguing with a consumer. true professionals and/or audiophiles already know where to turn. keep making your vids man! they're good for people who like what you like! very informative.
Ugh those annoying self proclaimed "audiophile" haters disappoint me how people nowadays are stupid enough to not pay attention to simple details. Society is now full of dumbasses. No casual person would give a fuck about mids frequency and all that shit. It's fucking common sense why can't anyone use their head? Ur like the only one here who uses his head
What else would you expect from a basshead? All I see are bass heavy headphones with the exception of the M50s which should have been number 1 on the list. But then again this is UrAvgConsumer, and the avg consumer today indeed, only goes for bass, bass, and more bass. So nothing wrong here.
m50? Not neutral. The M40X is more neutral. XD I'm not kidding you. The M50X is very v-shaped in its response... And is overpriced imo. The UE6000's have more detail for 80$, the K240's also do for 70$, and even the ATH-WS77 for 120$.
Made1nGreece The ATH M50s are studio monitor headphones, which means they do nothing to the sound (I.e. Eq) The v modas have a very bass heavy eq, although it may sound better to your preference, it's not the pure sound.
I dont really like the ATH-M50X, especially when compared to the M40X. I am bashing it a little zunehdrocks because its little bro is better for studio monitoring. M50X has a lot more bass than any other studio can I know of. Its something I'd recommend as a portable... But there are better choices for less imo. Have you tried the M40X may I ask? Trust your ears. These are simply my findings from trying them all myself.
Yes! Good Job on putting the M50s in front of the Beats Headphones! I still don't understand why people buy Beats apart from style.... The sound is not that great, Really Expensive, and Too much bass
***** And there is your mistake, beats do not have good powerful and tights bass. They are muddy and unexciting. I did not try the new Studios, but compared to Solos,Studios and Pros, a Beyerdynamic DT770,Sennheiser HD 600 or Astro A40/50s and the Pulse Headset are far superior in every part of the sound. Bass is far more powerful and clean and you will hear details in music that you couldnt even dream of with beats, And biggest joke of all is that beats Pros cost more then every Headphone/Headsets i just stated....
***** How do you define lot of bass then? or did you mean that you just meant to say it SHOULD have bass but you dont know if it has ? Because if you did not say that beats have good bass then im sry, my mistake then.
I once have the Beats Studio.... But then I sold it because of the sound quality and comfort. The sound quality was really really bad and the Headphones hurt my ears after a long period of listening. And the bass is too powerful that it hurts my eardrums :'(
you should do more videos like this, but you should categorize them by price range and other different categories. Top 5 comfortable headphones, under 200$, etc..
Most of the best sound headphones I've ever bought were Sony Headphones, and those Pulse Elites are like the best sounding headphones I've ever used. The only problem is every pair of Sony headphones I've ever owned have been ridiculously fragile and those are no different. They literally break by just normal usage due to the heft of the head cup, the compression they have to sit sung on your head, and the cheap plastic they use to connect them to the headband. I love the sound so much though I've bought 3 pair, my first is broken, my second is cracking, and I bought a 3rd on sale as a backup, because stuff like this Sony will usually give up on and you won't be able to get them as easy later.
One thing of note is the EQ settings that you can load the headphone with using your PS3/PS4, you've got some custom and general game settings, but the movie/music settings are very good too. Put it on Music or Hip hop with the bass impact at least 50% and you will be amazed
ngreatshark I also love the sound quality from the pulse headphones, but they were so fragile! I don't have the kind of money to continuously buy these headphones especially if they're going to keep breaking every 6 months. I just bought the ath m50x and I'm loving the sound on these too, so I'm just gonna stick with these. It's just a waste that sony didn't make the pulse headphones more durable, they were so amazing!
champion9124 Yeah I agree, it almost pains me how easy they break given how good they sound, and admittedly its kind of silly that I bought another pair in anticipation of when the one im using now DOES break. I was so hoping Sony was going to make it right when they announced the Gold Wirless set, but they got rid of the bass impact, basically making them like the original wireless headset. Maybe they will follow it up with a gold elite and put it back in
No the only thing you had to worry about with the originals is they have this plastic pull out boom mike that was easy to break, but overall they are solid, I still have them and they are fine. Coincidentally I'm wearing my elites right now both sides of the headset are cracking, never dropped or abused them, all I did was wear them
Hello, May u can try this awesome headphone which won 2013 IF design award from Hanover Germany, but few people knows, www.amazon.com/You-Chintek-Baldoor-Headphones-Headphone-Smartphons/dp/B00KT53DPK/ref=sr_1_32?ie=UTF8&qid=1404758730&sr=8-32&keywords=chintek
The Sony Pulse. Yo, them shit are good. I just bought those joints yesterday. Them shits are dope. I am trying to get another pair just in case them shits go away. You can feel the base rumble. The base clarity is good.
Was that Guile from Street Fighter's theme song playing in the background for your number one headphones?? AHAHAHAA!!! Any, I LOVVVEEE your reviews. . . .. the way you break things down, the clarity of your voice, I just love it. . .. lol.. . . good stuff!!!
I've got a pair of the Pulse Elites and 18 months down the track they have snapped on both sides of arms. Sound quality is ok but doesn't blow me away!
When rating the headphones you're talking about, did you take in account the price? So will a 80% 100 dollars headphone score lower than a 95% 600 dollars headphone?
If you take in account the price these headphones are terrible. Overall, they sound marginally better (IMO) to some of the sub < 50$ headphones such as the Superlux hd681 EVO (simply the best bass-head headphone under 50$, you should really review these).
I don't blame you for picking the PULSE. They are the most versatile Headphones ever made it seems. I've been looking for a replacement that can do everything that one can do and there really isn't any. Like you stated, you can make anything wireless. At this moment, I have the dongle plugged into the TV and a 3.5mm running from the dongle to my TV. So, I just mute my TV and listen to everything that comes through it wirelessly. Great Stuff. Looking forward to their next version.
If you're referring to the new beats studio, then you are a fool. They are a much better headphone than the originals were. In fact, they're actually not hated in the audiophile community. Sure they're not worth their price tag, but they are no longer bad headphones. They are now a good, not great headphone, with decent sound, and decent noise canceling.
Sennheiser Momentum as Honorable mention? Man I liked your reviews before, but wow. Momentum's are EASILY better than all of the top 5 mentioned. I have a pair of Sony Pulse Elites and while they are great for playing PS4, they are certainly not better than most if not all of the top 5... I find bass impact technology on Elites distorted and rather annoying, more like a dual shock vibration on your head, OK in games not in music.
great video, just purchase the V-Moda Crossfade M-100 today and get them in two days. Stoked. My first real purchase for a great set of headphones. More than likely will get the Audio Technica 50X for family use at home!
I just got a pair of Audio Technica M50x and from a Studio Recording point of view, I have nothing to complain about. They are uncolored, neutral, and extra clear. I need a pair of headphones that does not add extra bass so I can measure the level of bass I put in my songs when I put them together. Well, I do understand that you are only sharing your personal opinion. Anyways, props for how much work you put into making these videos. :-)
I should edit this as I just realized this video was made was released in October 2013, while Audio Technica's Mx series only came out in January 2014. The comment above isn't really relevant as I have never used the original version (now discontinued) of the ATH M50. Hopefully I'll find a review in your archives on the new version. Cheers. :-)
Super high quality bluetooth headphones? No. Maximum bitrate ist 345kBit/s (BEST possible case) which could be a problem. So you have your already lossy coded musicfile on your computer (eg. mp3 file), this will be decoded and again lossy encoded in the sbc bluetoothstreaming format and then sent to your headphones. I dont say that you necessarily hear this issue in most cases but it is very very close to that.
Yes, mp3, wma, and other compressed audio files run around 350kbs. wav format goes about 1150kbs. So its three times higher quality.... However it is useless unless you have really nice headphones or speakers. And it wont make you music sound better if you convert it from mp3 to wav.... in case you were wondering. Keep in mind it takes up a ton of space too...
Cradle Media Group™ he's a basshead and my last experience with sennheiser ended in a minute with them breaking, so my first choice is beats, second choice is skullcandy hesh
dude, its all personal choice. and from your choices i can see you care more about bass and aesthetics than audio quality. sorry you had a bad experience with sennheiser but i love them. never had a problem with them and they never cost me $300. all ears are different, you like beats, get beats and i hope they are great for you. i personally do not like the audio quality. the build quality of beats is exceptional though.
incredible jt New sadly, they break internally incredibly easily and trying to sell them in Amazon us impossible because Amazon will take £225 of whatever you sell the for
I love bass in my music, and I have the original Beats Studio. I went from Apple Earpods to these so they sounded great to me. After all that great stuff you said about the Sony Pulse Wireless, I saw them on Amazon for only $98. Thats a steal. I probably will be getting them, thanks UAC
Just got my sony pulse elite head phones..thanx to you an i have to say they are very very good.even better for the price i payed at best buy in arlington tx..$126 with a 2 year warranty !!!
You are so fucking advertising beats, beats make 1166% profit not 166% but 1166%!!!!!!! Think about that, they cost 24$ to make and ship, but sell for 300-400$!!!! Lets take apple for comparison, the macbook air 11" cost 1000$ and cost 500$ to manufacture, that is a 100% profit, even apple does do this so fucking ridicullus shit. Beats brake fast, looks like a toy, sound shit and are expensive. Everytime you see beats stuff in music videos , tv, movies and photos of celebrities, its basically advertisement and brainwashing
Yep, businesses have to make money or they wouldn't work, idiot. Haven't you learned anything about the economy? Lol, if people will buy them expensive, they will be sold expensive.
Okay they are worth what people are willing to pay. which is the way the world works. but they don't cost $24 or $14 you forget about R&D and also the advertising they probaly don't spend too much on R&D for their drivers but I bet they spend a bunch on design. then they have more commercials than any other headphone manufacture. but yes people are willing to pay way to much for them. think about this the sennheiser hd 800's cost $1500 they don't look that nice and i bet the materials to make it cost $50 and i bet they cost $100 to manufacture. but they spent millions in R&D
there are tons of high quality and even really good looking headphones. examples include Vmoda, audio technica, beyerdynamics, etc. People need to get out of the cocoon of headphone brands from big box stores (bestbuy, walmart, etc) like bose, beats, monster, etc. Though some of the newer sony headphones sound awesome
ADeviatedSeptum in terms of sound quality yes the sennheisers are definitely good but build quality on a lot of their models is questionable compared to the audio technicas as equivalent prices. the audio technicas are also mainly made out of plastic they feel solid and durable while sennheisers have that cheap plastic feel that often gives plastic a bad name
Seriously, thankyou man, i needed this cus i ordered the ps pulse, again ive been skeptic cus there has been a few who complained about it but thankyou, i listen to dubstep alot and need bass, pluss i play alot of games so yeah. After i saw this vid i turned into a 'lill kid whos about to open his/her christmas present:D
Well it is all summed up in Marques Brownlees video titled "The Truth About Beats by Dre."(not much about why they suck but very informative). For its price they are not worth it all,the base overpowers just about everything. They sound decent but when you compare them with headphones in the same price range they sound like absolute shit, the crap of the crap. They are stylish though,so that is a plus. The newer models are somewhat durable so that is nice too. However, they are horrible unless you are a basshead that wants some stylish headphones. That is my opinion.
No love for the Monster DNA? Those are shockingly good, and Monster finally got the quality/price ratio done right. They are the best value they've put out in a long time, offering a punchy yet detailed and tight bass, smooth mids and clear highs, all under $200. They're quite fun to listen to.
You know people like bass heavy genre. I know what your talking about but it's just people's preference. Al djs need more bass heavy, there are certain reasons why unbalanced are needed in other jobs.
rockguy132 Dj's dont need bass in there headphones really (but i get what you mean about preference, but producers need a flat balanced pare of headphones
Also dj's and producers are different. Producers work in studios to create music, which means they need a balance headphone, and isolation won't be needed. Disc Jockeys work in clubs so isolation is needed big time, a bass heavy headphone with great isolation is a perfect headphone for a dj. It has to be bass heavy so its easier to beatmatch.
Hey there UAC, I've observed some of your videos and from the perspective of an audiophile, I think you should pick up a pair of Velodyne vPulses. These In-Ear headphones have an enormous, heart thumping, chest rumbling bass, and while large, the bass is not sloppy or mushy. These buds are also stylish and have a quality, tangle-free flat cord and a nice, durable build. I recommend these to you because you are a bass-head. These retail for about 89-99 USD, but can go on sale to 20-25 USD occasionally. Personally, I think that the ATH-M50s should be no. 1 because they have crisp and beautiful sound and don't break your budget.
not lazah fucking true. They are about as good as the plastic earbuds that come with iPhones. Cost $15 to make sell for over $250. They are fucking bull
I personally think the SMS sync by 50 is the top headphone in the world right now,its stylish, very durable, has amazing balanced sound, deep bass, wireless, can be used wired also, comfortable, and convenient on the go.tell me what you think UrAvg!!
For me comfort is extremely important. As i have long sessions wearing headphones. I bought a pair of aviator 7's. Not terrible. But not great either. Cost me $70. Now after watching your review on the seinheser momentums im taking a chance on them. Also kudos for doing sound leak and gf test videos. Thats a big part of having headphones. Why are you the only one doing this? Also im now considering buying a headphone stand like yours.
I modified a pair of TDK ST550s I got for $23. I spent about $50 on some extensive, but fairly easy modifications that took about 2 weeks to complete, but after some tweaking, they sound better than almost anything that I compared them too. They sounded better than the new Beats Studios, most of the Sony MDRs that I could test, and even beat out Fostex T50RPs in many places. But, I feel they fell short to the Audio Technica M50s. It was close, buy they just sounded a little crisper. Very, very good headphones. (Still proud of my ST550s though. They weren't bad at all to begin with, but now they are boss. And for $73 total, I got some pretty Damn good sound out of them).
73 total + your time, cough up the extra 40 bucks and get a pair of athm50's lol although the time you spent wasn't necessarily "wasted" time. I guess you could consider it a learning experience. But if you value your time you spent much more than 70
I'd just like to add a comment - it's not a criticism of the review, just an additional point. The Audio Technica ATH-M50 are monitor headphones - they are not designed to have emphasised bass response. That's why they are used for studio work and for audio monitoring in video work. They are not designed for bassheads - they are work-horse microphones. Similar monitor headphones are the Beyerdynamic DT770 or DT150. For anyone looking for monitor headphones I would recommend either the ATH-M50's or the DT770 / DT150. It all depends what you want from your headphones. It's a bit like music - all a matter of personal choice. .
As you say, the V Moda's have a very tight grip. It kills me with glasses at work after an hour or so. The Momentums definitely have the edge on comfort as they are lighter with softer earcups. They don't have as much power in their sound, though.
Get the XL pads from V-Moda, they make a WORLD of difference. I wear glasses too and with the XL pads on it feels like a couple of kittens against your head. Super comfy.
Momentum is more geared towards a natural and clear sound. Not so much bass. While v Modas have a very tight bass. They lack a little in clarity but still impressive clarity for the amount of punch they pack in.
Another good list. Agree with the Sony video game console headphones being good. Seems like they put some good technology in them especially with the 7.1 surround sound over and above their other headphones they make.
I know this is an old list from what I can tell from the video date; but I just thought if possible to know if any of your list includes 'comfort' when you rank them? Price, durability and bass is all great but don't mean if much the headphones are uncomfortable need to pull them off your head after short period of time.
well, to be honest, i like the Monster DNA, they have a crystal clear sound, amazing bass ( they made the bass for some of the beat's models) and they're very comfortable!
Bluedio R+ Legends would blow all these out, they are bluetooth and i am a basshead like you, here is the best part about them they have a 2pcs subwoofer and 6pcs driver...theses are really really worth checking out!!!
Beats are actually really good. I really don't get why everyone gets angry with them, they might be overpriced but the audio technicas aren't any better. I own both and have the better reason to say so unlike the other people who have never owned or even listened to a pair of beats.
Joey Velasquez they hate them because they think it makes them sound smart by hating them. They aren't worth their price tag but they aren't trash lmao
the pulses are okay headphones, the only thing that kills it is the poor ass battery life. im glad to see the sexy modas on here, with the xl pads makes it the best experience for the price range.
Of the top 5 headphones listed here I can honestly say that I have only heard the ATH-50 and many different offerings from Beats. Of those two, and anything else that I've ever heard in my entire life for that matter... the M50's are simply top notch.
Hey, UrAvgConsumer, you should review the polk audio ultrafocus 8000. If those came in a wireless version I would be all over those. My friend owns a pair and I put in a solid listening session for 3 hours+ and I fell in love with them. The sound cancelling is pretty unique too, but the quality is so high, I've have yet to try anything in that price range with that quality. IMHO these destroy something like the ATH-M50 in clarity or any other headphones you mentioned on this list. The bass is amazing too, probably the tightest bass I have heard yet (it may not be that great for you considering you are a bass head and I can appreciate that). I still say you've gotta try these!
When he got to no.1 without a mention of the Sennheiser Momentums I was a bit surprised. Not to worry, they got a special mention. I fell in love with them the second I put them on. The build quality is a thing of understated beauty but that is nothing next to the sound quality which is so well balanced for listening to all types of music. If you want to follow the crowd buy a set of Beats but if you want to hear every detail in the music that you listen to then get the Momentums.
I actually love the look of the ath50, very classy. The only ones i might like more as far as looks in that list are the momentums. I guess i should clarify i own the white athm50's.

Dude, the average consumer is out there buying beats which with the exception of their earbuds, are all $200 or more.....
And you can get the audio technicas for about $100 if you shop around. They're the best on the list.
Chris Ward Sorry, I'd rather invest that $200+ on something more practical. The "average consumer" seem to be straight dumb.

I was going to subscribe to your channel, but I can't take anyone seriously as a reviewer if one ranks Beats by Dre highly.
Dude...
Some people just like the sound. It's just a question of taste.
I'm an audiophile and I love beats. So don't judge people for their taste
Fraptured
Lol, you're not an audiophile. Moron.
Lmfao! Beats.....

I like that you make a distinction between headphones for bass heads, professionals and the average listener.
How in the flying fuck does this guy not even have BOSE or SENNHEISER on here? Wtf? Damn bassheads..
Ross Lemon
You like analytic phones yeah?
Ross Lemon
ok so, basically a relatively flat frequency signature. As opposed to phones with an exaggerated bottom end for 'bass-head' fucktards.
I have a question. After so much scrutiny about trying "audiophile" headphones, has it changed your taste in headphones any?
The ATH-M50 and V-Modas are the only ones on the list worth buying :/
I've got a pair of the Pulse Elites and 18 months down the track they have snapped on both sides of arms. Sound quality is ok but doesn't blow me away!

Looking forward to their next version.
nice top pal, like always :D
I cant respect a top 5 best headphone list if Beats are in them
I bet you have never tried the new generation of beats studios you are just going off of other peoples opinions
+YellowBoxProduction1 I have, they aren't bad per se, but they are overpriced for what they sound like.
+tinostarks ya they are overpriced but if you do want looks and use them in public and now with the nice sound quality they are an ok price
+Saradomilk Even my sony mdr v55 puts beats to shame..
+subhra roy so do the free apple ear buds
All this guy is talking about is bass.
He is not talking about the technology and technical, all he is saying its very amazing its very good its boom boom amazing... pointless
Zak Mo
Yes, you should check out Tek Syndicate here on youtube they are technical and even show you how to mod earphones. I do not trust this guy.
He said "I'm a bass head" Of course if you love bass you're gonna talk about bass.
SinisterDubstep
I'm also a bass head but you have to talk about the whole sound signature, mids highs and how they react when the bass drops.
SinisterDubstep so what youre saying is i shouldnt take his word into consideration due to obvious bias?
48 seconds in, paused the video typed this comment and went to a new video. Reason is self-explanatory.
***** Right beside it is the M50.
Of course, everyone's ears are different, and M50 is not without issues. They can be harsh.
No 2 is my favorite
I bought coz of your reviews
Thanks man
Cheers
I've subscribed to you ever since. I KNEW Sony Pulse was going to be your #1 recommended heaphone.
Not a headphone master. But when it comes to over head noise canceling headphone... The Bose qc15 is the God.
they aren't "neutral." the m-50's have a 7db spike in the bass region. Now, if you want truly neutral, go look at AKG K702's.
Sony Pulse? i'm no audiophile but i know certainly that they are not better than the M50
Actually I have both. They are better!!!
Yea for bassheads they are better.
Keep in mind it takes up a ton of space too...
no sennheiser's on your list? sir, look into sennheiser headphones. best headphones for great prices. check them out.
Look at the end
MrExplorerFilms i know that a sennheiser was in the honorable mentions...but if beats made it into a top 5 and sennheiser didn't...that's just wrong.
Cam Morgan
can I quote you on this in a Pro Audio Forum... I've already been laughing tears for over 5 minutes now! Pleaaase
I found out the hard way how shit the studios are...
the new ones? i know the old ones were bad but are you talking about the old or new
incredible jt New sadly, they break internally incredibly easily and trying to sell them in Amazon us impossible because Amazon will take £225 of whatever you sell the for
oh that sucks.....
incredible jt very much so, I suggest the v-Midas simply because they seem a little more durable
Arthur Butcher dude the beats suck for the price seriously overpriced
I love bass in my music, and I have the original Beats Studio. I went from Apple Earpods to these so they sounded great to me. After all that great stuff you said about the Sony Pulse Wireless, I saw them on Amazon for only $98. Thats a steal. I probably will be getting them, thanks UAC
Great vid. BUT check out the TH-900!!!! It's blows all of those HPs away with amazing bass, full mids, and extremely detailed treble
yesss v-moda all day
never. use. wirless. bluetooth compresses the audio files.
if u try the parrot zik, u will change ur opinion
i have. it has a very fake audio feel. like it makes the music sound good due to the lack of accuracy that happens with bluetooth.
Are u talkin about the parrot zik ? Or just bluetooth headphone?
well ya, the parrot zik is wirless.
So wee must live in a different world, the parrot zik is by far the best headphone , and ive tryed a lot of headphone
make a 3.0
Just got my sony pulse elite head phones..thanx to you an i have to say they are very very good.even better for the price i payed at best buy in arlington tx..$126 with a 2 year warranty !!!
Omg I found this video way in February and just because of this video I got the Sony pulse wireless headset! Thanks!!
ya no. the beats studios suck. my friend had them for 2 months and they stopped working. so no
send em back problem solved
buy Vmodas first, problem solved
They cost $14 to produce financialjuneteenth.com/cheap-beats-by-dre-headphones-cost-just-14-to-make/
Someone is on their period...
My mac book air 11.6 that I just bought was $830 at bestbuy dafuq
new beats are awesome.. they should be #1
Fuck that
nice joke
there are tons of high quality and even really good looking headphones. examples include Vmoda, audio technica, beyerdynamics, etc. People need to get out of the cocoon of headphone brands from big box stores (bestbuy, walmart, etc) like bose, beats, monster, etc. Though some of the newer sony headphones sound awesome
Asad the great Cant forget Sennheisers.
ADeviatedSeptum
in terms of sound quality yes the sennheisers are definitely good but build quality on a lot of their models is questionable compared to the audio technicas as equivalent prices. the audio technicas are also mainly made out of plastic they feel solid and durable while sennheisers have that cheap plastic feel that often gives plastic a bad name
Seriously, thankyou man, i needed this cus i ordered the ps pulse, again ive been skeptic cus there has been a few who complained about it but thankyou, i listen to dubstep alot and need bass, pluss i play alot of games so yeah. After i saw this vid i turned into a 'lill kid whos about to open his/her christmas present:D
this guy speaks the truth ;) love your reviews im subscribing
Can someone explain why beats are bad...
They are overpriced, bad durability, muddy bass, lower than average sound quality and people buy them basically for the looks
Its expensive.
Sound quality for that $300 price tag. Beats are rip off
It's just a fashion
Guys you must remember this is HIS top 5!!
I`m saying........Sony Pulse!
Shit I was right!
Kevin Kellapatha :D
No love for the Monster DNA? Those are shockingly good, and Monster finally got the quality/price ratio done right. They are the best value they've put out in a long time, offering a punchy yet detailed and tight bass, smooth mids and clear highs, all under $200. They're quite fun to listen to.
Sennheiser HD25s are the ones every serious audiohead listends to, tight punchy bass, good clarity on mids, specious sounds
Omfg he doesnt know shit
yes he knows, but the thing is he's basshead.thats were the problem is

Bass Head? why don't you just use well balanced headphones, and not mess around with what the producer wants you to hear... M50x my pick
Well, I like bass heavy headphones. Way easier to beatmatch compared to others to be honest.
Because bass is an option like if u get a pc u wouldn't want other things on it just what it came with
Beats? Average uninformed consumer indeed
Munitio Pro 40's I think might take your number one spot. I own their earbuds (9mm, gold) and the bass out of those little ear buds is insane.
1 because they have crisp and beautiful sound and don't break your budget.
when you put beats on number 5 you discredit everything else. Beats are objectively absolute trash.
not lazah fucking true. They are about as good as the plastic earbuds that come with iPhones. Cost $15 to make sell for over $250. They are fucking bull
HowNotToPlayVideoGames salt
Deivi Josue a little bit cause I hate being ripped off
The Sennheiser HD 800 are my favorite headphones,
and I also love the Koss Porta Pro.
I got the pulse headset and its indeed the best, you can set the level of bass and set different setups
73 total + your time, cough up the extra 40 bucks and get a pair of athm50's lol
although the time you spent wasn't necessarily "wasted" time. I guess you could consider it a learning experience. But if you value your time you spent much more than 70
Chuck Norris Yes. Must. Obey. Chuck Norris...
***** Oh hell no! The V6's were freaking amazing. I have to edit that to "MDR's I tested at the time of writing, which I thought were all of them."
Is there anything better than the Audio Technica HTM 50's that are under $200?
BarbecueGamer the fostex t50rp are amazing if modified. If you don't want to mod though, you really can't go wrong with the M50's.
Tritton Warhead 7.1 wireless headset. It's what I use and the bass is bumpin maybe even harder your top pick for about the same price on amazon.
i love the part where you talk about bass, treble needs love too
I'd just like to add a comment - it's not a criticism of the review, just an additional point.
THANKS your reviews really helped
Awesome video dude! I love my PS3 Pulses!
Amazing video keep up with good work
Bluedio R+ Legends would blow all these out, they are bluetooth and i am a basshead like you, here is the best part about them they have a 2pcs subwoofer and 6pcs driver...theses are really really worth checking out!!!
Well, You know your headphones mate,
Thanks for the review
I completely agree with his number one. Amazing head phones. Just bought them today and love them. Woop woop!!!!!!! Soooonnnny!!!!!
You should do a list of your fav earbuds/earphones. I don't think anyone has done that before.
Without a doubt, the best headphones I've ever owned/ listened to are the Sennheiser HD 25-1II. Absolutely amazing for the price.
the pulses are okay headphones, the only thing that kills it is the poor ass battery life. im glad to see the sexy modas on here, with the xl pads makes it the best experience for the price range.
Of the top 5 headphones listed here I can honestly say that I have only heard the ATH-50 and many different offerings from Beats. Of those two, and anything else that I've ever heard in my entire life for that matter... the M50's are simply top notch.
I thought he was totally kidding us when he said "Pulse Wireless Headset" XD
Now I have to look more into this. :D
I still say you've gotta try these!
i own the Pulse Elite and i can tell you this is a good bass and clarity headphone . Trust me this headphone worth the price
I'll go with Senheisser Momentums as my guess for your favorite. I have Senheisser HD558s on a lot at home. I like Shures and AKGs too.
This guy and that brownie or brownie guy could be brother lol love their stuff
couldn't agree more lovin' my Pulse elites as well using it to all of my devices from pc, phones and ps4 ^_^
I love beats! Awesome bass
Make a list of your top favourite brands. I bet Beats will be there.
Thank you ive been want a new pair of Gaming/everyday headset so Sony Pulse here i come!!!!!
Great video man! Have you tried any of the Sure headphones? I think they are great.
Great video man!
I love my sony pulse headset. I have had them for 2 years and they still sound better than any new beats that have come out
Monster headsets Needs mentioning ...
Great build quality. .cheaper than others. .and sound fantastic. .monster is known for sound after all.
I used to be a beats fan but when I tried Audio Technica ATHM50X I gave my beats to my brother and bought the ATHM50X.
I actually love the look of the ath50, very classy. The only ones i might like more as far as looks in that list are the momentums. I guess i should clarify i own the white athm50's.
i just like your desktop monitor .....give a nice review on that too, recently buy a benq monitor and not too much satisfied.
