After listening a techno music at high volume, the results in my head were different: With the Sony 1000mx3 I kept my head vibrating. With the B&W PX I got my head to echo inside! The B&W PX bass comes in inside the head, and the Sony 1000mx3 vibrates the outside of the head. Different results for different tastes. I prefer the Bass of the B&W PX, more real and penetrating, like a punch in the head. Sony sounds a little artificial (comparing with the B&W PX) In addition, the B&W PX volume is higher. When it reaches the volume limit on the Sony 1000mx3, the B&W still has another 20% to add. Without a doubt, the sound of the B&W PX is superior, more defined and more elegant. I say this without any tendency, because I bought both. Do not forget the following: B&W is a company dedicated exclusively to sound, equipping high-end cars like Ferrari, BMW's etc. Sony produces a wide variety of things, from mobile phones to microwaves. B&W is a lady of sound quality, because she dedicates himself exclusively to this. COMFORT: With regard to comfort, the Sony 1000mx3 are more comfortable, nor giving almost by the presence of them in the head. 👍👍👍 However, while the B&W PXs are less comfortable, the ears stay free inside the earpiece, being cooler and not causing perspiration. The Sony 1000mx3 ears do not have space inside the headphones, and make them perspire on hotter days. Unsustainable in summer days, much less to walk down the street on sunny days. 👎 The quality of construction is top notch in the B&W PX. All in aluminum, and genuine leather. It costs € 400 in Europe but pays for the elegance and quality of construction. 👍 The Sony 1000mx3 is all in plastic and synthetic skin. In Europe costs € 380, but it seems that we are buying plastic.👎 However the Sony are lighter and therefore more comfortable. 👍 NOISE CANCELLATION: The Sony 1000mx3 has a perfect noise cancellation, it looks like you put your head inside a vacuum chamber. Perfect! 👍👍👍 The B&W PX though reasonable in noise cancellation, but are far from the Sony 1000mx3. Android/ Apple APPLICATION: With respect to the Android application to control the headphones, the Sony is perfect, as well as the indicator sounds in your own language. The B&W PX are just beeps. 👎👎👎 The B&W PX application only serves to control the level of noise reduction (which is best to keep it OFF), and to control the system to pause the music when you remove the B&W PX from your ears (which works at 80%). The app for B&W PX is terribly basic 👎👎👎 CONCLUSION? Comparing these headphones to a women, I would say: That the Sony are that kind of woman, very devoted to home and children, but a little less beautiful and more chubby. The B&W PX is that a elegant woman, very pretty, but untidy woman at home. So, if you prefer the ugly and dedicated woman at home, you will always look at the beautiful woman. If you prefer the elegant and beautiful woman, you go and wash your dishes at home. You choose. 😁😁😎 I prefer the B&W PX, although I know it does not have all those features that would do it great. I'm more of a fan of B&W PX's aesthetic and sound elegance. If you choose B&W PX you will make a good choice, but sacrificing some aspects of the Sony 1000mx3 that would make music even more enjoyable. If you buy Sony, you're just one more who bought a headset for €350. If you buy B & W, whoever watches you knows that you like not just music but sound quality. Some of the "business" websites that do the comparatives, seem to give 100% preference to Sony, but gave me the impression of sponsorship by Sony. 😀😀😀 Because everyone knows Sony, and a lot of people have never heard of Bowers & Wilkins, only sound connoisseurs know it. Thus, Sony is more mediated, and ends up having a control of public opinion, and obviously creates a subconscious tendency by Sony, even some of youtubers who make these comparatives . If you are young, and like techno, buy a Sony. But if you are over 40 years old, and want to make up for the lack of youth with charm, buy B&W PX 😎👍 . .

I’ve been using the Bose qc35 ii for about 4 months now and I have to agree, these are the best headphones I’ve ever used! Sound quality is great, noise cancellation is perfect for planes and they are super comfy.
I liked the Bose but had to return them cause they make your ears really hot. Highly disappointed for 377 dollars with tax they are comfy but make your ears way too hot and that makes them not comfy to me

I was really hesitant to get the XB950N1, in part because I equated “extra bass” with “muddy bass.” I’ve been pleasantly impressed for the past three months. Most of my favourite songs don’t typically have too much bass to begin with, so the boost is perfect at around +5 to +7 if I just want the bass guitars to be more prominent without sacrificing quality in the different ranges. Also, damn, that comfort!

The Sony 950bt line is hands down the best investment ever!! I have the older version without noise cancelation and no pouch and love it! I use them all the time at my university (UCF, one of the largest schools), sitting and the loudest most populated area possible and still acts like noise cancelation. Had them for attest 2 years now since you recommended them for me and are still easily 10/10 quality wise.
Yea, they’re more premium than the xb950N1, and close to similar with out the advanced ANC of the Sony 1000 XM2. Overall they are great headphones that sound better than the N1 and more stylish than the X2. Also, I don’t think he wants to take away Sony’s recommendations for the headphones he mentioned by introducing a similar headphone pair, since it’s more than likely he is sponsored by Sony, it’s becoming more obvious over the years.
You'll not regret it. What phone do you have? Because Apple products don't have aptX support, whereas some android flagships have aptX HD support (so do the PXs) which gets you 24-bit wireless sound

Im currently rocking a sony x (apt x is supported) and the sennheiser 4.40bt they're really comfy i wear them all day and ive never had problems, and since i live in a kinda third world country there isnt much stores that lets you test headphones so yeah im a bit clueless about other pairs
I purchased the Sony 950N1 last year, sound quality and bass was spot on. The only downside was I couldn't use these to have a phone conversation. People had trouble hearing me and I didn't want to take them off just to talk. Any recommendations for good over the ear headphone where you can talk and stream music? Yeah, I just got a pair new for $154 on ebay before making that comment, so that's why I popped up here, looking at videos hoping the mdr1000x are mostly the same as the upgraded ones, and they seemingly are. Should easily be the best pair of headphones I've had by a wide margin regardless.

Rafal Iwanczuk I vouch for the PX but haven’t tried the H9i’s. I think the H9i’s have nice premium materials, like the PX, but the ear cups seem kinda small. Main things to note on PX are great build quality, flat sound signature, and tight fit. They won’t have the comfort or bass of your Sony’s but will have great detail and passive and active noise isolation.
I tried both at the same time... The PX is better in the most categories, but only a little bit (maybe 10 to 9,9). But I have the H9i now... why? Because the PX have problems with a louder bass and the H9i have a better noise cancelling.
Nice! But I, personally, change all these for a Edifier w800bt, just because of the 75hs of battery use (800hs of standby). Doesn't have noise cancelation, but the sound is good and the battery is killer. I use all week, including on work and get on friday with battery for most of weekend as well.
i have the 950n1 which are great... BUT ! too much sound bleed. Can you please focus on that aspect as well. I live in NYC so when i take the MTA every morning to school/work I sense too many people discomfort with my volume bleed levels.

Be careful because the the things that connects the head piece to the earcups are likely to break. I’ve had two pairs and they both broke on their own and I’m switching off now
I have both of the Sony's and I've gotten both of them primarily based off your rave reviews. I had the XBT's first then recent got the WH1000XM2. I never had noise canceling headphones before and they have blown me away. Great video.
My thoughts: --Bowers & Wilkins: Really nice design, but they're not so comfortable? What's the point? Without long-term comfort, that's a complete deal breaker. --Sony 950 N1: WAY too big and bulky... PLS: "Princess Leia Syndrome." And a cheap bag for a case? Pass. --V-MODA: The styling? Reminds me of what a 12 y/o boy might find cool and, as a man, that's a no-go. Does it come with a Velcro wallet, too? Pass. --Bose: Not bad. Styling is a bit boring, but not bad. Certainly a solid choice. --Beats: Not completely unfortunate, but no self-respecting person who understands real quality would buy Beats. Got the Sennheiser HD 4.40 BT a week back. Charged them the first day, in my seventh day of use and my phone indicates there's still 90% battery left. Never been happier with any purchase.

PSB m4u 8, and Nad HP 70 headphones comparison with the ones you have just compared, would be gratefully appreciated, I currently have the B&W P7 wireless, awesome sounding for a wireless headphones, but the inbuilt battery in them isn't user replaceable, we all know that the battery in these wireless headphones will be the first thing to die, currently I think only the PSB m4u 8, has a user replaceable battery, which is great, I wish more companies would follow this.
I tried a couple of months ago the RHA. They came with the power button not even working. Customer support was horrible but I was able to return them. They wanted to give me a discount, but from a company that has bad quality headphones with decent sound quality and horrible customer service. I just returned them. Not worth it tbh. Waste of time.

I wonder what the best bluetooth headphones are for all range of tone in music. Like for instance best headphones for orchestral or symphony music, best for rock and pop. Best for 80s music and older? Most of these recommendations look awesome for R&B/rap and modern pop that play off of usage of bass, but what I am curious about is mid range that captures the excellence of strings, guitar, etc. So headphones that provide the best quality sound for all types of music.

Rafal Iwanczuk I vouch for the PX but haven’t tried the H9i’s. I think the H9i’s have nice premium materials, like the PX, but the ear cups seem kinda small. Main things to note on PX are great build quality, flat sound signature, and tight fit. They won’t have the comfort or bass of your Sony’s but will have great detail and passive and active noise isolation.

Because the PX have problems with a louder bass and the H9i have a better noise cancelling.
Nice! But I, personally, change all these for a Edifier w800bt, just because of the 75hs of battery use (800hs of standby). Doesn't have noise cancelation, but the sound is good and the battery is killer. I use all week, including on work and get on friday with battery for most of weekend as well.

Every pair I got of the wireless Sony headphones with a lot of bass it would rattle in one ear when I turned up the bass. Several pairs did that

i have the 950n1 which are great... BUT ! too much sound bleed. Can you please focus on that aspect as well. I live in NYC so when i take the MTA every morning to school/work I sense too many people discomfort with my volume bleed levels.

Be careful because the the things that connects the head piece to the earcups are likely to break. I’ve had two pairs and they both broke on their own and I’m switching off now
the xb950N1 are good love the bass but mine broke only lasted 6 months took good care of them to the durability not good

I have both of the Sony's and I've gotten both of them primarily based off your rave reviews. I had the XBT's first then recent got the WH1000XM2. I never had noise canceling headphones before and they have blown me away. Great video.
My thoughts:
--Bowers & Wilkins: Really nice design, but they're not so comfortable? What's the point? Without long-term comfort, that's a complete deal breaker.
--Sony 950 N1: WAY too big and bulky... PLS: "Princess Leia Syndrome." And a cheap bag for a case? Pass.
--V-MODA: The styling? Reminds me of what a 12 y/o boy might find cool and, as a man, that's a no-go. Does it come with a Velcro wallet, too? Pass.
--Bose: Not bad. Styling is a bit boring, but not bad. Certainly a solid choice.
--Beats: Not completely unfortunate, but no self-respecting person who understands real quality would buy Beats. There are much better choices for the money.
--My choice (and unlisted): Sennheiser PXC 550 Wireless. Best noise-canceling, feature-rich BT headphones you can buy, hands down.

Got the Sennheiser HD 4.40 BT a week back. Charged them the first day, in my seventh day of use and my phone indicates there's still 90% battery left.

I've been using the Rebel BT's from The House of Marley, an inexpensive but great sounding wireless on-ear option.

PSB m4u 8, and Nad HP 70 headphones comparison with the ones you have just compared, would be gratefully appreciated, I currently have the B&W P7 wireless, awesome sounding for a wireless headphones, but the inbuilt battery in them isn't user replaceable, we all know that the battery in these wireless headphones will be the first thing to die, currently I think only the PSB m4u 8, has a user replaceable battery, which is great, I wish more companies would follow this.

I tried a couple of months ago the RHA. They came with the power button not even working. Customer support was horrible but I was able to return them. They wanted to give me a discount, but from a company that has bad quality headphones with decent sound quality and horrible customer service. I just returned them. Not worth it tbh. Waste of time.

I used to own the BTs but the swivel joint is such a bad design
They ended up breaking in about 6 months out of nowhere and pretty much rendered them useless after that happened

I was between the QC35II and the WH1000XM2, and after seeing the other video I was going for the sony, now you are suggesting the bose instead? So basically if its between those 2, its the sony, but u prefer the N1, so had to choose the beats? Did I get it correctly?
I have Bose QC mk2 and they are pretty awesome. I think the best part really is how much comfortable and smooth they feel when you wear them.
I wonder what the best bluetooth headphones are for all range of tone in music. Like for instance best headphones for orchestral or symphony music, best for rock and pop. Best for 80s music and older? Most of these recommendations look awesome for R&B/rap and modern pop that play off of usage of bass, but what I am curious about is mid range that captures the excellence of strings, guitar, etc. So headphones that provide the best quality sound for all types of music.
