The Creator has made the world around us in such a way that we recognise beauty in it and that we ourselves are or can be part of that beauty. It saddens me to witness the fate of a nation that once tasted beauty and order. As an Egyptian, I can relate. We, too, once had a leader who possessed similar love for his country and people. But alas, the modern world and its corrupted values held sway, and the dream of a great future was condemned (not in the catastrophic manner Germany experienced, but nonetheless). Yet, I maintain hope, a hope strengthened by individuals like you who ensure the world never forgets the possibility of repeating history and rising once more.
Do not lose your smile friend. We will all break free from the yoke soon. We respect you as you respect us. I too want to see Egypt return to its former glory, to its roots, to rebuild something your own. You just as anyone else have it in you to be part of that too.
