@@valentyntyshchenko6140 "stopped lying both to himself" The show is called "breaking bad", it's about his fall. It didn't do it for himself. This is bad writing because of course they can't have a show where the dude is unapologetically a criminal. he was struggling the whole time, killing kids and Jesse's girlfriend. He was never good at it and never got an ounce of enjoyement out of it. All of his "cool" moments were him just bluffing, they make a point of showing him cracking character in every scene where he plays Heisenberg. But he kept going because he had gone too far to have nothing to show for it, meaning to leave for his family, which was *always* his one and only motivation for all the bad shit he did and saw. He always tried to do the good thing, even though he had to do many bad things.
this is just typical TV writing going down the shitter the more they can't allow a show to just end because they rake in too much profits from it.
being proud and refusing to get a job where you make money that you dont feel you earned but is "safe", taking the dangerous job doesnt mean that ego drives everything you do. where was his ego all these years being a teacher? obviously, he had a catastrophic change in his condition which made him do things differently, but then you cant say that this change wasn't the driving factor just because you disagree with what he did. it was always the original appeal of the show, that he broke bad. you cant just take a giant retcon shit all over the premise because "well, it makes him look like a villain" well you have to accept that he's going to be somewhat unintentionally villainous as part of the premise, duh.
so yeah, this reeks of writer's room juniors trying to get him to look like a badass heisenberg gangster when he, in fact, was never a badass. and this is meant to be him acknowledging that he broke bad. the protagonist doesn't need to acknowledge the premise of the show, its implied.

There is no righting his wrongs, it’s well, well beyond that. You can’t right IRREPARABLE wrongs. In Hanks death the character of Walt is irredeemable. The life-changing If not life-ending l destruction reigned upon absolutely EVERYONE WALT ever associated with from the pilot on is incapable of correction.
From Jesse all the way down to characters as insignificant as Ted, Combo, Krazy 8, and back up to ones like Mike, Skyler, Gus, Hank. Good or bad innocent or guilty EVERY.SINGLE.CHARACTERS. life (if living) is WORSE, RUINED, or OVER for having even been around Walt.
Even those on the fringes. Not 1 character with any actual relevance to the show itself life will EVER be the same. The utter devastation as a direct result of Walt’s actions will negatively impact several generations long after he’s gone. Think Holly, jr, Jesse, Lydia’s daughter and their kids (assuming they have them).
Again you can’t fix something that was annihilated, decimated, and irreparably broken. But damn it this was the closer you’d probably ever come.

What started as a man who tried to support his family even after his death, turned into something Walter did with a passion and something he didn't feel overqualified or annoyed for. It's ironic how he must have finally felt alive for real for the first time just after getting diagnosed cancer.

We have all been there; obviously this is a piece of fiction, but I wouldn't be too surprised if a lot of criminal activity in regards to drug trafficking/production is down to relatively similar circumstances like this: cancer excluded, as that is obviously a device to give the show a timeframe.

Once in a purple moon you'll get really good filmmakers like vince gilligan that just want to tell a story and will put as much effort into it as possible, but for the forseeable future there will be a lot more bad shows than good shows.

Heck no, I liked this show because it knew how to go from beginning to end. No unnecessary seasons that expands nothing on the characters, no filler episodes that serves no purpose to the plot, NOTHING that you see with series that have lost its charm like The Walking Dead, Money Heist, etc for the solely reason to milk money and ruin a good serie. Vince Gilligan knew how to start, develop, and end his masterpiece. If you want more breaking bad then watch Better Call Saul, since it it happens before, during and after Breaking Bad's ending.
People like you is the reason good shows get worse seasons by the time goes on, the Director did what he wanted, there's nothing left to solve for BB. I respect Breaking bad for not becoming like The walking dead and actually finishing its story on a good note.

3:33 Reckon those two are technically responsible for everything? Cuz if they didn't screw Walt over before the show started, he prolly would've been a wealthy man living with his family. Though Jesse prolly would've OD'd or something given that Walter wouldn't do everything

I dont believe him when he says 'I did it for myself' because he does make sure his family will get taken care of, rights his wrong as best he can. It feels like he said it to her to give her peace of mind more than anything. Anyhow, one of the best seasons out there.

The first time I watched BB, I didn't make it to the finale and actually got bored right before the climax of the whole show, but the second time I watched it, I realized just how much I missed out on. Him admitting why he did it just tied everything together perfectly.

The next Vince Gilligan production has to be in 4:3 ratio. Breaking Bad looks great in it, and the feel of the ratio just seems like it’d fit perfectly with his shows.

I love this show so much and its whole universe. It is the BEST entertainment I have experienced in my whole life. Incredible story, good length just enough to allow you to connect to these characters and watch them develop and short enough that it doesn't drag with filler episodes, masterpiece characters, setting, fantastic music choices. This is literally the only show where after I finished watching it, a week later I wanted to watch it again! it's rare for me to want to watch or play something again when i've already experienced it so soon.

Breaking Bad and all of its accompanying media have left a profound impression on me. I binged Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul over the Summer one time when I was still in school, then went back nearly a month later upon discovering that movie that stars Jesse in his times as a [non-consenting worker]. I had just started studying film-making after all my years of watching movies, TV series and animated shows/anime, and discovered what could only be called genius in Breaking Bad, with nearly all the missing pieces put in place with Better Call Saul, finally completed with that movie, and I haven't seen a universe that's topped it by much since. I don't think I've ever seen a creation where the second go-around (Better Call Saul) exclusively refines the first, polishing up pretty much all of the flaws and empty space that were left by Breaking Bad, and the _sheer emotion_ in that damn movie will never leave my brain. _It's just so damn sad, man._ I love every bit of it, from the unfathomable highs to the actually-just-slightly-above-average lows.
