Unboxing, reviewing, installing the Resideo Honeywell Home DT4R radio frequency room thermostat

Derek in this video installs the new Resideo Honeywell Home DT4R room thermostat onto his combination boiler at home. Derek unboxes, reviews and installs the thermostat but remember you must be gas safe registered and qualified on boilers to do this yourself.

Hello there. I have an old school rotary thermostat in my lounge, wired to a control panel positioned in the kitchen (ST9400C), from which i can set times for heating to come on, set it to continuous or set to off etc. I have just bought a DT4 stat and replaced the rotary stat with it. Looks much more modern. However, I notice now that it seems to over-ride/ignore the ST9400C panel. For example, if I set to 'off' at the panel, if I pump up the target temp on the DT4 the heating comes on. Any ideas? I want the panel to be the 'master' & not the DT4. Thank you for any advice.

Whilst interesting you keep reviewing products that Resideo Honeywell just aren't selling in the UK. I need those balancing valves you reviewed the other week - no one in the United Kingdom stocks them, checked on these Stats again same issue. Seems kinda pointless in all honesty

I have seen the TRVs and the stats for sale on the web but I will ask my local rep tomorrow if there is a problem

Just had a reply back from my rep he says
wolseley, James hargreaves and city plumbing are stockist of the trv’s along with many of the Ukps branches and distributors like H&v and f&p plus many others.
The dt4 orders have been a bit slower but Wolsey, James hargreaves f&p and H&v have stock. Hope that helps

I bought and fitted 16 of Valencia balancing TRV’s from City Plumbing last week……..had trouble finding the App but an email to customer support and they sent me a link. All good.
