Having owned the 11, 12 Pro Max, 13 Pro Max, and currently the 14 Pro Max, I can say that there is a huge difference in the camera and video department. That 48MP Raw blows away the 12 MP of 13 Pro Max
Really starting to think that they have the exact same sensors and only minor changes were made for the newer ones, mainly added a bit of HDR, and sharpness and brightness in low light. I'd say definitely do not downgrade from 11 :D
I heard that that’s basically true for all newer models, slightly different lenses, bit of tweak in the hardware, but the majority of difference is software based only. If you could get the same software on your iPhone 11, you would see probably very similar results.

Definitely, not going for iPhone 14 though, regardless of the advances that are rather more suitable for videobloggers. In other aspects, I do not feel like dropping again 1800 euros for the max capacity and iPhone 14 Pro version. So I will upgrade, most likely with 15-16 gen.
It’s amazing to me how the iPhone 11 Pro looks leaps and bounds better in a lot of these - especially the golden hour portrait photos 🤔 captures much better lighting and nicer tones, not cold like the 14. Might keep my 11 after all.

Thank you for making some thing that is exactly what I’ve been looking for. The only thing I wish I could see is the cinematic video on the 14 Pro. That is the one thing that I’ve been thinking about switching over for, but honestly other than the image stabilization, I have to ask myself is a $1850 upgrade worth it? I find the video is far better on the iPhone 14 pro. There is honesty no comparison between them. If you watch this video on the biggest screen you can, you will see the difference clearly. Watching on a phone or tablet makes it harder to see the difference. I did show the Cinematic working in the comparison video, that you saw. maybe wait a few more months for the iPhone 15? For me it’s hard to sum up a real difference because it seemed I preferred 1 camera in comparisons and the other camera in other situations Also, in some situations I preferred the warmth of the photos from one camera or vice versa Im Not sure why that is!? I’m assuming the settings were the same In addition, the resolution seemed comparable enough to not consider upgrading at this point As you pointed out, the clear difference was in the videos while running with the 14 clearly winning Thoughts?
As for the color difference, it is simply the way the iPhone process the image. You can edit them to get the look you like. I find the iPhone 11 on the warmer side and the Iphone 14 shifts more to the cooler side. There is a big difference in photo quality and video quality between the two. If you zoom into 100% crop between them, you will see it. Don't get me wrong the iPhone 11 is pretty good. I didn't complain about it when I had it, I just find the newer technology and quality better in the iPhone 14. The same will happen when the iPhone 17 comes out.

14 pro and also since 13.. 13 pro image is way to processed and artificially sharpened with lot's of artificial Haloing on the edges of contrast edges. I really prefer more natural and a bit more noisy image of older generation iPhones like 11 and 12. one thing where 13.. 14.. 15 pro versions shines is a better video in very low light. that's it.
True. I think the thing is they try to get what they think is a perfect image. I feel they do that for the person who just wants to take a photo and do zero editing. Kind of like the fast food of photography

There is a huge difference in image/video quality between them. Watch it again on big screen. You can't even compare the video stabilization between them, way to much difference.

You can't add sharpnes in lowlight if there is no enough light on sensor.

Hi ,Thank you sir, so I'm going to up grade my iphone 11 - to - 14 pro Max, on 28 feb 23. I found not much different , but the prise ! almost a double. I think 11 is much wider lens than 14 pro max in your video ?
The iPhone 14 pro had stabilization on, which will crop the image in a bit. That may be why.

True, I try to get people to watch on the biggest screen they can. The difference is very apparent then.

There is a fair amount of difference. There is enough difference to make an upgrade from the 11 well worth it. especially with the 15 out now.
Iphone 11 is really bad with light. I want to upgrade mine just for that reason.
The iPhone 14 pro is a lot better in low light vs the iPhone 11, but it still needs a lot of work.

The only difference I see is dynamic range
There is a huge difference in image/video quality between them. Watch it again on big screen. You can't even compare the video stabilization between them, way to much difference.
