HAI VAN PASS Crash Story: The Top 5 Tips for Riding a Motorbike in Vietnam

Hai Van Pass in the central Vietnam.
One of the most beautiful roads in the world, at the same time quite dangerous too. In this video I'm gonna tell you a story about the two attempts my sister and I made to get through this road, one of which ended pretty badly. I'll try to share everything in detail so that you are better prepared for the ride through Hai Van Pass.
I'll analyse what exactly went wrong, and then share some tips on riding a motorbike in Vietnam, I hope you will find them helpful!

Ah thanks! Yeah, I was trying to make it sorta dramatic but then didn't want to push too hard on it. The epilogue is a bit longish but I think it is justifiable 😌

So glad she wasn't in a worse accident due to all the gear and whatnot. Hope she is fully recovered this year with mobility and whatnot. You didn't say how the accident happened? Was it a big truck that ran her off the road or something else?

Oh hey, she's much better now... But still that was really traumatising. We don't realy know why she fell. She said she didn't see the turn, like the road marking was gone on that spot and she just didn't realise there was a turn. Plus she was pretty tired by that time so that I guess that all affected her.

Yeah it was pretty terrifying to be honest
Seeing my sister getting in an accident was one of my worst nightmares...
But yeah, we managed to get out of it!
