As a first batch owner of Tiago.EV XZ+ Tech Lux, I would like to say over the 22000km I have driven this vehicle, I am very satisfied. In my state post subsidy the price difference was just Rs.2,00,000, and for that I get extra features (leather seats, auto lights and wipers, keyless entry with push button start, cruise control, connected car tech vs the ICE AMT Top end variant), and better power and smoother drive experience. I have recovered the price difference in a year, and would also recommend other to consider this car seriously if the use case is purely city scenarios. If given a choice, I would have upgraded to a Punch LR looking at current prices. Also new features like reverse parking sensors and auto dimming mirror have been added in the 2024 model. I have been very satisfied with the reliability and service experience, although fit and finish could have been better.
Subsidy ??? I don't think govt is giving any subsidy for cars it's only for two wheelers
@@rahulv19 subsidy is introduced on ev for manufacturing and promotion in the country.
Right now, maximum subsidy one can get on ev is 1.5 lakh rs.
@@justinsama5083 i was told by dealer that there is no subsidy
Nice crisp review. Though I own petrol tiago'17 model yet I love to drive it. Quick especially in 3th and 4th gear, and easy to drive. Mileage is also decent in city giving 15-16 kmpl. Wish to buy punch ev in future.
Please check the 2024 version I think it has both camera and sensors
Owners choice 👍
Haan Bhai pickup bahut tezz hai maine dekha hai jab ek Tiago ev mujhse overtake kiya tha aur kuch min mein gayab

Go for tigor, you will get more boot space.
How this EV compares to Tata CNG versions.

Agar mai kahi mere pass 45000kms + driven tata tiago.ev h gaadi acchi h mai ise as a primary vehicle use krta hu
Will Tata bring tiago on acti.ev platform ?
What is the current Punch to Nexon to Tiago ratio in terms of EV sales ? Who is the buyer's favourite ?
Current trend in 2024 EV sales worldwide is on downfall, plz ask Tata team about it. There will be rise of hybrids according to Japanese Oems, scarcity of rare earth elements is one of the reason.
What do you guys think ? Tata Mahindra do not have any strong hybrid yet. Are they working on it ? Or Indian OEMs are clearly avoiding hybrid route ? My brother from Pune wanted to opt 7-8 seater diesel mpv, but he fears that ban is imminent in future. And he doesn't want to waste the capital on few years of ownership.
Awsome Car Review 😍
Thank You!
BYD seagull better if launch
Why do hybrid cars have such a low capacity battery pack ?
What if they have a 5-10 kwh battery pack ?
How much fuel economy will be affected ?
Price will increase that's y
@@sabarinathps2222 it'll hardly increase by a lakh or two.
My question is more technical though. How the increased battery size will affect the economy, will it increase or not ?
@@hmmmm9327 ofc the economy will increase. But the price will increase drastically....like u will be charged 1.5 lakhs per 1 kwh atleast. If you want 3 kWh then it will cost 4.5 to 5 lakhs.
Economy will also increase from 15 to 40kmpl. Also the battery pack will take up your boot space completely.
But most people are not ready to pay for that.
@@sabarinathps2222 you are mistaking battery price for something else. It was pricier earlier. But while selling a car with battery included, the unit price goes down quite a bit. So it is definitely not ₹1.5lakh for 1 kwh.
@@hmmmm9327 hybrid cars sold below 25 lakhs have 0.5 to 0.8 kWh battery and they are 1.5 lakh more than normal varients.
What you said is opposite.
The battery alone cost less. When used in a car after the tax and all 1kwh cost above 1 lakh.
That's why manufacturers are not promoting bigger batteries in budget hybrid vehicles
