1:40 I think I have figured out why they’re grey looking. I think they’re using the Beach to travel, much like Fragile used it to help you fast travel in DS1. Sam would look kind blueish and washed out when he was on the Beach in the first game.
Death Stranding was a masterpiece, not even just as a game but for any form of media. I get why some people don't enjoy the gameplay, but the atmosphere and story really drew me in and kept me hooked the entire time.
Higgs has Amelie's hair and her necklace. And his armor is red like her dress. And the mask he's wearing when he comes out of that sarcophagus looks an awful lot like Amelie's too. The whole thing looks like a cult worshiping her or something.
Amazing! Also, during the fight scene, Lou might be the one possessing the giant robots, cause you hear baby-like laughter. Lou trying to protect her father figure, while the sensors might be flashing as a way to show that Lou considers Higgs as an emeny.
Think Lou/Louise has some telekinetic abilities. Her ka (spirit) is able to manipulate objects. The toy in the kitchen rolling towards Sam comes to mind as well.
Fragile said her name is fragile in name only. Wonder what she meant by that? And why does Ellie fannings character look just like the lady who was levitating except the lady has black hair. Also Ellie famning has puppet strings behind her. Lots of questions lol. Also Ellie fanning was the same character in the beginning of that trailer with them cutting out some chiral shell from her body and cutting in to one of harms. She’s seen later with a bandage on that same arm as well.
I feel like we saw Fragile die in the first DS2 trailer. Also, her smoking and lighting the cig with a snap reminded me of Cliff. Sam asks if Higgs is the one who killed Lou, maybe he meant the original Lou. I think we see Fragile holding new Lou as a baby when she dies. We also hear Deadman tell Sam BB-28 was disposed of 4 years before he met the new Lou. Maybe Lou has different forms or bodies. Or maybe they brought her back from her beach and she had been aging this whole time. Unfortunately all we can do is guess and will only get answers when we finally play the game.

Pretty sure when she said fragile by name it’s because a bit earlier they say porters are pretty much useless now and she was leading fragile express which isn’t a thing anymore now.
well i think the girl they discovered in the chiral shell is shioli kutsuna(she got no poster yet so far)... you can look properly at the end when sam helps george and lea to put the body down... I dont know what im talking about but i feels like it shioli kutsuna
In DS1 we 'adopt' BB-28, after we lose our crew the first time we see Higgs in-game. Later on, we start calling BB-28 'Lou,' which then becomes 'Louise' at the end (after Sam takes her out of the BBpod). We are NEVER told, who BB-28 was. Popular theory is that it was Sam's childl but, what we hear right now is that the original BB-28 wasn't Lou but a different baby. Which means, who we call Lou was never the original BB-28 the question is why did they incinerate the original one and used the same designation number for a different BB
Well, my head hurts a little, but so did Death Stranding 1 during the trailer period, definitely a game series you need to experience to get the answers (or at least some answers)

Sam's wife death are explained in the game. -- Spoiler-- Since she bared with Sam's child, she can see or having visions about death stranding events, because Sam's DOOM ability inherited to his child and that ability seeping to the mother and become too much for her to handle, thus she end her life to escape from those curse.
It's always nice to hear real Australian accents by real Australians. You know Kojima is a good director when you hear that, its simple but so many directors fuck it up and try to put their own swing on it.. Like Vanille in FF13, making an aussie do all these weird sounds lol

So many talk bad about death stranding , this game isn’t for simple people no offense , you need to be intelligent in order to understand and love that game and kojima him self in an interview said this game was made not for everyone it was made for those smart enough to understand what this game is. I have never experienced another game like I did death stranding and the thought of doing it again in part 2 in a new world and new tools and characters etc is sooooooooo exciting to me. P.s the fighting scene at the end I think I understand it , so Lou is dead and his bt is in the old carrier and I’m sure Lou possessed that cyborg and attacked Higgs because the baby’s laughter I heard during the fight scene and the androids sensor was going off indicating a bt was near by.

If you have the time, it is a ride...directors cut especially, just be ready for a game unlike anything...and lots of walking. (I think walking is the fun part)

Was recently watching her playthrough of Death Stranding. Currently on part 6 of her playthrough. I have to say, a conversation she was having with chat did not age well 😒She was talking about the Cyber Truck and Elon and one of the chatters said they thought it was the ugliest car ever (to which they are objectively correct) and she said watch, in a couple years all vehicles will look like that.... Youch lol. Definitely not. That truck is just also generally bad in most regards. It has shit torque, its axle system is just, horrendous, and its crash test data is remarkably poor. Like, if you crash into anything head on going 50 - you are absolutely going to die. There is no compression zone on the front of the vehicle to absorb the impact, which means it will all be transferred to the individuals inside. Also, its a giant hunk of stainless steel. It's just objectively bad. I hope she has seen the error of her ways, especially considering all the has happened with Elon over the past few years. I really hope she's not some Elon simp...

As much as I'd love more Death Stranding, I'm a little disappointed they are making a sequel. I think the first game ended beautifully and was arguably a masterpiece that didn't need a sequel. I think by having a second game it may tarnish that similar to how people are not happy with how The Last of Us 2 went down.
Man I just don't get the hype behind Death Stranding at ALL. Did I play 1 wrong or something? I gave it 15 hours and it felt awful. I usually love story games idk what happened.
I would say 15 hours barely scratches the surface depending on how you play. The ending sequences was what really made me fall in love with it after just being confused and intrigued the first portions.
15 hours lol you didn’t even get to the game , it starts after 15 hours. I spent over 10 hours in the starting map before taking the ship to the real game start
My full playthrough was about 60 hrs and I didn't do a lot of side quests. So you didn't get very far. The story kicks in later, but if the opening 30-45 mins didn't hook you idk what to say.
Honestly, if you don't feel like playing the game, if it didn't pull you in, I'd still heavily suggest watching the cutscenes to get a grasp of the complete story

I kinda understand "he's overhype" sometimes and Kojima can be a little over the top with his stuff. But overrated is just mildly disrespect at least towards what he's done to the gaming scene. There's a reason why people love his work, why he gets the pops everytime "A Hideo Kojima game" appeared or him being on stage.
DS isnt really over hyped. Its a long story game that you have to really figure out to what is going on and not have it spoon fed to you, yes the gameplay loop can be a tad cheesy at times but with the bt's around it didnt feel lonley and somewhat a decent challenge to get through them without getting detected which you would know if you actually play the game. The cinematics are really good and somewhat tells you whats going on in the game though it can still leave more questions than answers atleast in the beginning it starts to come together at the end. Kojima is loved cause he has a unique taste in what he makes so you never really know what you are going to get unlike most games where if they find what works they stick to that for years on end. Plus i believe DS was his first game after he left konami so now the gloves are off and he can make whatever he wants now. After this game comes out he going to be making another metal gear isk game again.
