British Railways has now announced their new advanced tilting trains that use a revolutionary system created by none other than Sam’s trains. Testing is currently going underway “without major troubles” whatever that means.

“Mucking about” reminds me of a Thomas & Friends episode where Max and Monty keep fooling around, especially in front of Thomas, and while working with The Pack. They both got in trouble at the end though for causing an accident by pouring dirt and rocks on the track which caused Thomas to be derailed. It’s funny how both Max and Monty both got caught by the police at the end, LOL! It’s such a great Thomas & Friends episode! 🤣

Those trains flew off the rails literally. Well done Sam you made a train fly a little bit lol. Those people were super glued to their seat so they could not save themselves.

I still remember the ride I had on the WCML over Shap and Beattock on a Bank Holiday in 1984, being swayed back and forth against my mother in what seemed like a museum piece carriage, maybe a Mark I? "Thunderbox" would be an apt description, and we were traveling first class on a Britrail pass. It was fast but one of the least comfortable train trips I ever had.

I am curious about where this simulator - or any other of its kind - will be in, say, ten years' time, with graphics maxed as in some of the games we see even today? With the mechanic off his chair, and the passengers groping about trying to make sense of what has just happened...

I had a Bachmann class 166 once and it derailed on a table. The front part fell off the table and the cab came off. Great video. Are you going to do more videos like this?

This reminds me of my classic days playing Train Simulator. I wasn't interested in having a realistic engineer career. Release the brakes, open the regulator fully, load up the fire until it's white hot, and just let the train go mental! Happy times...

Hey Thomas - most reasonably modern mid-high spec PCs should be able to manage this - a dedicated GPU (graphics card) is preferable!
