I love this version. More abstract, still amazing colours and the effects are awesome. Your videos are fabulous and I never miss them. Well done Holly. 🔥❇️😍
I love this design!!! It almost reminds me of visual audio waves! You could totally make a black soap with that, maybe like pour half of it in the mold, put an inch or two layer of electric red, or whichever color, then more black on top then up and down with the hanger tool, sometimes being shallow with it for the wave parts. That would kick butt !
Hi I just wanted to say I love watching your videos! They are so relaxing and you always sound so bright and optimistic, It makes my day! Your soap looks beautiful,as always
I actually enjoy watching soapers versions of embers or bonfire. The scent is quite amazing too! I like the lawyers came out in that gray that was like the perfect color
Hi Holly 😊 I love watching your videos and would watch if you put up a new video every single day! Please tape all of your soap making, even if you think it’s “boring”!
I would have guessed that it would have had a lot more up and down swirly things! It also appeared like there was going to be a lot less of the colours. I like it!
I feel the same way! Haha! I have gotten some good muscle memory and can handle them fairly well at this point. The pot with soap in it is usually 50 lbs. The soap in the mold is around 55-60lbs. It's a lot!
I would love this! I am visually impaired and love your comments and the sounds of the soap making process. Do you ever use vetevee … a fav scent of mine. Forgive any misspelling… Siri don’t always understand me.
Hiiiii!! Beautiful soap. Lovely job. This is going to sound weird, but I feel I have maybe missed an episode when you started using different colored parchment paper for lining your molds. This parchment paper you are using seems a bit more, I guess, obedient then the regular white parchment paper. Was this the only parchment/baking paper that you could find now days? Or did you try this type from peoples comments? Do you like this paper more then the original type that is seen everywhere? Thanks for the video!!!
Thank you! I think the first time I used the brown paper was on the pumpkin soap video. I just started buying massive rolls and always choose brown over white when given the option. That being said, this brown does not hold up as well as standard freezer paper and a lot of my molds are getting oil stains and that irritates me greatly!
Hello Holly, Hope you're having a wonderful day! I know your hubby custom makes your soap molds (lucky duck!😁). If you don't mind me asking, what size is this one? It's the one you've been using for quite a while. And it's BIG! LOL. Thanks in advance. And Thank You for all your awesome inspiration!!! You ROCK girl!😄 -Julie
This video was so pleasing to watch, i mean i always enjoy your videos but maybe it was the silkiness of the black or just the sounds but it was just a pleasure lol Beautiful soap as always too :)
Was you going for the technique of "pointy layers" to create the flame look 🔥 cause I think you nailed it and the black is gorgeous its so deep and dark. Maybe when you make this one again save some of the orange to splatter over the black top then swirl it in I think that would look cool. 🖤🧡
Thank you! A couple of times during the video I dripped...the orange across the white and then the orange across the black...I definitely have new soap ideas for next year!
Yes very nice soap, Holly. I love Harleys their beautiful bikes. "The Hillbilly Kitchen" my goodness I never ever would have thought Becky and her husband would have a Harley but they do or did he just recently pass away so I don't guess Becky will be riding anymore. you should check her out. Thank you, Holly
Hi Holly! So cool with the colors and design ❤️ may I ask you a question? When you use activated charcoal do your soaps bubbles turn out black? Every time I use it my soap bubbles are black. I’m wondering if it’s something that happens no matter how much you use. Love your videos👌🏻
Thank you! Yes, they just do end up with a light grey lather usually. Sometimes the lather will be fairly white/normal but the 'drips' will be black. It's hard to avoid to get the dark black.
Hi Holly! I was wondering if you would answer a labeling question for me, I’m so confused! I’ve been inspired by you and a few others to take my hobby and sell if I can. But I’m not sure on the address part-I don’t want to put my personal address on there and read P.O. Box is okay as long as I have mine available somewhere to see were it’s made. I was thinking like the white or yellow pages. Is this something you can advise me on? Or guide me in the right direction? Thank you so much!
Hi Tiffany! Thanks! I would just accept the idea of putting your personal address on your label. You need the address of the place of manufacture. I think the only way to get around it has something to do with a phone number/listed in the phone book, etc.. In this day and age, anyone can find your personal address if they really wanted to. That's my take on it anyway. I remember being concerned many years ago...to date I haven't had an issue with my address on my labels.
Hi Holly. I hope you don't take this as a criticism, but it puzzles me. When you're measuring out your liquids, why do you say, for example, "3000 M-L" and pronounce the letters? Why not say "3000 mils" or "3000 milliliters"? When you talk about weight, you don't say "6 O-Z", you say "six ounces". I enjoy watching your videos and I'm always impressed with both the never-ending inspiration and the amazing end products, but this has always made me wonder.
It's because it's not our standard unit of measurement and I've been learning it via the pitchers. What you say makes sense but I'm not doing anything other than seeing the 'ml' and saying the 'ml'. I have never heard anyone say 'mils' that I recall.
@@moriversoap Oh, thanks! I'm European and everything is in "mils" over here. I'd actually never heard anyone say M-L. That's why it stuck out. Anyway, thanks for replying!
@@moriversoap Ha ha ha! Ok, I'll be waiting patiently. I only found your channel a few weeks ago so I'm catching up on lots of old videos. You make some lovely designs!

Why is the jiggly spreading of the batter so SATISFYING?! 😂
I don't know but I agree!
Do it! Get the motorcycles! I love riding with my husband - I hope to ride my own soon, just haven't done it yet. I have the bike already though 😃
And emerald and ivory would be gorgeous, my dream bike! Or emerald with camel brown. I personally dream of having an Indian motorcycle.
It just sounds like so much fun! Horse or a Harley? That is the question. Haha!
@@moriversoap that is tough, but for me not having any pastures but plenty of parking lots, it's the motorcycle haha 😂

Hi Holly, what percentage of milk do you use per lb of oils
I use it fairly low, between 3-5%.
