My grandparents bought me a tv with a built in VHS player. To this day, it still works. VHS really does give me nostalgia, and it really does make me wonder what life was like in the 80’s? 🤔 While we have DVD’s, Blue Ray, and downloadable content, VHS is something that doesn’t deserve to be forgotten, because without it, we wouldn’t have made improvements.

Tbh the newest Walten Files videos have not only improved significantly in quality, but have also created the perfect blend of classic old fashioned horror with elements of modern horror fiction. The aesthetic and the story fit the base for a good movie, then adding further bits of modern analog horror has made a series worth watching. If there are further improvements to be made regarding animation, style, aesthetic and such, then this is a series more than worth watching and supporting. Best of wishes to the Walten Files team. Keep making content that is worth everyone’s while.

From the previous video, here are some of my headcanon BTS facts (In-Universe where both The Mysterious House and The Return of the Pumpkin Rabbit are fictional horror movies in an anthropomorphic animal world) just in case: 1.) Jay's actress was actually scared of using a real lighter and they instead gave her a toy lighter instead to mimic the real one used by an adult crew member to light up both the lantern and the book. 2.) Dino's actor actually has a neurodevelopmental disorder in real life which explains his behavior in the film, but his parents refused to give further details. 3.) Paco's actor actually suffered a panic attack when he was locked in the room due to his fear of being by himself in dark places. During the filming of the scene, the actress for the Rachel/Witch Sheep noticed this and she comforted him while telling the crew if they could take a break. 4.) Ralph's actor absolutely felt terrorized when the actor for the Lorenzo/Pumpkin Rabbit was chasing him. And when his death scene was filmed, the child's screams sounded so real that they had stopped filming to see if he was ok. Prior to this, the actor for the Pumpkin Rabbit noticed the child actor actually crying and had a hard time doing the scene again, feeling guilty. After filming the scene, the actor for Pumpkin Rabbit apologized to the child actor and his parents many times and the child admitted that while he felt scared, he and his parents forgave the actor and are on good terms. 5.) The actor for Lorenzo/Pumpkin Rabbit is actually a fan of horror films and drew inspiration from them since he was a child. While his family isn't a fan of horror, the actor adored it so much that it inspired him to pursue acting and it just blew every director and producer away. However, when he was given the role of a child serial killer, the actor had a lot of time to think it through since he has kids of his own, but then agreed to it. He even went dressed as the Pumpkin Rabbit on Halloween alongside his kids! 6.) The actress for Rachel/Witch Sheep also felt uncomfortable playing as a child serial killer due to being a mother of 3. Every time she saw a scene where a child was murdered troubled her where she would often have nightmares of her children being in that scenario. After the first film, she became very wary and alerted on Halloween night where she accompanied alongside her children when they went Trick-o-Treating and sticked close to them as well as not going into any areas outside of their neighborhood. 7.) The actors and actresses for Tammy, Duckie, Johnny, and the other ghost children are now in their late-teens (17-18) since the first films release (1979), which explains their tall stature. They even had to tone down Duckie's actors voice to make him sound young again. When the cast reunited, both actors for Lorenzo and Rachel had a bittersweet reunion with the actors of Tammy and Duckie now that the children they once knew are almost becoming adults. 8.) After the conclusion of the film, the cast had a nice party where the cast members reveal their plans in life after the film. The child actors are taking a break from acting to focus on school. Tammy, Duckie, and the ghost children's actors and actresses are applying for universities to pursue their own career choices, with some applying for acting from inspiration. And Lorenzo/Pumpkin Rabbit's and Rachel/Witch Sheep's actors being given new roles for future horror movies. I've seen a lot of fanart where most media has a fan-BTS art where the characters are actually played by actors who do wholesome moments in the backstage. These were fun to do tbh! Its nice this is getting some real love in the community despite its more nicheness. The Return of The Pumpkin Rabbit was incredibly well made and genuinely so unique in style that I struggle to call it even Analog horror exactly, but whatever the style was it made it work amazingly to the point that I'd watch a whole show done like it.
