Tape 1:
This is a compilation of Tapes created by the already extinct Bunny Smiles Company
I tried to get as much info as I could about what these tapes are, all I could find was that these tapes were handed to new employees back in 1974-1979 the rest of the tapes seem to be recorded by a new "Facility Caretaker" in the year 1982, Hopefully, I can find more tapes soon.

For those wondering why this was reuploaded, the owner of the footage used during the forest scene in the original video took down Company Introductory Tape because
Martin used the footage without the original owner's permission. That's why the scene where Brian drives to the facility has been replaced.

I remeber randomly stumbling on this a year or two ago, and I remember it unerving me especially well.

I’m glad we now have more context for 9:24 because it always confused me until volume 4 gave us a bit more context. Bon mistook Brian for Sophie because of the facial recognition system

The fact that we actually get new content in this old version really blows me away. It actually even makes look 100 times better than the original. Not only that but it also pinpoints a few extra missing pieces of the lore. If this is how Martin is still making us hyped for more of The Walten Files content in the future then be definitely deserves a huge pat on the back.

That whole creepy face sequence when Brian gets attacked is so, so much worse after watching episode 4. Many people including myself thought it represented Brian’s face getting bludgeoned and mutilated by Bon during the attack, which is creepy enough, but with the new episode I think the truth is much creepier. Bon is using his face identification software on Brian, and recognizing him as Sophie due to the software having her in its database and, as Lacrimosa proved, it also sometimes confuses people’s faces for others.

For anyone wondering, the song when Jack appears is called Clair De Lune by Debussy. The piece itself is based on a XIX century french poem which speaks about a masquerade, disguises and the sadness, silence and beauty the moonlight-hence the name of the song-brings to all of it, freezing the scene in it's place.
Edit: Wheter or not this has a *hidden* meaning, the song is beautiful, one of my favorite pieces and worth a listen.
I think its also playing at around 9:14 to 9:20 too? Its very quiet and I think its a music box version of it but it sounds like the song as well

I get it now, the face is a FACIAL SCAN, showing the result of his face after it was pulverized

What’s crazy is that in 1974 VHS did not exist yet so the earliest videos have to come from either U-matic tapes or Reel to Reel and then converted to VHS in 1982
And 1982 is the present day in this series.
i like to think that the videos were created in the early 70s and when VHS was created in 77' they decided to make tapes but then kinda lost track and they were considered lost media and then were found.
For me, you're right but then it happened or was invented one year when Elvis Presley died from cardiac arrest in 1977.

Man, this really takes me back to early 2020 when i first saw The Walten Files on the fnaf subreddit. Glad to see TWF1 again, thankfully the problem was fixed, it’s also very cool seeing the new parts you added to the scenes! This is very refreshing to see, good work Martin!

A true classic in the world of Analog Horror… for the number of times TH-cam has tried to take this series down, you truly can’t keep a good rabbit down. Keep up the great work, Martin.
Why has TH-cam tried to take it down? Just curious.
Take this with a grain of salt, but my guess as to why it was taken down could be because it’s received so much traction that TH-cam must’ve mistaken the original video for a “Copy-Paste” video. Martin has since re-worked the videos featuring new clips and tweaked audio, so as to possible not cause any confusion in the future.

It's too bad about the driving through the forest footage; the old forest looked much easier to get lost in and really emphasized the "I've been driving in one direction for 20 minutes straight" feeling. Love the new content with the pictures on the wall and Jack at the end!
Also, unrelated, but I just put together that the shifting 3D face model is supposed to represent how Brian got his face rearranged (RIP bestie 😔)
Yeah and I'm 90% sure with how walten edited and transformed it it fell under fair use but some people like the claimant are jusy grumpy people with hurt booties

As someone who studied cine photography for a couple of years, this is one of the best ARGs ive seen. One tactic that I’ve noticed in his videos is the way some of his scarier clips are short, which provides a delay of emotion. It really doesn’t give you a moment to react, considering many clips following after creates a more happier mood

It has been almost three years since I first watched this series and became a fan of it, and it still gives me chills

The ending now has a couple interesting connections to what was shown in 4.
The 3d faces shown before Brian is attacked is clearly the Facial recognition technology, which is what Determined if Brian looked like Sophie, which Bon thought was the case as a result.
The pulsing beeping at the end could be showcasing to the radar system that the animatronics use to move around.
Dude, I emedietly made the same connection when I re-watch this episode too!

I'm glad we not only got this important piece of the Walten Files back, but also Martin gave a small touch of his new refined taste in horror into it, almost being a remaster while still keeping the core of the episode intact. I'm happy everything resolved itself in the end and we can move forward toward a brighter future for the series.

The Walten files has to be my favorite series. The shear amount of detail, effort, and dedication put into this series is astonishing and I'm so happy seeing it get the recognition it truly deserves

-The vintage bunny footage as shown in Susan’s clips and in Lucky You
-Jack’s face at the end
-The three portraits Brian finds once he’s entered K-9: One picture of Felix, another one of Edd and Molly, and the third one is a picture of the main crew. Jack, Felix, Rosemary and Susan can be seen there; as for the other ones in the picture, one could theorize. Perhaps it’s Charles next to Jack, Linda right below Felix, and whoever Chris truly is next to Felix on the far left corner
I still find it wierd the copyright went through since it would seem fairly obvious it fell under fair use due to the transformative nature of the clips in the original video

So, the creepy face when Bon kills Brian is because he was scanning Brian's face to see if his victim was Sophie. And when the scan finished, Bon realized he killed Brian

No idea how your original use of that footage wasn’t transformative enough but I’m glad you’ve figured everything out. Can’t wait for part 4!!!!
When I first binge-watched this series last year, I was left upset; but that was just because I lost my innocence that day, lol. Coming back to this, I realized how influential of an animator and horror enthusiast he is, and how cool this series is in general. In fact, I'm thinking about creating an analog horror-inspired comic soon, and I have Martin Walls, along with Jack Stauber, to thank for giving me the idea to include this theme, and to combine it with the theme of mental health issues. Amid all of the blood-curdling screams, uncanny valley characters and tall eyes, this series does an outstanding job driving the point home that FNaF and its fan content were never meant for kids. Overall, I believe that horror gets the job done when it makes the viewer feel uncomfortable, and needless to say, Martin excels in doing this. Keep up the great work, Martin!

One of my favorite parts of this series is the sound design. The ambience in the K-9 facility is so unnerving and awesome and it adds so much to the atmosphere. I wonder how it was made.

Oh my god. From watching these videos, i know that each cartoon we see in the series has a deeper meaning. The Bon's Sleepover is a direct cartón representation of Ashley's death and, for all we know, Boozoo's death could be the representation of Felix's death. I know Sophie cant encounter Bon yet because she's still alive and we still dont know if she worked for Bons Burgers so why would she have the employee purple suit, Ashley had it and was killed by Bon, so it only makes sense.

Yay! It would have been easy for you to just cut out the one scene and then reuploaded the old version of part 1 just with that scene missing, but you actually took the time to improve the whole episode, thank you, Martin!
